We had a very long drawn out purchasing experience through the loan application, both the FHA and Lennar’s conventional loan people. They were very impatient when they wanted information but otherwise slow in keeping us informed as to what was happening. They asked for information that was none of their business and eventually told me that if I did not give them the information that the loan would not be approved. This process took weeks. From the start the buying process was terrible. It took up until closing to know if we were good to go for the loan from lennar mortgage. We were originally scheduled for a walk through the beginning of May. When we drove 4 hours for a 9am walk through, we were notified on site at the house that the walk through was moved. No one communicated this with us. The only formal documentation was sent 24 hours after our walk through. Do not trust the settlement contact to reach out to you. Hire home inspection before closing

Lennar charge 2% of the sale price for not closing in time. If you live out of State, Making sure communicate directly to Title Dept that you need mobile closing. Dont trust the Sale agent. I paid $4800 for this matter. It was a trap!

Everything was great except the sales rep Bryan. He doesn't return calls very unprofessional. He was the only downside of the process. He was not there when I closed they had to call someone else to give me my keys which took an hour. It is once he received my deposit he turns cold. Even when I first applied he didn't return calls to follow up. Thankful for the loan officer and others but the sales staff should be replaced. I would not recommend anyone to purchase based on his professionalism but everything was great

The selling agent, lacked experience , Kept changes the deal. Negotiating with texting and should stuck with email so I have a track of any changes. Thanks to the manager Penny who was able to take over and close the deal.

I found it extremely frustrating that the walk thru time is dictated by lennar and not the buyer. I asked them to send me a calendar invite and was told " we don't do that". My experience with david weeklyvwas amazing and they worked with the buyer. Lennar has a very military like feel to the home buying experience. Bitter Sweet Experience

Bought a new home for my mother. Nice house but appraisal was far below the list price causing me to have to Mortgage insurance. The Mortgage company was horrible to deal with. Lied at every turn. Had to use an outside lender to get the deal done. Would never work with Lennar Mortgage company. Had a few cosmetic issues with the house that were fixed immediately.

Cheap materials in everything cabnets the paint horrible finish work from the workers I can't even imagine the inside the walls or areas un able to see. Everything is the cheapest materials you can buy. Lennar is top leaders supposedly, so unfortunately that they use the cheapest quality and the houses are not the same price as the cheap crap they use.

Overall, my wife and I love our new home. But buyer beware, the sheetrock, painting and trim work sucks. Never realized we had to get our own garage door opener. Was told garage was paint ready, it's not. it's primer ready at best. Between giving first and second deposit, garage floor developed cracks. Was told it was within Lennar's tolerances, lol. Over all not great home buying experience. Customer service wasn’t great during purchase time. There was not much support in choosing option. Was rushed into everything. Home built is good but experience through out the process is very unfriendly. They just want to build home like factory and no respect or care for someone’s expectations and feelings who is spending 100s of thousands of dollars.

I purchased my home by the help of a virtual assistant (young eyes) and showed it was spacious, had a nice yard and the price range was good, but little did I know after moving, that this home was not meant for seniors/retirees due to the fact in order to replace the a/c filter you would need to pull down a step ladder, adjust it to secure it’s locked then climb up to the attic in order to replace the a/c filter. Although Lennar is not a bad builder and i love the home the home buying process was poor. There were five different people I was to communicate with and it was confusing the purpose of each persons job. When I explained this they were not helpful and did not improve the process. We had a positive experience with our salesman and patiently waited several months as the finish date was delayed over and over again. Lennar’s fiscal year ends end of November. The house itself is nice and a good value for the money. The process of buying the house from the mortgage lender all the way through the celebration and acceptance had MUCH to be desired. Issues riddled throughout the entire process. Warranty claims had to be reopened because they were incorrectly denied. Just ok customer service from the entire staff, terrible service from their Lennar Mortgage though. I used to trust Lennar a lot, this was my 5th prop with them and never had these issues of poor customer service and hidden fees in mortgage and delays but this time it was not worth it. I only give less stars because of customer service, their people interactions and Lennar mortgage. Value for money and quality of house is good and there are no hidden surprises in cost and delivery.

Upon final walk through house was not cleaned nor was it ready for the walk. Paint on all floors especially in carpeted areas. Multiple times said it was clean and wasn’t. Disappointed in finish out. Caulking looks like play dough was formed to fit. Marnina was excellent to work with Robert… not so much.
