We had a leak in the downstairs bathroom where a nail was put through a cold water line. Mold was found in the walls from the leak and required holes to be placed in the walls and flooring in the downstairs bathroom, hall closet and entry area near the garage. We had a sewage blockage that was noticed in our walk-through. There was carpet installed on the stairs over broken floorboards. There was vinyl flooring placed over a hole in the sub-flooring in the master bathroom. Overall the price of the home was affordable, especially for the area. The home was built with builder grade materials so didn't expect anything of quality and I received exactly as expected. Overall the buying process is stressful and they force you into using their mortgage. I do not suggest using their title company. The sales staff are so-so. At first super responsive but as the process moves along they do a horrible job coordinating things and keeping you updated. The walk through person was probably the only bright spot. Hasn't even been a month, but a water pipe burst and flooded the first floor and dragging your feet to fix it, unless I email and complain about it. Probably should not send out mass "rate us," emails before checking the recipients, but here you go

It was overall good. The only thing I didn’t really appreciate was the home loan officer that I worked with, who was very unresponsive and difficult to deal with. Not helpful at all, especially as a first time homebuyer, the loan officer made it such an unpleasant experience. During the home celebration/inspection, we found a few paint that needed to be addressed and I was promised that we can ask for some paint after we fully moved in. Now that we’re all moved in for a month now, they’re saying they can’t give us any paint as it is a state law.

Very unsettling not getting towel bar in the bathrooms. Thermostat was not compatible with WiFi when we were told many times it was we had to dog it with the Ac company to get it resolved ( had to change thermostat)?Chris did help us reimbursed. The soil has many rocks and construction materials in the soil. No light in the pantry. No support with smart appliances, door and ring setups. The dinning room light outlet box was not center to the room we had to pay to have it corrected. All and all it was a frustrating experience.

Lennar sales person is very nice and helpful, other workers don’t trust , When you buy a house from them before closing need to be very careful check everything if they don’t fix them you have to fix them on your own. Like my gate to backyard from day one we bought the house cannot keep closing have to use a zip tie to zip the gate not very professional job , lay dead grass and blamed you not watering it ,

Felt like the issues never got resolved and it was rushed just trying to close us on the house there’s lots of screwed up things that’s should of got fixed and now I have to do warranty work for all of it instead of it just getting done right the first time I don’t roll like that and I find it unacceptable when other people do

We’ve had an okay experience. A lot of the finishes are cheaper quality with things missing like towel racks, toilet paper holders etc that you don’t realize won’t come with it. The way they dramatically slope the small sides of the home also just make mud pits on both sides of your house and our neighbors are having the same issues. We’re on the edge of the path and Lennar still hasn’t put sod down on the path along our yard so it’s another mud pit now overrun with weeds.

Though the overall buying experience was ok, there are poor quality workmanship including a big chip of wood lost in the main door near the lock. Shocked how a big builder like Lennar could miss such basic quality checks.

1-extremely disappointed in the lawn. Sod looks like it was laid by a child because there are gaps galore! The seed that was laid on the sides and back almost refuse to grow because it was not watered properly or regularly prior to us moving in. There are brown areas all over. The dirt used was the wrong dirt and wasn't graded because there are so many rocks and stones like construction dirt was used. It was not that easy as I assumed to buy a home with Lennar, very poor and little cooperation from seller and especially the mortgage team.Due to the unavailability of the Mortgage person i had to go with higher rate of interest. Very little information was provided on house construction status and have refused to change closing date to 2 days before due to my availability. Apart from it I have referred 5 of my friends who bought the house and no referral bonus was provided. The issues addressed during the orientation were not even addressed. Overall it was a bad experience.

Concrete sidewalk poured 2 hours before heavy rain. Sod not staked down and all moved during rain. Dead tree planted in backyard. Ants everywhere inside. No one from Lennar cares to make it right.

So the sales process is very easy. Great mortgage rate towards the closing costs. Now here is where it goes sideways. We had a leak in the laundry room, all a Lennar issue. Took them 6 weeks to deal with it and it is still not fixed. Tiling issue in the kitchen, not yet resolved. Would I buy again, no, this is not a good company and the price reflects that they cut corners everywhere!!!!

No one acted like resolving the punch list was their job

Once items were not resolved on the punch list we were passed to many different individuals and did not appear it was any one specific individual's job to resolve the house to get us to close. Do not recommend the mortgage team for the same reason. I would not purchase through Lennar again based on this experience.
