Barbara wasn't friendly and Noah who did the walk through wasn't helpful at all. During the final walk through he only had 5 minutes to go through the house. There were so many things that were still wrong with the house and no information on who to send the claim form. The communication was bad from everyone at Lennar. I wish I went with another choice.

Homebuyers on their own, no single point of contact, no coordinated assistance during contract closing, inspection services, multiple ***** offices. Sales agent left Lennar after contract signing. Dealing with Lennar is not for the weak. No one seems to care about the new homeowner. Will avoid Lennar if purchasing in the future.

Lennar was very difficult to deal with. There were 4-5 different people with no clear direction on who to talk to about what is*****. I used lennar mortgage the day before i was supposed to close the mortgage guy called and told me we coudln't close, then told me he didn't have my down payment, and then later told me he found it. Lennar broker promised things to me to entice me to do this deal and did not follow through on this. I would not work with Lennar again they not easy nor trustworthy

Builder needs to approve overall product

Our experience with Lennar has been extremely disappointing, particularly regarding the backyard of our new home. The plans and information provided during the purchase process did not accurately represent the condition of the lot. We expected a relatively manageable backyard slope, but the completed home was delivered with a steep embankment approximately 15–17 feet high, taking up a significant portion of the usable yard. During our walkthrough, the construction manager acknowledged that there had been an engineering or communication error. Despite this acknowledgment, Lennar did not offer a solution proportionate to the severity of the problem. We were offered only a $5,000 credit or the option to move to another lot, even though properly addressing the slope, drainage, and retaining-wall concerns could cost tens of thousands of dollars. We raised the is***** well before closing and repeatedly attempted to reach a fair resolution. Communication was inconsistent, responsibility was passed between representatives, and we never felt that our concerns were treated with the urgency or transparency they deserved. The home itself has some positive features, but the backyard is***** substantially affects the property’s usability, safety, appearance, and potential future cost. Based on our experience, buyers should carefully compare the grading plans with the actual lot conditions, request all representations in writing, and independently evaluate any slopes, drainage, or retaining-wall requirements before closing. The finance officers are lazy and don’t do their job. The quality manager makes excuses for every single finding not up to standards. The closing finance officer never reviewed the final numbers with me and sent me straight to notary to sign all the papers. A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY. I loved *****. I have nothing nice to say about anyone else.

I was impressed with everything except the walk through experience and how I now know I should have been able to check more carefully for potential problems . Mostly items outside , but we moved quickly through all of it . The house inside is great , no is*****s except for 1 window I be*****ve should have a blind installed . Or at least I should have been told , but I was told all windows except the back door and the non working window over the front door . Everyone has been super nice ! I am happy to have gone with Lennar ! Builder credits during settlement were a huge help and appreciated .

The overall process was fairly smooth. Had one is***** along the way with the kitchen cabinet colors, and it was resolved in a timely manner. The home was completed and closed within the beginning date that I received. The walk through went well, and I enjoyed working with the construction manager who was very accommodating and helpful.

***** is*****s were plbg. main sewer line was holding water, discovered on inspection. The plumber should have done the testing after installation and checked grades for proper drainage. Landscaper grade is F. The crew needed a supervisor. Not Lennar supervisor but their crew super. Sod was delived and LEFT on the street on a hot day...the heat burned the roots. They still layed the dead sod, took weeks to get replaced with new. On replacing they layed on top of dead, and ***** remove dead sod in spots and spoils. Next rain water drained onto the driveway...a crew supervisor should have taken care of this. Powerwashed the driveway...BUT TOWARD the house instead of an angle, not there is sand and dirt on the new garage door, I had to go was it off with my hose. Underwriting asked a lot of invasive questions regarding my parents being my tenants at my old property & it caused a delayed approval.

Zac with sales was great! However closing was a disaster! They had a mobile notary guy do my close who did not know any questions and could not answer any, was on the phone looking at weird stuff. Sent is*****s for warranty, its been 4 days no response. Apart from that all good.

