Overall my experience with Lennar has been outstanding. The girls in the office and the construction manager had great communication and helped whenever they could to answer any questions or issues I had. This has turned out to be a great neighborhood as well! The only complaints I have is HOA which is currently run by a company that makes you feel like you live in a communist country. They offer no help or even a response when asked for it but is quick to tell you what you need to do or haven’t done with very little grace period. My other complaint is with the Lennar Mortgage side of things. ...

Although we enjoy and like the community and neighbors, we were very disappointed with the quality of materials used and workmanship. As an example, we noticed the commode in the guest bathroom was extremely off center. Lennar refused to do anything about it and said it was within their level of tolerance. Quarter round molding in kitchen not finished with a mitered edge. Again, we were told, "that's the way we finish that area". They gave us a piece of molding so we can finish it to our "liking". Our Construction Manager has been very responsive throughout the home building process as well as getting things done on our checklist once we were moved in. Now the sales people although they were nice, there were a couple things that we found out after the fact that would’ve changed our option choices & we would’ve been happier with our purchase having the proper knowledge during the buying period.

I've only been living in the new home just 4 months, and I have had many issues. My front door is coming apart because the weather strips fell part causing the hot air to suck in. I called customer support and I was told that's I use the door too much so that's why the weather strips are falling off. I've only been living in the new home for four months and I shouldn't have to deal with those issues. The buying experience was great. Everything went smoothly and every response was quick. I feel that they delivered quality better than I anticipated. So it is a good value for money. However the post sale service is not so good. There was no guidance on the electronic security system and till date I have not seen any feedback on that. Even for small repair they have very rigid time schedule which means you need to take leave for getting anything in the house. So the happiness of getting good home got mixed up with poor service.

In the 9 months between down payment and closing we grew increasingly concerned that Lennar was trying to sell the home out from under us. Tactics used to undermine the sale were devious and not direct with us as buyers. Received pressure to remove contingencies and written agreement about timing was brought into question. Now that we have closed and the process is done, we’ve been told by those in the know that the home value for price is equal or better than other builders.
