I purchased the model home, it was in a good shape but I don’t like the fact that there no warranty on the house.

I absolutely love my home and have enjoyed working with Chad Aycock and John Faircloth. Matt from customer care has been helpful too. My main issue has been with my property. The yard was poorly graded and the yards are not 100% sodded. This is causing erosion on the back part of my property. The poor drainage was causing a lot of standing water on my property and it took a few months for it to be fixed. The issue has been addressed and a French drain was put in. It looked great at first but the dirt is starting to settle and you sink down into the ground where they dug the trench... the ground was not properly packed to avoid holes. It also took the landscapers 3-4 trips to complete the job. They kept coming out because it was not done properly. Overall the house is great. I love the neighborhood. I wish the whole property was sodded because I think moving forward sod is being provided on all of the properties. ... More

Poor built in quality/material and accessories.. Warranty team- very rude and long wait time to fix

I had very good opinion about Lennar before buying the house. After seeing process and the way it was constructed. My feeling is construction quality has reduced a lot. Also major concern is addressing the identified issues. The team is closing the issues with out properly addressing which is not fair.

Overall the home is good, and the build is good, did not face much issues until now. But I am not happy with the customer care post home closing, even during the construction process there was always communication gap from construction manager side, He never kept us in loop on the progress, did not even notify us before drywall were put. I had to contact him to get pre-drywall inspection scheduled and the drywalls were hastily put in so I couldn't get the inspection done. After closing, there are pre-identified issues with the lawn and shrubs which are not tackled by the construction manager, and only response I ever got from him is "Yeah we'll get it done, you need not worry", and no action on the ground to "actually take care of the issue". Poor communication, construction quality poor, lennar staff not willing to deliver quality home, construction manager not responsive n did not fix home inspection issues, home delivery to customer with bunch of issues, after closing complaints not handled, overall extremely bad experience

Construction Manger Scott His management style is friendly, and his feedback is always constructive. he always had time for discussion. His willingness to listen and advise constructively is far beyond expectations of any manager. Loan officers Corey / Chris where always accessible they where very analytical and can really break down complex figures into bit and pieces. They are very Helpfull.

They hurry you into closing by putting same date of delivery and closing. The quality of work has degraded.

The team was excellent selling the home. Being a track home builder, the materials quality was. 3/5. The price indicates that. Solving issues is a problem going thru them……there is a lot of deflecting involved so I tend to take care of things myself by spending more money. Great activities, clubhouse and social director planning events. There is ton to do if you want. I’m happy with the space layout inside my house but the workmanship is just ok…..I’m used to custom homes and this is my first track builder purchase.

Jason, Shawn, Danielle are all very efficient and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Lennar.

LOVE: 1. The floor plan and size 2. The screened porch 3. The absence of a garden tub in the master 4. The bench in the master bath shower 5. The linen closet in the master bath 6. The size of all the rooms, very spacious 7. The loft/flex space on the second floor 8. The layout of the neighborhood, plenty of distance from neighbors 9. The walking trails are wonderful 10. The tray ceiling in the master bedroom Do not love: 1. No peephole on front door or other way to see who is at the front door, forcing me to use Ring, which I despise and don’t want to pay for. 2. Finishes and fixtures look and feel cheap and flimsy 3. Having to install my own blinds has been a much bigger headache and expense than anticipated. I asked for blinds before purchasing and was told no. 4. I really hate the glass door to the screened porch. It makes me feel very unsafe and I wish I could have chosen a different door. Replacing it has been expensive and difficult. 5. Unclear communication about warranties. 6. No hand towel racks installed in the second floor bathrooms. Not expensive or difficult to install myself but feels cheap to have omitted them. Overall, I don’t know if I would have bought the house knowing what I know now. It was the best option for the price at the time. I really like the house overall, but the fixtures/finishes, back door, blinds, and Ring (and not having options) are reasons I would not recommend Lennar. ... More

Post box keys should be given while closing. They were not given to us. And we were asked to only come between 10am-4pm to the community and pick up the keys separately. This is ridiculous. Why cant the post box keys be given at the same time while closing. Very bad experience

This was a cross country move for me so I didn’t see the finished product until after closing. The finish work is mediocre at best. By this I mean that the painting around millwork leaves much to be desired. Shoddy patchwork, mismatched paint on the front door, etc. if I had seen this beforehand I would have flagged this right away.

Shocked by how often I was asked to give a 10/10 review of Lennar employees.

Mark and Travis were very quick to respond to all of follow up request on work that needed to be completed. The final condition of the home when we moved in was not up to what a home in this price range should have been. Lots of items that were agreed upon during the final walk through were not completed. Carrie in the sales department was great also!

