Start to finish everything was an average to a little bit above average experience left no negative impressions on me whatsoever and everyone I dealt with was willing to go the extra mile. The only glitch in my whole experience was my closing, and it was a terrible experience. They were not prepared at all. I don’t know what happened behind the scenes. It’s hard to say, and I had a very nice attorney closing with me, but I had a very good experience with the mortgage company so this was turned into hours after hours after hours of sitting around trying to close and the attorneys on the closing team said I did not have what I needed after the mortgage company had told me I had what I needed and at the end of the day the attorneys are closing had to be corrected. I did end up closing, but it was extremely stressful. We never wish that on anyone we never wanna have to go through that again if it was not for the unbelievable kindness of my closing attorney that I’m not sure we would’ve made it through. Where the mistake was obviously made was in the preparation. I know these closing sometimes seem to come up on us and almost feel last minute, but due to my divorce, the attorneys were asking for things that was not necessary and I knew they were not necessary and at the end of the day we closed and they were not necessary. Why did we have to ask that out on closing? Why didn’t we take care of that before? I’m not sure what those answers are I walked away extremely stressed, moving stressful anyway especially when you’re going through a divorce, but I survived it and I will say I don’t believe there was intentionality in it so that’s my good and bad opinion of my experience ... There is no follow thru, honesty or integrity at the Calabash office whatsoever for your attorney. There was zero communication, no returned phone calls or emails. At one point they sent preliminary closing docs and were asking for $360k+ in funds. They had the funds in an escrow account for my 1031 exchange. We closed 3 days late and even then had to wait 3 hours to get our keys. The funds due to me at the close were unavailable until 2 days later. The insurance for my homes was never paid (against the law as they had the funds) and my insurance was canceled. In the end I had to pay the insurance and fight to get a check for reimbursement. Butler & College should be terminated for incompetency, non-communication and breaking the law. I have not reported them but am informing you. All funds during a closing are to be disbursed. They were not. If it had not been for Kevin Williams, we would have never closed. Your attorney made the buying experience awful. ... More

The team led by our rep, Chloe, were very thorough and responsive to our needs and concerns.

Our settlement was awful. Unorganized, was not a smooth transaction. We got to closing on Wednesday before Thanksgiving and they told us we may not get our keys till Monday. We had to sit and wait for paper work to be finished. We came from out of state for settlement. They would not be flexible with time at all.

We are happy with our home. But have had some issues. Master closet shelving fell down as soon as clothes hung in it. It was poorly installed. We paid someone to come in and install it correctly. Garbage disposal switch is in the dining area. And you have to walk out of the kitchen to turn it on while leaving the water running. Also extremely difficult to leave and enter development due to construction vehicles blocking only road out of development and no one manages traffic flow.

Keith and Heidi do a great service to your customers in this community. This is our 3rd Lennon home and there services was outstanding.

It was an overall great experience. We did not like that the closing date was decided strictly by the builder with no consideration given for our schedules. The closing team was excellent & very professional. They attempted to accommodate us within the constraints they were given by the builder.

The agent Lane was the most honest, professional & patient agent. After the purchase it has all been down hill. It has been extremely disappointing.

I was a bit unhappy with the failure to complete the drywall around the garage door, leaving the walls in the garage unpainted as well as a lack of towel racks and toilet paper racks in the bathrooms. I realize that many people would prefer to pick their own styles for the bathrooms.

Our house purchase was very smooth. We have been looking for the right house for years. This house checked off all of our boxes.

I was searching for a new home that was affordable and had all that I was looking for. I found Lennar and was very impressed with quality, price and the standard upgrades in the price. I worked with the Lennar team and I can’t say enough they put me on the fast track to get into my home and sure enough I was in without any issues. My home was more than expected and no short cuts this house was built right I inspected it myself and well Lennar builders did a great job. Very happy and if you find minor issues or any issues they will come right out and fix the issue. I had a small floor scuff mark and reported it and the next day the contractor was at my home and fixed the issue. Now that’s service. Beautiful location and well planned out community plus landscaping is very professional and well kept I never usually write reviews but Lennar did such a good job with the home .service.and helping me along the way with buying process it just need to be in writing ... We were doing a 1031 exchange which amounted to 80% of the value of our condo but we were asked for so many documents that was just way too time consuming to submit, especially getting records for 8 different businesses. We were obviously qualified but they kept on asking for more and on the 11th hour we decided to pay the balance in cash. Fortunately, we had the funds, but what about others that are being harassed because the decision maker sitting behind the desk does not have any common sense at all?.

I do not regret buying from Lennar, but the process was rough. First of all, the price is not the price. There is a builder's fee you pay at closing. Secondly, while the guy who headed up the building process is awesome and has been very responsive, and while there are some nice features in the quality of the materials they used, there are also some weird cost saving things that they do, like putting studs on 24" centers if they are internal and non load bearing. Also, the flooring seems very substantial but it is sheeting and not planks, which of course means if it gets damaged, the whole thing is ruined. There was also an issue with my closing. I was told I had to close at the end of May, which was great for me. But all of a sudden with no real explanation and very little communication, the closing was moved two weeks, which caused me all kinds of problems and ultimately cost me money. After throwing a pretty big fit over the lack of answers they did give me a good sized credit at closing off the price. Over all, I am very happy with the house and the final price. It just felt like the process was rough and at times shady because it almost felt like they were not wanting to tell me the truth. They also want you to use their financing and their attorney. They do give you some credit for using them, but if you start to check and make sure using their people is the best value, you will not be able to get a straight answer. ... More

Great quality for the price

Brian was with us though out the whole process any details that were missed he saw that they were taken care of as well as the on-site Foreman we had no other issues to walk through went flawless we only had about four small places to be repaired we've had some other things come up and they're in a process of clearing those up for us as well

The customer care division for issues post closing have been great. Promptness, courteous, professional! We closed in a very short period of time and there was some mis information but overall a pretty good experience

Happy with the overall experience. Very helpful sales agent and construction manager. They kept me up to date on progress and sent pictures (I moved from another state). Noah with Lennar Mortgage was fantastic and made the mortgage process simple.

Heide, my sales associate and Steve, the building manager were great to work with.

I recently purchased a home in Sunfish Cove in Sunset Beach NC December 2024. This was the easiest transition for me thanks to Heidi and my realtor. Absolutely love my new home!

My family and I moved from another state up north. We totally love it here. The community is very quiet and our new neighbors are great! Heidi, our sales rep, is wonderful! She is such an asset to Sunfish Cove! She has helped my family and I tremendously.

From showing us the house . To going through the loan process. And doing our walk through. Everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful . We had been looking for awhile and just happen to pull in to see the new houses . So glad we did. We love our new house and appreciate all the help we got during the process.

We have had a great experience so far. The very beginning with Ethan finding us the location we wanted and the floor plan we didn't know we needed was great. Noah was very efficient and helpful during the loan process as well. We had a water issue right at move in and customer service went out of there way to make sure we were taken care of. We've been here just over 2 months and everything is working well and we love our little home near the beach.
