Overall great customs service. Workmanship can improve.

Overall very easy and straightforward buying process. One big downside is that we were not well informed before we bought this house that there would be more houses being built at the back of our house and the green space with tall trees will all be cut, which is a huge deal for us because that was the most important reason why we bought this house in the first place. We were given a chance to back out the deal at the day before closing and we had been waiting for the house to be built for 4months. Are you kidding me? we wasted all this time to go out and find a dream house and we could easily have gotten a much lower mortgage rate. Now you tell me this???? I felt cheated out of this deal and had no way out and to close on time..... No compensation??? I wish I had been informed about this before I made the decision. ... More

Builder is professional and care about the customer. Their customer service does follow through with you and your concerns.

The home buying experience and the quality of the construction itself are amazing. We have a bitter taste in our mouths because a slew of items weren’t done properly or just are still incomplete. I am thankful for Cory and Brooklyn coming today on a warranty issue (missing door pin) so that I could address and have some items fixed on the spot. Ready to be done with all of this so that we can enjoy our lives again and not have to keep meeting with contractors to fix bits and pieces.

Representatives are very responsive for the most part. Easy for us to drop by and check on house during process. Stuff does get hidden or rushed during build. Pieces of 2x4 split or broken thatbgot covered or up or just tossed away in the attic. Vinyl flooring lifting and glue left everywhere. Glue left on walls. Caulking is very poor on countertops. Exterior has many small issues as well. Dinged siding, bent trim. Paint on shingles. Door ways have air gaps. The worst so far is the yard work. The grading was not dont correctly. My fromt yard sunk by over 1 foot and split after rain. Yard is pulling away from the home foundation. The people of lennar are very nice. The contractors on the other hand are not putting quality onto their work. They rush everything they do. ... More

Excellent buying experience with Lennar and the closing agency.

The sales process was easy. Lennar mortgage needs improvement. So many repetitive disclosures and multiple times submitting documents when they are clearly on the site. Then, we didn't have the scheduled walk-though at stud stage and another later before the two week before closing walk-through. It was noted that Lennar doesn't like to close a house at this stage of the build but they pushed ahead anyway. The anxiety of not being able to close since there were no appliances until the day before closing was enormous. I don't know why you bother putting appliances in that are low grade and not let the buyer choose. There are several items that were not finished before I took possession that are on "the list". We'll see how responsive Lennar is at this stage. Mostly, the experience was not horrible. It could use some improvement. ... More

Some things was not explained about what was not included in the house when I first toured the house. I did not know there was no doorbell or garage opener.

We love everything about our home and the people who made it all happen. But when it came to issues we found and needed fixing it either went unanswered or took a VERY long time to get responses unless I kept pushing. Still haven’t heard anything about our grass when we first moved it.. it was leaking from the neighbors side into ours and our grass never took before winter so when it comes time our grass will look horrible.. sent numerous messages and never got answers..

My Lennar realtors Gina and Cathy where amazing to work with. They really help me through the whole process and contacted me in a timely manner any time I had questions or concerns. Tara my Lennar lender was also great and very helpful. the over all home is wonderful and I am very happy, my biggest disappointment is the paint quality I was told it was going to be Satin but its egg shell an nothing wipes off the walls. its very frustrating building a new home and already need to paint so it will hold up longer over the years and be easier to maintain. I have had to have several other small things fixed and the contractor and team where great to work with. ... More

We are very pleased with Lennar for the price, care and the service they are providing for their customers.

Mortgage/ home buying process was great. Did have some issues upon moving in that I am having issues getting resolved.

Our slab is so uneven that you can feel yourself walking up and down as you walk through. The trim work is terrible. Paint all over everything.

To make sure the house is 100 % done before move in

We chose Lennar because of their reputation. I never owned a Lennar home before. My last few home have been new builds with DR Horton, Ryan and now Lennar. Overall the home is nice, I believe the craftsmanship could be better, drafts around winds and doors, drywall dust everywhere, paint splashes all over the tile and flooring. When you pay $400,000 for a home you expect better, especially a brand new home. The customer service could be better also, when you are in the home buying process everyone is your friend and wants to help, but once you get the keys after closing it's hard to get responses and help. I never received my HOA docs until a week after closing and I thought by law you are suppose to receive them a week before closing to review. So things like that, I didn't like. Lennar has been in the business for many years so amateur mistakes like that should never happen. If you are going to buy a Lennar home, keep notes and stay on them to get answers and results, especially HOA related issues and documents. I think they are getting to big for their britches and the customer service has paid the price! ... More

The house look good but the problem is about the garantie for one year but there’s a something I need they come for review on my garage on the rolls is very important thing for me ok

Our overall experience with Lennar has been good. We are very disappointed in their choice of materials for the faux stone on the exterior which didn’t allow application of the stone per architectural drawings. They left a 5” gap at the bottom leaving exposed foundation. We are also disappointed that the vanities they chose in the bathrooms have no drawers. Extremely inconvenient. We closed in October and still have 5 incomplete items from our punch list. Make sure everything is completed before you close.

Overall I had a great buying experience. The issue I had was encountered after move in. My home has no heat because the heater wasn’t working and we went a few days with no heat until I went and purchased heaters for the house.

Love the design. Lennar should Pay more attention to details. Sales office very helpful.

Overall, I am pleased with our new home, but as the months have passed everything cannot be blamed on a house settling. More attention or better materials need to be used on the steps. We have to repair the materials used to seal the sides of the steps. It almost looks like cracked caulking all the way up from level to level. I am not happy about that and it is an eye soar!

There’s no quality control a lot of defect needed to repair after moving in, materials that were use are not consistent with other homes within the community, no feedback from construction manager when questions were ask about the house.

The buying process was smooth. The after we bought it oart has been a joke. No shows for fixes. Things not being completed when they were supposed. Horrible communication.

I absolutely love my home. As the house settle I am starting to see a lot of things that needs to be repaired. When I put a request in for service the customer rep responds in an appropriate time frame but the contractor takes for ever to come out and fix the issue. I have been in my home now for about 45 days and it is a little frustrating to have to constantly reach out to customer service to send someone in to correct the issue. I paid to much money not to have quality workmanship.
