The people who helped us with this house were amazing! Especially Nancy our sales person!

Everyone we dealt with at Lennar (and their associated companies - Lennar Insurance, Lennar Mortgage, etc.) were very easy to deal with. Their sales people were not pushy, and everyone was responsive to any little is*****s that came up.

The whole process was great! Amazing people to work with!

Our new Lennar home is gorgeous and we couldn’t be happier with the agent (*****) and the *****. Everyone mentioned was very professional and made the experience really confortable.

My experience with Lennar Mortgage and the entire Lennar team was outstanding from start to finish. As a first-time homebuyer, I had many questions and a few obstacles along the way, but everyone involved guided me through every step with professionalism, patience, and clear communication. Even when additional documents were needed during underwriting, they kept me informed and worked diligently to keep my loan moving forward. A special thank you to my loan officer, *****, and my loan processor, *****, for their exceptional service. ***** was always available to answer my questions, explain the process, and provide reassurance every step of the way. Cindy was incredibly attentive, prompt, organized, and thorough. Her dedication and responsiveness made what could have been a stressful process feel much more manageable. I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to *****, the construction supervisor. ***** was absolutely amazing throughout the entire building and walkthrough process. Whenever I had questions or noticed something that needed attention, he responded quickly, listened to my concerns, and made sure every item was addressed. He genuinely cared about delivering a quality home and never made me feel like my questions or requests were an inconvenience. His professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction gave me complete confidence that my home was being built and finished with care. Thanks to the dedication of this incredible team, I was able to close on my very first home with a great interest rate, valuable incentives, and a beautiful home that I am truly proud of. The builder was very responsive. My loan package through Lennar wasn’t provided in a timely manner. The 3-4 hour delay impacted my buying experience. Within 1 month, I also had to make a warranty claim for a Sod repair.

Service

Missing mail key with no communication from Lennar. Overspray paint on windows, trim floor. Instead of cutting tile to fit- used caulk to fill gaps. ***** is left on everything in chunks. Clearly missed painted doors, walls. Grass was dead and we were given the project managers word that he would resolve if it didn’t grow. I choose to fix all of these is*****s myself. The dishwasher installed is a joke - we replaced it immediately. Trees planted in back yard are about 10 feet on the outside of our property line.

Horrible communication between different roles: sales, construction, and buyer

I had many is*****s, it's a new build, fine it happens. What is unacceptable is the lack of communication, and unwillingness to remedy major is*****s correctly without a major fight. In the warranty claim chain, you talk to someone in a call center who basically has no ability to escalate anything, and you're at the mercy of the construction manager assigned to your case. If the customer sevice rep and construction manager don't care to do a good job for the customer, the customer is basically iced out, and is forced to call the emergency line ten times over the course of three weeks until the customer talks to the same person at the call center so many times they email the division president, then suddenly people can manage to return a phone call. It's clear the warranty chain has gaps in oversight and accountability, resulting in angry customers such as myself. At this point, I am a walking billboard to avoid Lennar. Had I received professional and timely communication, my experience would be "There were hiccups, but they took care of me without hassle." Instead, it's "I had to spend $500 on a civil engineer and almost 15 hours on the phone to get my is*****s resolved." ... More

Review I became aware of a new community being built in the ***** area by the power of social media and algorithms. I immediately fell in awe with one of their floor designs and decided to personally visit this community. I arrived with no appointment and the experience was amazing. They explained Lennar’s model: homes built in a fast pace and no room for modifications. It sounded perfect and terrifying. However, I loved that particular floor plan. Price was decent considering the current housing market prices and the promise of everything that will be built in that area and its location. So, after thorough thought and weighing in benefits and risks, I decided to proceed with the purchase. After signing and issuing my first deposit, I would never hear back from that seller. When I decided to ask a further simple question regarding the home design and style, it took hours to get that information. Furthermore, I was assigned a concierge that would act as the point of contact during the building process. Barely we communicated and when we did, it always gave the impression that I was bothering. When it came to inspections, there was always misinformation and miscommunication. However, at the final inspection the quality and construction manager were very informative and showed disposition to help if anything arose after closing. That obviously never happened. They never showed up after inquiring on is*****s that were identified after the first weeks of moving into the property. During the closing stage it was uncomfortable experience. The demeanor and attitude of the closing personnel was rude and unprofessional. At this point I just wanted to sign and my home keys; no silly picture to be tagged for their social media images. Never again I would do any home purchase from Lennar. Throughout all this process you feel voiceless and with no options. It feels as if they’re doing a favor to you. If you’re ok with this style of service, then Lennar should be your first choice. Otherwise, there are plenty of homebuilders in the area. ... More

Bad

This is the second Lennar home that my husband and I have purchased and so far we are unfortunately pretty disappointed. We have had so much water come into our home from lack of workmanship and/or quality, our carpet throughout the whole house you can literally feel and see the garbage and junk over the carpet that was never cleaned prior to the carpet being laid out, the wood at the top of our stairs was chipped pretty bad and we were told not to worry because those were temporary stairs but nope, you can still see and feel where those big chips were and the carpet was laid right over it without it being fixed, anywhere that the carpet connects to hard flooring the tack strip pokes out all the time which they say its normal but its not, its just low quality and unfortunately for us cuts our kids feet or knees/legs if they are playing on the floor and go over it, our basement flooded because our pump gave out (we closed not even two months ago) and when we had to replace the pump that was in there was completely rusted and looked years old not like something that was supposed to be only a few months old.. the manufacturer date is two years old so it either sat somewhere for a long time or got pulled from another home and put in ours, our back door wasn’t sealed properly and has let in gallons of water. Writing all of this truly makes me sad because prior to closing on this home we had people warning us and we stood up for the company itself because of the experience we had with our first home but now that we are in this one I can truly say that the quality and care of craftsmanship is nonexistent. Lennar as a whole needs to go back to caring about what they are putting out and the quality of their work instead of how much money is going directly into their pockets. Very good to explain all details with every step of the way. Everyone was very easy to talk with kept me updated on what to expect. Couldn’t ask for better.

