Be proactive during the walk through and final steps prior to closing. Issues during the final walk through were resolved but not without additional personal intervention. HOA is EXTREMELY slow to respond to requests.

We are very happy with the home we purchased. We are now in the process of making it our home. They build the basic home that is wonderful to build upon and make it a special place and not a like cookie cutter home. But I have to admit, you will laugh out of control when you see the 2x2 patio they give you.

Overall, it was a good buying experience and the home itself and community are great. However, there were a few areas for improvement: (1) Our home was ready for occupancy on closing day, but was very dirty and was never cleaned. There was drywall dust on the top of doorframes, window sills and the refrigerator. The floors were filthy. (2) Many of the items noted in our pre-closing walkthrough were not completed before occupancy. (3) There seem to be a lot of warranty issues so far, which is a worry for the future, Also, the closing and mortgage processes were tedious, with the over reliance on Email's and customer portals and confirmation codes and so on. ... Overall happy with the home; after replacing the very cheap appliances. The cabinets are functional but lower quality and probably will need replacing at some point. Happy with the structure of the house and the layout; Lennar has been very responsive to any issues. I would avoid Lennar financing if at all possible; it was a nightmare trying to satisfy all of their massive documentation requirements and felt like a part time job.

Could have been offered blinds or a fireplace. Living on a slab is cold!

I bought a Lennar townhome at the end of November 2025. I absolutely love the layout, size and location in the neighborhood. I got a great deal considering it is a spec home, so everything is included. Have only lived in it for a couple months so nothing negative to report. Hopefully won't ever have anything negative to report. It's a brand new construction, so everything is good right now.

The building manager, Noe, for our area in Corpus Christi has been phenomenal since we did our walk through. He has gone out of his way multiple times to see if we needed help with anything or just checking in to see how our home is doing. Any issue I have brought up was immediately addressed and corrected. He makes sure the entire area stays as clean as possible even though our entire area is under construction. He has been very professional.

I am satisfied with the overall buying process; however, since moving in we have noticed several issues with appliances not functioning properly. More recently, significant cracks have begun to appear in the corners of multiple rooms. There are also cracks in the stucco, and in some areas pieces of stucco have fallen off. I am unsure whether these issues are considered normal settling or if they indicate poor workmanship or material quality.

We were very pleased with the purchasing process. The financial people were very helpful and responsive. The quality of the workmanship is a b+. We have had nothing but trouble trying to get the solar operational. The company they have turned it over to, never returns phone calls or emails. Other than a few warranty issues that have hopefully been resolved, we're very happy with the purchase. They have been doing a lot of work on the landscaping, and it looks very nice.

love my new home only major problem is flow of heat through home. not even flow colder in other areas. use better quality carpet.

We had several minor issues that were corrected quickly. I grew up in Pa. and moved to NC. 10 years ago. Drywall finishing in the south is very poorly done. I'm guessing part of the problem is the rush to finish. It makes no sense to me that the garages are not painted. That could be done in less than 2 hours. Sales people were awesome. Very professional and helpful. Grass was put down in late October and were told there is no warranty on that. Pine straw is messy and blows around and we replaced that with mulch during Christmas week.

The homebuying process was smooth with Lennar.

I started looking for my perfect single level home with no backyard neighbors in June 2024. I met Mechelle at the Lebanon, OR development but that didn't have what i was looking for. She would contact me about every quarter for the update on construction starts in Albany which lot would meet that criteria. In July, 2025 one became available. She was moved to a different Lennar site before I would be able to make an offer on that lot and turned my information over to sales agent Aaron. He was wonderful to work with but if it hadn't been for Mechelle and her contacts to keep me posted, this sale would not have happened. ... More

My first time looking at the 55+, I was very impressed. My salesman John Malone was patient with me since I was just looking and not ready to purchase. He checked in with me every few months to see where I was at with purchasing a home. When I was ready, he showed me the inventory that was available and I went to closing within a month. It was a great experience for me and I would not hesitate to refer others to him.

Closing on the house was confusing, we were given no updates until about a week before the closing when WE finally contacted Lennar and asked what was going on. The program the closing office was using to electronically sign didn't work, and they had to switch to a different program which stressed me out on a very busy day for me at work. The office we went to to pick up the keys was disorganized and very crowded with many people all trying to close. We were also disappointed that Lennar has cut out some basic components to the house, garage door opener, towel bars and toilet paper holders etc, making us have to track down and install them ourselves. Lennar's slogan used to be "everything's included", I guess not anymore. Also one month after purchasing the home, the hot water heater died. Warranty service sent a plumber out the same day, who said there was a loose wire, but he didn't say where the wire was. The manufacturer of the heater? At the circuit breaker? We love the home and the process and were surprised at the upgrades offered at an affordable cost. Walk through was easy and things were taken care of quickly however we are finding trade debris we missed (caulk and mortar in weird places). We also feel that sales is not informed of potential land and construction issues. In the days of work from home, we need internet and the lack of empathy or help from sales lacked when we discovered the lines were not completed at the street and hit the run around. I didn’t appreciate being pinned in the middle.

Wonderful incentives for new home 1st time buyer. Love the.new.home! Will definitely choose Lennar again!

Some things are not of good quality.

The house have a good potential to became your confortable zone in whiche you can relax and enjoy the quiet and the view. But you need to work hard until you reach your ideal project. There are only the basic items and needs a lot of upgrade fetures in order to become a well funtional home. Be prepare to add a list 20 thousands dallars to complete all the necessary items missing or improvments needed. But the house is worted the money you will spend on it.

Lots of issues with Internet For people that work from home.

We love the way the Trestlewood Community is set-up with a private park at your from porch and all the auto traffic taking place behind the home where the garages are located. Our experience with Lennar was mostly good however there were some inconsistencies with the support. The layout of the floor plan is very good but some the lower price comes with some cheaper materials and fewer amenities than you would get with a local versus national builder.

All I all good workmanship is ok getting response back on my issues good just waiting for issues to b addressed people were nice to speak to and understanding.

Overall I love my new home. I wish you could work with one person throughout the whole process within Lennar, but instead you have to deal with a different person for literally everything, then try to remember who to talk to when you have a question. Way too confusing. Thank goodness I worked with my own realtor to assist me or I would have left the process without a new home here. I also wish they didn’t use the cheapest material to finish the house. No input or customizing allowed. Alli wanted were ceiling fans. My appraisal clearly noted they were included, but that was an error! No fans. Since there are no windows downstairs in the townhome it’s extremely stuffy really quick. Now that I’ve been in my home for two months I know there are things that should have been done and will eventually need upgraded. It was my first home buying process so I guess I learned. ... More
