BIGGEST ISSUE: WE WERE ALLOWED TO MOVE IN AND BE IN THE HOUSE FOR OVER A MONTH AND LENNAR NEVER GOT OUR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY COMPLETED UNTIL THEN.. Our problems started out with to many people trying to be involved but none of them talking to each other. A lot of blaming between departments and no solutions made was very frustrating. There was a major delay for final inspections for some reason and 5 days before we were to sign on our house was the first "blue tape" walk through which means construction only had a day and a half to fix everything that was listed. Finally we sign. A week after that, construction comes by because they never did the inspection testing on the A/C system and that was suppose to be done prior to closing. The guy does the testing and a week later we find out that they somehow lost all the paperwork for the test and the inspector was already back in Dallas, so here we go again with another person in our house testing the system (3 weeks after closing and moving in). We had to put a lock on our back gate because random contractors were bring tractors into our back yard but never letting us know that they were there or why they were. Keep in mind, we had been living in the house for 2 weeks at that point. A month and a half into living in the home, we needed to file a warranty report for the back door as it wasn't sealed properly and allowed water to come into the house (I will give the warranty department credit, they came and fixed it with in 48 hours). Now onto the grass. They laid sod a couple weeks after being in the home. A 3 foot by 50 foot section in the backyard never took. It died almost immediately after being put in even with watering it twice a day. We have complained several times about it and the only explanation that we are given is to just keep watering it and hope for the best. No one wants to accept responsibility and fix what should have been fixed prior to moving in and all departments want to put all blame elsewhere. ... More

Our experience overall was not the best. Aaron from the mortgage said was not easy to work with and we had several issues. Susan was great and so was the construction team.

I had a great closing experience. The process was quick and trouble-free. No delays or time lost, all t’s were crossed and i’s dotted.

A lot of trouble with the paperwork at first, but after that things went very smoothly

I have only great things to say about the whole Lennar team. They were excellent, knowledgeable, always super responsive and I had an amazing experience with them! I would most definitely recommend them to anyone who is a potential home buyer!

Thr service was very good. Issues were resolved and we were happy with it. Dominique is always trying to do his best and found way to help the homeowner!

Sometimes there are things that change without a communication

Home has very low quality equipment in it. Hood system in home doesn’t match the range size. All doors don’t close properly. Doors always stay propped open. You always feel a draft of air going through the house.

The only trouble I had was with the technology and computer experience. Sorry it was difficult for someone who did not grow up on computers.

The home buying process was smooth and well-organized. My agent, Michael was knowledgeable, responsive, and guided me every step of the way. From getting pre-approved to closing day, everything went as planned. Since closing, any issues we've encountered have been promptly addressed by Lennar, and they've been helpful in getting things resolved. My family and I are so happy with our new home!

Brandy was great to work with. I was looking at a Horton home. And figured out the Horton home was going to be over 40,000 more I’ve done about $10,000 worth of upgrades but wouldn’t trade my house for the Horton house and also I love the development the pool area and play area which I don’t know is I’ll use much is absolutely gorgeous. You won’t be disappointed moving here.

I thought buying a house was going to be a big process, stress and so much more. I’m glad I was wrong or at least that’s how my realtor, lender and Lennar made it seem for me and as a single parent I’m so grateful for them. Overall the buying process was great! Only down side is they are building 2 story houses behind us on a higher ground level where they can see everything towards my home literally window to window. you would think they would build single story homes instead and leave the 2 story homes for the other side of the street for a little more privacy or make you aware of future plans before the purchase. ... Each level of the process was prompt and professional. Being the purchase was from out of state we relied a lot on each member of the Lennar team at each phase of construction. Communication was informative and when questions arose each team responded timely addressing them. Post closing service team addressed our punch list timely too! Overall, a great home buying experience!

The purchasing experience was smooth and organized. My only issue is the amount of registering required for each Mirada association after purchase. This is my second Lennar home. I would recommend Lennar if you are looking to purchase a new home.

It's ok, and they could have given bigger incentives.

Everyone was wonderful except the mortgage side. No communication blamed me for all the problems asked repeatedly for items they already had rude to me my gpa my attorney horrible stressful experience with the mortgage company

LOVE: 1. The floor plan and size 2. The screened porch 3. The absence of a garden tub in the master 4. The bench in the master bath shower 5. The linen closet in the master bath 6. The size of all the rooms, very spacious 7. The loft/flex space on the second floor 8. The layout of the neighborhood, plenty of distance from neighbors 9. The walking trails are wonderful 10. The tray ceiling in the master bedroom Do not love: 1. No peephole on front door or other way to see who is at the front door, forcing me to use Ring, which I despise and don’t want to pay for. 2. Finishes and fixtures look and feel cheap and flimsy 3. Having to install my own blinds has been a much bigger headache and expense than anticipated. I asked for blinds before purchasing and was told no. 4. I really hate the glass door to the screened porch. It makes me feel very unsafe and I wish I could have chosen a different door. Replacing it has been expensive and difficult. 5. Unclear communication about warranties. 6. No hand towel racks installed in the second floor bathrooms. Not expensive or difficult to install myself but feels cheap to have omitted them. Overall, I don’t know if I would have bought the house knowing what I know now. It was the best option for the price at the time. I really like the house overall, but the fixtures/finishes, back door, blinds, and Ring (and not having options) are reasons I would not recommend Lennar. ... More

Working through the Mortgage process was excellent. The people at Lennar Mortgage basically walked me through everything including the closing. It was very easy, thank you Lennar!

Matt was very helpful during the entre process.

The whole team was quite attentive minus the Lennar Sales Concierge, calls or emails were almost ever returned. I was unsure what this role entailed as there was no assistance in that matter. The lender side was extremely responsive and attentive, quick as well.

All Lennar staff we interacted with were helpful and professional.

The Sales person Iolanda is amazing she is definitely making a difference at Lennar.

The entire process with Lennar was very poor. Minimal communication and unresponsive. The best part of the process was communication and follow through with Lennar Mortgage, Ali was outstanding!

Buying process and moving in was smooth Unfortunately a week or two upon moving the dishwasher started leaking which cause a lot of damage on the surrounding cabinets and flooring. Lennar team was quick to assess the situation and provide solutions. However the new parts needed takes time to arrive so we dont have a kitchen for more than two weeks now. Hopefully once parts arrive it will be seamless process moving forward.
