It seems like there was a rush to build these homes and to sell them as quickly as possible. Doors are rough and not smooth from bad spray paint job. Trim and molding are rough and bumpy from poor paint job. Wood chips in doors, window sills, and trim that looks like were patched up and painted over without primer so easily distinguishable from the original paint. Dried up paint on glass windows and hardware. Cabinets had scratches and chips. Dried up paint spots on carpet. Just poor attention to detail for a home that costs over half a million dollars.

We really like our house overall. As with any large builder, we continue to find examples of shoddy workmanship and sloppy trim work. Our biggest issue was the fact we specifically asked about hardwoods on the entire first floor of the house and were told the house we were looking at would have hardwoods on the entire first floor. Upon flooring being installed carpet was placed in the guest bedroom, and the builder said that was the spec for the house. This is a small room and would have been a very simple and cheap fix for Lennar, but they simply do not care.

My home buying process was a complete nightmare. Initially the process was quite easy, but as we were getting closer to close escrow, there were a LOT of mistakes made on Lennar's end, lack of communication, and extremely inefficient. The quality of materials used was not the best, and the workmanship was poor. Even when I caught issues that needed to be fixed during the walkthrough, there were several items that were never fixed and I either had to fix them myself or go through the complaint process which prolonged even more. I would not recommend Lennar to purchase a home.

Our condo was completed in less than a year which we were pleased with. What I'm not so pleased with is we were left with broken bi-fold doors, a dishwasher and garbage disposal that hasn't worked since day one and still isn't working. Our outside storage unit wouldn't lock with the keys that we were provided so our outdoor stuff could have been stolen while we waited more than a month for it to be re-keyed. We also weren't pleased with the follow up from our sales rep, he was very unresponsive throughout the process. We have put in trouble tickets to fix the problems that are listed ...

The home buying experience with Lennar was not great. We were left to ourselves for pretty much the entire process. On our orientation our Lennar Representative was kind and provided a lot of information but we were never welcomed on site to receive our keys. We were told to just pick up the keys in the lockbox outside our house. It was very impersonal. We did not feel cared or valued. To make matters worse, we have struggled with appliances, paint, carpet issues, and dry wall. The sales person was very good at selling/pushing the place. But I was not pleased at the amount of dishonesty that occurred during the entire process. From being dishonest about when closing would be, I to nobody showing up at my walk-through, to the change in my loan, type at the end of the process, All the way to several warranty items that have still not been completed. I.

It is a beautiful house but it’s so cheaply made. The house was slapped together and I am spending 20+k on making things right. They don’t even seal tile, grout, or fencing. Paint job was terrible. Garage is unfinished. Have had recalled parts in our new house already. Hard to get anyone to respond and they act like concerns are an over reaction. Tell us those are minor things (yet those minor things cost a ton of money to fix and should be correct the first time when you’re paying 500k-1million+ for a house. Over all not worth the prices. Overpriced but mediocre materials used in construction and very bad responsiveness to issues. Cabinet fixtures are not built properly, the Carpets have nails poking out and the bathroom showers have scratches all over during construction.

Our project manager was great! However, the quality of craftsmanship by the trades, attention to detail, incomplete punch list even two months after closing, integrity, and timeliness of communication were unsatisfactory. We have a front door that needs to be replaced, a few broken cabinets, and a few other aesthetic things that need to still be fixed.

Homebuying process was simple if somewhat rushed. The biggest issue is the lack of noise abatement between our home and the home below us. We can hear every footstep from the unit below us. This is unacceptable and Lennar does not seem to care since we now own it.

House toom way longer than we were told it would and even still was convinced to close before the home was ready. And no notice was given when it came to telling us the house still isn't ready. Tile floors seem like the aren't sealed and have spots all over that one clean off, face plates are crooked. Everything just seems rushed and not done well.

Several items were pending by the time I signed, they promised that they will take care of those items pretty quick. Since then I haven't hear from them at all and I have been living here for 2 months now. I guess I will have to submit all those as warranty problems. Very Unhappy.

Our new home certainly wasn’t ready to close on closing the date, but we we’re forced to close anyway to avoid penalties. Most of the issues were looked after eventually, but here we are 5 months later and we’re still missing cabinets. Ever day I shake my head at our situation. House quality and workmanship is acceptable for this kind of budget houses, but the financial and title teams sucks. Even though there was plenty of time to get ready for the closing day, as the house was being constructed, they were still asking for info to get the loan just around a week before the closing. Consequently the closing final amount keep changing up to the day of closing creating some unexpected hassles that day. Very disappointing feeling for a well known company as Lennar.

Sales agent provided misleading information. Sales team anf financial team used alot of buyer intimidation tactics. Repairs were not made from final walk through 45 days after being in the home. Home was not cleaned good for final walk through and move in. Craftsmanship of wotk is very sloppy. No pride in work.