This builder doesn’t seem like they worked well with the city, services providers, or *****. I was provided most the ***** information at the very end of escrow right before closing. This information should be provided at the time of offer. It seems very ***** to be in the process and get the all the rules right before closing and being told misinformation from the sales office. The ***** is not easy to work with at all. The builder has told me I can do things and the ***** actually needs to approve it first. The builder has been responsive with repairs however some of the things needing repair are apparently not there responsibility like a broken refrigerator drawer. Although that’s how it came, I should have looked closer during the walk thru. Also they won’t repair cracks in the garage concrete until it’s a specific width. So just know you are getting a house that will need repairs and you will have to be available for them to be made. I had cabinet shelves I couldn’t adjust and come to find out I have some in another cabinet that aren’t even *****. I had a leak in the 1/2 bathroom early on and I have concerns about the plumbing overall. The air conditioner unit they installed is the loudest I’ve ever experienced, not sure if it’s just that manufacturer but the builder did not use any high quality material. For services it took more than a month to get garbage service, I still don’t have a mailbox key or access to mail at the property, I have to go to the post office and the property address is not updated on any maps. Lastly the solar service they have contracted with is horrible and not responsive so trying to get the service turned on is a nightmare. Be prepared to spend a lot of extra time on things they could have done to make the transition so much easier. ... More

An overall good experience in our 1st home purchase.

As a real estate investor, I have purchased several homes over the years, and without question, my experience with Lennar has been the worst home-buying experience I have ever had. This was a cash purchase, which should have made the transaction simple and efficient. Instead, it turned into a frustrating, stressful, and completely disorganized process from beginning to end. Communication was absolutely terrible. We were never given any flexibility when scheduling our walkthrough or closing. Instead of receiving updates, we had to constantly chase people for basic information. We sent countless emails, yet most went unanswered or received a single delayed response. It was clear that keeping customers informed was not a priority. The worst part of the experience was dealing with *****. She was by far the least responsive and least helpful person we communicated with throughout the entire process. Instead of making the experience easier, she added to the frustration with poor communication, lack of follow-up, and little concern for customer service. The closing process was equally unacceptable. As a cash buyer purchasing a home at this price point, knowing the final closing amount in advance is essential so certified funds can be prepared. Despite requesting the final figures multiple times, ***** ***** failed to provide the information until the day before closing. This unnecessary delay created avoidable stress and confusion. To make matters worse, he did not even attend the closing to complete the signing process. The overall impression was that once Lennar had secured the sale, customer service completely disappeared. We felt like we were begging for information every step of the way instead of being treated as valued customers making a major financial investment. Lennar proudly claims to treat customers like family, but our experience proved the exact opposite. We experienced poor communication, lack of accountability, and a complete disregard for the buyer's time and concerns. Lennar needs to seriously improve its customer service standards and hold its employees accountable. Representatives such as ***** and ***** should understand that buying a home is one of the largest financial decisions people make, and buyers deserve timely communication, professionalism, and respect. Because of this experience, I will never purchase another investment property from Lennar, and I will not recommend Lennar to friends, family, c*****nts, or fellow real estate investors. If I were ever forced to purchase another Lennar home, I would specifically request that neither Angelica Reyes nor ***** be involved in my transaction. This experience has permanently damaged my confidence in Lennar as a builder. The home may be new, but the buying experience was so poor that it overshadowed everything else. ... More

We were very apprehensive about purchasing a home given numerous concerns about pricing, history, and quality of the homes available in addition to the unknowns of the various areas. Compared to several other similar home options across the Treasure Valley, the Lennar home yielded the best bang for my buck addressing the pricing concerns. We went with a new home which addressed the history concerns. Lastly, we inspected the home and had a home inspector. With any potential concerns we raised, these were addressed by the Lennar team prior to purchasing. Post move-in, we raised some additional concerns which were quickly resolved. The Lennar team has delivered on their promise of pricing and quality! The results speak for themselves, and our family is very satisfied with our Lennar builder and new home! ... More

We are pleased with home workmanship. That said, we are not pleased with the response from Lennar regarding the condition of the sod on the property. During a walk thru on May 5 with project manager, we discussed the poor condition of sod. Up to 4 pieces were replaced and that was still not enough. I have a $115 water bill due, so I know it’s not for lack of watering dead sod. I asked Lennar repeatedly what they will do. This looks like neglect on your part because of when house was completed and watering was sparsely done. The company that installed the sod said it looked fine when they turned the watering over to Lennar. Are there any photos to prove that statement from sod company? This is a stand off of 2 companies passing the blame onto each other. And neither following up to solve my complaints. And in the meantime, this is the only lawn in this block that still look like dead straw no matter how much it’s been watered. Walking in the backyard feels like crunching thru straw! I’ve been in residence for nearly 2 months and the statement about Bermuda grass is NOT valid. This grass is dead according to my True Green expert when he came here in late May for a treatment. Customer service at this point just sucks and I seem to have no recourse. I would say no stars if your system would allow. Maybe a few posts on social media will produce some responses. This has been a bad experience and a big reason why I would tell my friends and family to avoid buying from Lennar. There are 2 many other high production builders to consider.
