Poor quality of paint in the house. The paint was a definite rip-off. Missing some door stoppers. Oven door fell off on first use. AC system leaking water all over floor. Heating and AC system too close to master bedroom.

I loved that Lennar was doing rate buy downs, it allowed us to move into our home. However, I didn't love the fact that we couldn't choose certain things about our house and that certain things weren't included and we had to do after purchasing the home. I don't particularly love our downstairs layout, I don't feel like there is enough pantry space, kitchen space, and some of the cabinets are shaped awkwardly. It also looks like the inside of the kitchen cabinets aren't really sturdy. IF you put something in the wrong way, the divider will fall. Not ideal. I feel like we could've been more involved during the building process. We only received like 3 calls throughout. Quality is honestly okay, things could've been done much better and better attention to detail was definitely needed. We had a gas leak the first day we were in there - huge problem as I was alone with my infant son. It was resolved that same day, but it shouldn't have happened if things were checked better before closing. One of the pipes on the furnace wasn't tight enough. Just know that you have the best sales rep, Yvette and the best warranty/inspector Nicole. Lennar don't give you guys grace. You two did an amazing job.

These are my personal opinion and experience and may be the exception. The new appliances that came with the unit was not of great value. Had refrigerator break down (lost frozen food) and dryer not functioning as it should. Called repair service under warrenty but parts took 2 weeks delivery. Purchased another brand.

Although may not deter from owning another Lennar home in the distant future but move-in experience after buying process did not go as well. Too many defects unnecessary deficiencies for a new home. Process of getting them corrected was transferred and had run smoother than it started.

The carpentry and painting was very poor quality. We blue tapes places that was not taken care of.

I have the found process of the closing, knowing who to contact for the HOA, obtaining the trash cans, getting the keys, etc., to be very difficult I am still trying to find out how to pay for my HOA fees. In addition, I was very disappointed to learn that each resident has to water their own lawns. I paid nearly $2,000 toward the HOA initial fee and no sprinklers are provided. This mean hoses are out front all the time, and each person's law will look different, I would have been willing to have paid extra for a sprinkler system.

We got a great price we love the location and the neighborhood. However the sales process had plenty of errors. The loan process had a lack of communication. Construction was clearly rushed and builder used the cheapest materials possible.

Multiple times through the entire process we were disappointed that Lennar discontinued many practices, even from one house to another, seemingly at random. When preparing the contract to purchase, we stopped by the model home to speak to the representative and every single thing we liked about the model home we were told they no longer did in this neighborhood. It was very disappointing, but we had already made plans to purchase new construction due to high interest rates. There has also been quite a bit of cost cutting throughout the entire house. We have a 7ft “crawl space” with no access to it because they said they didn’t have to (this was specifically told to us when it was brought up multiple times, even though they put our HVAC down there that needs new filters often). Another thing is that all of our hinges throughout the entire home are spray painted white instead of matching the hardware on the rest of the doors and it looks very sloppy. Long story short, ever since closing, we have been finishing a house that we feel was incomplete at purchase. Of course we are giving them an opportunity to fix the issues, but we feel they should have done the right thing PRIOR to closing, considering Lennar’s vast resources. We just really expected a better experience from a builder like Lennar, but in my opinion, profits seem to mean more to them than a good, quality homes and doing what’s right. ... More

Buying a home with Lennar was definitely exciting at first, but once I moved in, it wasn’t. The construction on their homes can be sloppy at times. They are building them too fast to check for simple mistakes. When buying a home be sure to have another home inspection completed before signing anything. Be sure to check for thing you would rarely look for (ceiling being leveled, paint missing on doors, neatness of caulk etc). Look for everything. Just don’t be fooled by the beauty of the home. Really look at what you’re purchasing. Even with many problems in the home, Lennar fixed everything I asked for. The price is good for anyone want to own house, but the quality is lowest

The floorplan is excellent and has everything I need. The quality of workmanship is okay but not exceptional. They have responded very well with any of my concerns or issues.

It was frustrating to not get a specific date and time for closing to arrange for moving labor. There was a succinct lack of ongoing communication between placing a deposit and clay of closing. All communication had to be initiated by me. It would have been nice to have regular updates weekly at least. The lines if communication between sales, mortgage loan officer and me were separate. Try making it a team effort to promote the 'Lennar' family. Additionally, Inspecid8cally asked if my loan would be sold and was told 'no'. That was apparently an outright lie.

They do not respond to problems quickly and the quality of the repair leaves much to be desired.

If I had to do it over again I would not buy a lennar home. After moving in There were many things the Builder overlooked. For instance, The builder over looked many times. After closing now going on are Third month still waiting on windows to be replaced above the garage. That the builder knew was wrong. Just one of the things that were not right.

All okay, not happy or satisfied I would say okay

This review is after 8 weeks of closing. Price is for the Lennar brand and I don't feel it's worth it. Pros: House Plans, Community, Location, decent customer service team Cons: Subpar Workmanship & Quality during the construction process. Poor finishing of concrete on the front porch and screened porch. Hole in the driveway exposing clay within a month of moving. Poor quality of LVP causing chips/dents. The dishwasher broke on 2nd week. Inadequate disclosure during sales by the sales agent and the agent goes AWOL after the purchase. Uneven flooring causes wide gaps between the floor and trim. Improper positioning of lights and switches. The cleanliness of the house and surrounding was below expectations before delivery. Punch items dispute and resolution with the construction manager was a hassle and still items were left out. Items on the plan were not delivered despite it being on the model home. ... More

The house itself is very nice, the warranty response has been good to great. The actual buying process was.... frustrating. We were frequently told to sign paperwork affirming we'd recird documents we hadn't received, then promised we'd get them later ("it's just a formality"). When signing the initial purchase agreement we were supposed to receive the HOA covenants and bylaws, we did not get them and we're told we'd get them at closing. At closing I asked about them to be told, "no, we don't deal with thay at closing you should get them when you move in/the hoa contacts you." We still don't have them and it's been almost two months. Closing was all online, and then they tell you to drive somewhere else where they give you a manilla folder of keys and shunt you out the door in 5 minutes. Very impersonal once they've got your money. The closing cost credits were amazing and the house and Floorplan are great, and I'd recommend lennar to others, just that your expectations of interaction with lennar themselves should be tempered, people are nice, service is (mostly) good, but don't expect to feel special or valued or like you've got much of a personal connection with anyone other than your personal realtor. The overall process was relatively smooth and pleasant. The sales team was very responsive and answered questions quickly, and once the closing was set, things moved very efficiently. Very disappointed in the lack of attention to detail and overall shoddy work in the finish of the home. All of the touch up was very poorly done. Globs of touch up left on door frames without being smoothed/sanded. When the house was shown on the "new home orientation," it was not very presentable. The cleaners did next to nothing to clean. There was paint on the floors that weren't cleaned up, nails left in the deck, and numerous other items that had to be pointed out. It's disappointing that all of the work seems rushed, and on top of that, there are supervisors and people around who should be checking this but seem to take no time to walk through themselves and get it corrected. I had a better experience with outside buys than with Lennar. I felt it was fine but wasn't great. I had higher expectations. I feel floor plan could have been better designed. They give zero options to modify anything. I feel their quality of features has decreased. They downgraded the materials they used in our neighborhood after few homes. They didn't include fridge anymore either. Also response time wasn't great for certain aspects of their mortgage and closing communication. We bought a model home 7 years after it was constructed, so we did not work directly with builders. Our construction manager that we worked with was great and help advocate for repairs that the property manager otherwise refused. Overall responsiveness to questions and concerns could use some improvement. You could tell that the company was just ready to offload the property as quickly as they could.