Great workmanship and material. I only have concerns about how the backyard was slopped so water doesn't sit on the lawn. The lawn has eroded because the downspout drains 3 feet from the patio porch instead going all the way out of the yard. I can hear my neighbor going up and down the stairs. I can also smell when my neighbors smoke cigarettes; it moves through the vents. There is no natural sunlight that you get in the front of the house because of the design, no windows in front of the town-home.

Took so long for approval.

It was a bit of a rollercoaster experience. Lennar team did grewat by trying to make the process simple and easy, but loan officer (Elijah) often went incommunicado. To make matters worse, whenever we had the rare opportunity of reaching out to him, he seemed naive and non-reassuiring, making us filled with so much uncertainty and anxiety. At a point in time, i had the feeling that probably he was new on thre job. Overall, it was a success, but a lot could have been better done.

Experienced lot of quality issues since we moved in, did not expect this with the Lennar quality.

I have been following Triple crown community for past 1 year and see lot of changes between phase 1 and current phase . And I heard it’s a cost cut . There where several small yet important things which should have done while construction like no storage spaces in stand up , no upper cabinets in rest room. Orientation might have gone little better , stove was not working .. couldn’t connect WiFi to schlige and outdated garage device without WiFi .And still figuring out few.. Yes I know I signed the paperwork but I see intrest rate went down and lot of incentives came after which they haven’t covered or added . And several times we asked about other community , was mentioned it will come end of year but construction started early May , I feel there should be little transparency there . Always they say paper work is done and signed . And we went with Lennar Mortgage, proper communication is missing related to what comes next .Overall with the purchase we neither satisfied or disappointed, we are ok . ... More

lennar home are ok and price is also ok.

We are happy with the home, and the process EXCEPT the mortgage process. I do not recommend Lennar Mortgage. They do not seem to know what documents are needed, and will keep asking for documents until the day of closing, and even after closing. They are also doing heavy data collection - many of the questions asked seem to have no relevance to the mortgage.

The buying experience was very organized. The process was explained well and we were given periodic updates. We actually used the builder’s mortgage company which made the whole process go smoothly. The quality of the craftsmanship leaves a lot to be desired. The sub-contractors don’t show pride in their work. The overall site/home supervisor does not put my effort in presenting a good product. The materials used on construction are definitely builder grade even if you purchase the elite package. For example the towel rods and toilet paper holders are plastic and didn’t match anything else in the bathrooms. In less than a month we have had to submit over 10 work orders to correct issues. We did a number of walk through during the building process but the issues continue to develop. On a positive note, they have addressed the issues. The landscaping was pretty much dead when we closed. Many of the plants had already died and they are not covered under warranty. We have spent hundreds of dollars replacing. The home floor plans are nice but there is absolutely NO changes or additions permitted. We wanted to add a 240v outlet in garage for electric car, and willing to pay for it, but they refused. Wanted to have a higher quality and more efficient HVAC installed but refused. Wanted to add a couple more wall outlets but again it was refused. They simply said you can do these after closing. Why would I pay to have another HVAC system installed after a brand new one removed. Overall I like the area but you need to constantly check on the builder so corners are not cut. I hope that someone is reading this. This is my second experience with this builder and unfortunately it wasn't satisfactory, again. Starting from raising the price after agreeing and paying the deposit, to the mediocre communication level throughout the building process, to the closing day to discover zillion type of "fees" - such as $750 paid to the builder to continue building the community! -, to receiving the wrong keys of the house because of which I can't change the schlage code until today, to time after receiving the house to discover that a door missing a knob, the heating system is not working, the water heater in not working, which I called them about and they sent someone to fix it. Lately, I discovered that the shower glass door doesn't latch perfectly, and attic pull down stick is broken. Mostly, when I called the builder representative, I didn't get but referrals to other staff or the closing lawyer. In a nutshell, I was hoping to feel the builder/staff as a team to back you off, instead of the I and Them sort of relationship! Part of this sad experience is on me, but I just didn't expected a new constructed house of about $500k to be like this. Maybe, I should have left the deposit (just about $15k) and quit all together from the very beginning. I'm surely not happy in general. A disappointing experience. The personnel have been very nice throughout; however, this does not make up for the other issues. The quality of material is terrible for the price paid and there is no attention to detail. The finish work, in particular, is shockingly sloppy. Some of it can be touched up but many items will never look they way they should. We didn’t expect perfection, but this suggests work being done as fast as possible with no regard for how the finished product looks. Does no one have any pride in their work? I so wish we hadn’t purchased this home and I’m very worried about it keeping its value. This was a huge mistake. I wish we had paid more attention to the poor reviews of other Lennar homes.
