When we first met RJ, the sales rep, in November, he told us that the prices had been reduced considerably because Lennar needed to sell all of their inventory by the end of December 2023, in order to be able to build new homes in Franklinton. He lead me to believe that the prices would go back up in the new year and that these prices were almost “too good to be true.” This caused “the fear of missing out” within me, so I was compelled to sell my home on Opendoor (the only way Lennar accepts contingencies), for a $30-40K loss. I think we had the worst experience with the Lennar team, from sales to concierge. Once you sign the initial contract, the sales team acted as if they don't know us. We tried to contact them a couple of times regarding the change in closing date from what was initially confirmed and there was absolutely no response from them. We left a couple of voicemails but no call backs or anything. Then there's another team called concierge team. Would absolutely not recommend. Cut corners at every possible turn. The material used was as cheap as possible and absolutely 0 attention to detail, to the point they messed up the install of several appliances and little things like the electrical outlets aren't even flush with the wall. Unfortunately my buying experience wasn’t a smooth or pleasant one. The home itself is nice but the workmanship left much to be desired. Sloppy work had to be pointed out versus the workers recognizing their sloppy work and correcting it on the spot. The construction manager was awful. He did not communicate well with myself or the realtor; he failed to keep us in the loop of key milestones. Quality not that great. Never ever go with Lennar mortgage whatever promotional offer is given. They’ll drag you until the very last moment to give so many surprises and you’ll not be able to get the full promotional offer and you’ll feel cheated.

During the inspection before the house was delivered, we found that the concrete floor of the garage was cracked into spider webs. This is not what a new house should look like. We understand that the concrete cannot be dug out and re-poured after it is poured. We just asked for repairs until the floor looks crack-free. But your staff was perfunctory. They simply applied a layer to cover the floor. But the cracks in the concrete are still clearly visible. Signed our first home with lot of hopes, but we had a very bad experience with Lennar team (Sales, Mortgage). We had to close the home in APR, unfortunately my father in law was passed away during that time. We had to go to our home country for his final rituals. So we have requested for reschedule the “Final closing”. They have agreed and provided the new date. When we are at “Final closing” table, they have added 1 month penalty of 2800$ for the delay. We were shocked and surprised. Then we and our realtor called the Lennar team sales person and requested explanation of this penalty. ...

Worst experience with the builder starts from sales team till handover team. They behave like monark. Very rude. Not ready to accept any of our requests. Agreement is mostly from their side (one side ). they can change what ever they want.

From signing the contract to requesting service for items covered under builder warranty has been a horrible experience. The builder is using real state agents to other bidding, who have no idea about the building process or the established standards. Everything in the construction process is contracted out to third parties that hire workers at minimum wage without any construction experience. The quality of work and finishing is awful. Their only purpose is to quickly proceed from contract to closing. Do not waste your time, money, or energy.

I am rating because of the issues I faced after I moved in. I booked remotely house in Devon Square and during inspection we showed multiple things but they didn’t fix even after months of move and even after we raised multiple requests. I had terrible experience, one of the sales representative was very rude and never speak politely with customers. Multiple home owners mentioned this, not sure if Lennar really want their team to rude with their customers.
