Quality of home is bad

In side Drywall filling is worse, we can able to hear the fan noise in bathroom from the attic. Even if the exhaust fan is on in any bathroom, we can able to hear the noice in Sittings area or in the Kitchen. Our Rented Apartment is much better in terms of privacy( we cannot hear the people chatting voice from one Bedroom to another.) I have asked the same with construction manager and he skipped to answer on this issue. Over, my experience with Lenner is worse.

I am sad I used an outside realtor who was not the best; however, the Lennar staff has been amazing both during and after the process. Juan, Daniel, David, Jason have all been amazing!! We did have some minor electrical issues, but they corrected everything promptly once I reached out to them.

The process started off great! Everyone was nice and the communication was excellent. Our closing date was pushed back three times due to permits building issues. Each new closing date we were promised everything would be ready to go by the new closing date and that was never the case. We were told all blue tape issues and the overall home would be done before we moved in and they were not. Even after we closed on the home there were still blue tape issues that had never been fixed so we have a list of work orders to submit.

When you say you want to do something again, is because either it was real bad and you want to make it better, OR, it was so good and seamless that doing it again will just add to your experience! The latter is my case with our recent home purchase from Lennar. From day 1, when we saw the model home, to when we moved into our new place, Lennar was there for us. Everything so far has worked out for me here in my new home. The only problem my head was the amount that I had to come to closing had changed on me twice with being in contact with my son who also purchased a home in Charlotte from Lennar homes also bringing only $12,000 to the table at closing where I had to bring, I think it was 58,000 closing. Beware of the quality of work done! Lennar just contract everything to third parties. Quality depends on the mercy of third party contractors workmanship. When you leisurely inspect yourself you will find several issues/problems. I would avoid Lennar given a chance!

We've a bunch of issues found after and before closing date. They were not addressed completely and getting them fixed is nightmare. Worst experience with both the properties that bought from lennar at garner & raleigh. Felt like never do business with this builder again!

Our home buying experience has been pretty good. The Lennar representative has walked us though the plans and set the expectations about the build quality and the construction timeline. The moment we signed the contract they started right away working on the project and keep us in loop with construction manager and kept us posted about the progress biweekly. I am rating because of the issues I faced after I moved in. I booked remotely house in Devon Square and during inspection we showed multiple things but they didn’t fix even after months of move and even after we raised multiple requests. On top of this they also charged me $200 for inspection I dont know what that was for. Also I got the electricity bill dates before the closing date and they are asking me to pay. Bought my 2nd townhome with Lennar in wake forest, NC area. All I can say Lennar delivers on time. However their finish quality has gone down significantly, they don’t pay much attention to detail before final walkthrough, even you note the issues it required multiple follow for the same issue. Sales process and customization almost to NIL. They kind of operate in zone of take it or leave it. So unless you are looking for an investment property you kind of avoid even for large single family home. When our old house sold in 24 hours and the buyers wanted a 14 day close we thought we would be homeless. I got on the Lennar site and found a home that was move in ready and met our needs I clicked buy now. I received a call shortly there after that the home was sold but there was another one on the same street, that fit our needs even better. The sales agent Ashley guided us through the contract and worked with us by phone and email. We closed in under 30 days, everything was easy and well communicated. Although quick it was a very smooth transition to our new home.