My experience with lennar

Average experience. Final walk through was quick and my attention was drawn to small imperfections in the wall rather than the real is*****s, felt intentional. Also sales team promised that ended up being false

The first day (all of my pictures are date/time stamped): 1. the front door weather stripping seal at the bottom of the door was 80% off 2. the back door paint was bubbling and peeling, and though I pointed it out to Mike (the builder), he said "that wasn't there before, what bumped it." I said "the landscapers turned on the water too soon after it was painted" (as you don't get 100+ bubbles and peeling from bumping it). 3. the construction crew leveled the bottom piece of siding by the front door with a carpenters pencil 4. ***** came by, again about a month ago, took pictures of the brown/dead areas in the *****n and said he was going to have those patches replaced. Nothing as of yet. Being a painter, I asked for the paint they used on that door and the color of the interior wall paint over a month ago, and about a week ago, I got a little container of the wall paint (thankfully). ... Lennar Homeowner Survey – Formal Complaint From start to finish, our experience with Lennar has been unacceptable. The sales process was marked by consistent rudeness, dismissiveness, and disrespect from the sales representative. Her behavior made communication unnecessarily difficult and created obstacles at nearly every step. What should have been a straightforward, professional experience became stressful and adversarial because of her conduct. The walkthrough was rushed, incomplete, and clearly not treated with the seriousness it deserved. Numerous is*****s we pointed out were not addressed before closing, despite being documented. After moving in, we discovered even more problems throughout the home — is*****s that should have been caught long before we ever received the keys. The service portal added to the frustration, as it was difficult to use and slowed down the process of getting anything resolved. The condition of the home after closing was far below any reasonable standard. A month after moving in, we were still finding construction debris around the property, and every single light fixture contained debris and dead insects. The home was delivered extremely dirty, which is unacceptable for a new build. More concerning are the construction quality is*****s that raise serious questions about oversight and workmanship. Several windows are not plumb and vary noticeably in size. Multiple walls are visibly uneven or not straight. Some fixtures remain in disrepair, even after attempts to address them. These are not minor cosmetic concerns — they reflect a lack of quality control and attention to detail. In summary, this experience has been one disappointment after another, spanning sales, construction, walkthrough, closing, and post‑move‑in support. We expected professionalism, quality, and care. Instead, we received a home with significant defects and a process marked by disrespect, poor communication, and inadequate follow‑through. The craftsmanship was dismal at best. There were several is*****s noted in the initial walkthrough that were not and have no been fixed. The conception of a virtual walkthrough was completely unreasonable. You can’t see is*****s through a phone screen. That policy is ridiculous. House grading is not correct- Water pools and damaging grass. Office personnel unclear about details and gave incorrect information. Unwilling to fix is*****s that they caused. The process seemed rushed. As a first time home buyer, this was not a good experience.

The fence is literally falling apart and the assessment was it's ok and they will not repair it. The fence was poorly stained and someone was to come out here weeks ago to fix and no one has showed up. The access stairs to the attic is very shaky and does not close properly because it is out of alignment. Once again I was told that is the best they can do, I just need to put some muscle into it. The water shut off door in the garage won't open and when I try it feels like the entire casing will come out of the wall. The ceiling on the back patio was cut poorly and now that I removed the light to add a ceiling fan the gap shows. Again do to initial shoddy work. Even the system to go online to pay my mortgage was poorly developed and the rep I spoke with told me there was nothing that could be done about because they don't have IT experts. That prove to be NOT TRUE. Talked a different rep the following week and she got a website rep on the phone with both of us and the problem was resolved. It had everything to do with Lennar setting me up in the system incorrectly. After the sale was complete I never heard back from the sales guy, he ignored all of my calls but rep*****d to some of them via email. Didn't get my mailbox key for 3 weeks. Of course there is a lot I didn't pay attention before closing. No room to run a *****n mower properly because mine and the neighbors units are too close to access between. Just a bunch of other is*****s that let's me know that Lennar does not have the resident in mind when building. I will never buy another Lennar home. ... More

Would not recommend anyone to buy a Lennar home

The whole experience sucked. Great credit. No late bills. 50,000.00 down payment and denied.

We are enjoying the spacious one level home with much storage. However we have lived here since May 13th and still have dirt. Our neighbors across the street who moved in this week were notified that their landscaping will begin presently. We’re very disappointed to be ignored.
