Overall, the process was relatively easy. There was a month delay in our closing date due to supply chain issues out of Lennar's hands. I was disappointed that we were not able to pick out any options in this home as the builder decided what options they were putting in and that could not be changed. Complaints: it would be nice to be able to have the builder move closet shelving up or down to accommodate more shelves but they would not vary from their 'plan'. Also, the hot water takes FOREVER to get hot in not just our home but everyone else's in the community, even with a tankless heater. The builder offered no help with this. ... More

My construction manager was Chris. He was very accommodating when I wanted to visit the construction site. He made every effort to address any issues I had. I would have preferred a better painting contractor for the inside of my home as that quality is not up to par. Chris had them back twice so after that I gave up. If you are buying a Lennar home try for a lot that has been assigned to him as he is the best (trained by Matt who was good too!)

We were really involved with the building of our house from Day 1. We checked the construction progress everyday. We took a lot of pictures every step of the way and let the Building Manager know when we had issues. You're the buyer, take control!

Better than other builders people I know have used.

Good quality homes. Consultants were very friendly and promptly responded to issues. Loan process can be improved. Underwriters waited to 9th hour to request information that could be requested far in advance. Closing was delayed. Local Loan Manager, Keith worked diligently to get new closing date.

Very pleased with service from construction manager., Mitch. He was always available to answer questions and assist. Disappointed with sales representative. The day we signed agreement to buy house was the last time we heard from Patty.

Alot of attention to detail issues, wood trim gaps, rough drywall spots, uneven trim, tile work is very bad, uneven floors, uneven paint and colors, gaps in drywall, crown moulding on cabinets were way off, small damage to several cabinet pieces. Besides that the overall experience was ok. We had an issue with the plot size that wasn't disclosed to us and after signing the contract we brought up the issue and the sales person said "I didnt know" which to me is not an excuse as they gave me an answer to the question before like that had known. Regardless we ended up losing over 6500sqft of backyard. Lennar wouldn't do anything about it. Just be sure the sales rep you're speaking to can give you plot size and items in your home in writing. The price of the home was competitive to the surrounding area and home was finished in the general timeframes given to us. In the 9 months between down payment and closing we grew increasingly concerned that Lennar was trying to sell the home out from under us. Tactics used to undermine the sale were devious and not direct with us as buyers. Received pressure to remove contingencies and written agreement about timing was brought into question. Now that we have closed and the process is done, we’ve been told by those in the know that the home value for price is equal or better than other builders. Workmanship on finishes is only fair (sanding, painting, door alignment, over use of caulk to cover up sloppy workmanship, etc.) Everything is builder grade. No substitutions were allowed, not even colors. Worst issue: after only 4 months of gentle use, engineered hardwood floors (part of the premium package) have scratched easily and repair is impossible. Overall the market is over priced for what you get. The quality of the home is cheaper with no real customizable options. Staff is nice but quality of home feels cheap.

The sales staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The sales representative was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and still remembers our names months after we purchased the home. The house does have some design flaws. The tankless hot water heater is not able to quickly provide hot water to the kitchen although it functions well in the bathrooms and laundry area. The garage and driveway are narrow; most of our neighbors park at least one car in the driveway as they are unable to get two cars into the garage along with the usual homeowners items (lawn care equipment, bicycles, tools, etc.). Otherwise the house is well designed. We especially enjoy the screened in porch, but are adding a patio as are many of our neighbors. The interior rooms are of ample size and have a decent amount of closet space. The ceilings are 9 feet tall giving the rooms a more spacious appearance. The bathrooms, especially the master bath, are well done. The master bath and closet are very large and flow together nicely. Most of the finish work is of average quality but the quarter round is poorly implemented and appears as if the wood was chewed off rather than cut with a sharp saw. The interior paint job was substandard, especially the trim and railings. The flooring, although builder's grade, is reasonably nice and has held up well thus far. Lennar paid attention to amenities and equipped the home with a Ring doorbell, garage door opener, a Schlage numerical code front door lock, and nice landscaping. We wish that they had included a lawn irrigation system and a keypad outside of the garage door. The exterior of the home is cement fiberboard and is nicely painted. The guttering is adequate. Things to look at if considering a purchase: painting, trim work, hot water delivery, caulking along baseboards, the width of the driveway and the size of the garage, and, importantly, the terms imposed on homeowners by the HOA. Also, the neighborhood includes two pools, a clubhouse, playground, and open areas. Lennar is a reputable company but because they are building houses quickly, you need to pay attention to the details. ... More

The whole process went smoothly and I was always updated on the progress.

Overall good a experience. But critical construction mistakes were made which are being fixed. List: Leak in the foundation wall. Cracks and holes in the drive way. Lot boundaries incorrect (missed by engineers for lot 66 and 67)

The people I worked with from the contract all the way through to the Home Orientation Specialist were amazing and everyone had great personalities. I have noticed as time has gone on, that the finish work in my home is very questionable. I definitely have a house that is structurally sound, however, on a daily basis I see screws/nails popping, caulking not applied well enough, etc. I have also heard that there is an issue with the annual reviews being completed on time or even people getting a response. I have not completed this process yet but I foresee this being an issue for me as well.

no mail for six weeks i am still ticked off, Lennar dropped the ball stop blaming the post office should have been done a year ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Initial trip here was told only one plot open which you still cannot sell next to horse farm, glad we came again to find other plots available, house is great price is right but could have been handled better in the beginning

The longer I am in my townhome (which I love), I'm realizing how ridiculously small the garage is. I drive a small Veloster, and I can barely fit it in with my two garbage cans. Most homes around me have their cars parked on their driveways or in the streets, because they won't fit in the garage. The other thing I would change, is that I think we should have more say in the bigger items, like appliances and HVAC systems. I would have preferred to pay a little more for better appliances.

I put a Warranty request 2 weeks ago NO response!

I purchased the model home, it was in a good shape but I don’t like the fact that there no warranty on the house.

I absolutely love my home and have enjoyed working with Chad Aycock and John Faircloth. Matt from customer care has been helpful too. My main issue has been with my property. The yard was poorly graded and the yards are not 100% sodded. This is causing erosion on the back part of my property. The poor drainage was causing a lot of standing water on my property and it took a few months for it to be fixed. The issue has been addressed and a French drain was put in. It looked great at first but the dirt is starting to settle and you sink down into the ground where they dug the trench... the ground was not properly packed to avoid holes. It also took the landscapers 3-4 trips to complete the job. They kept coming out because it was not done properly. Overall the house is great. I love the neighborhood. I wish the whole property was sodded because I think moving forward sod is being provided on all of the properties. ... More
