I wish I could turn back time and wait on my close. Make sure you have everything complete before you sign. If Dillon is your construction manager, leave completely, he is not only incompetent, he is rude and unresponsive.

The experience is fine till you have bought the house. Their customer service is non-existent and getting warranty service is a hassle. The workmanship is not great either, it is livable but not worth the price.

The horrible treatment from the Title Office and the number of repairs and fixes required

I could not have been more disappointed in the treatment we received and the number of fixes and repairs required for a BRAND NEW HOUSE. The Lennar Title Office was absolutely horrible we were lied to repeatedly, just terrible.

Pushed through the process by Salesperson like cattle at the “sale call”. Home incomplete, pushed to sign off on multiple incomplete items. Financing process tedious beyond acceptable. Only bright spot of the process is the Superintendent in charge of “punch out” process is apparently the only person in the Corporate machine that cares!

Since moving in there has been one issue after another with our home, as well as the surrounding neighbors. (and I'm talking about some BIG health and safety hazard issues). We have had people constantly in our home fixing issues since we moved in which has been frustrating. Many of the fixed items have been done very sloppy. Some of the issues we were told weren't under warranty, so we are already having to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket for the extremely fast and sloppy work that is done with building these homes so quickly. Construction Team doesn’t care about the customer

The sales and finance teams were great, however, the construction team was far from it. It appears that they were on a mission to build our home as quickly as possible without consideration to quality or the customer. We went into the house every week that it was under construction. When we saw things that weren’t right or could be better, we notified our sales rep. He passed our thoughts or concerns to the construction team. We were passed from salesperson to sales person

We were passed from salesperson to salesperson, with pushy people and zero communication every step of the way, until there was money to be made. There are things that were never communicated, which we later had to deal with. Our salesperson was trying to get her name on our documents before a specific arbitrary date, so we had little time to review things, despite being legally allowed to do so. Very pushy and unapologetic. 2/10 would not recommend.

Completely disappointed. Especially with the yard! It's unusable! And we were told that it was a family friendly community, however, it's NOT! it's more for older people who don't have kids, as long as they don't want to use the back yards, as they are uneven so they're dangerousto walk on! We should have one assigned parking spot out front, but there's not enough parking for the owners and guests. Another thing is providing us with the cheapest possible appliances like the dishwasher... with that said, we were told everything is included, that was false. The refrigerator, washer and dryer ...

Be prepared for a lot of frustration

Lennar makes a beautiful home. I just wish i could enjoy it without the constant stress of things going wrong. From multiple leaks and cheap paint, to defective AC causing heat and high humidity. Uneven flooring, broken cabinets, half completed yard, plumbing was FULL of garbage that overflowed and flooded the first floor. The initial rep basically brushes things off and we had to call repeatedly to get things fixed. He was replaced and the new rep is far better. Now they fix things a lot faster but i just don't understand why there are so many things that need fixing in a new home. ...

Overall the home buying experience is good it's once you move in when it gets a bit tricky. Lots of finger pointing when things done get done and financial misinformation was given prior to the close. The companies chosen to do work, like lawn maintenance are not customer service friendly and there is no little to no communication from our point of contact with the HOA.

Poor Workmanship/materials drown out the great customer service. Elina (sales agent) was fantastic, upfront, overly accommodating, and honest. However, I feel like I bought a used house and paid new house pricing. Simple things such as light switches not aligning, cracked/ damaged tile used, tile alignment causes overhangs. I could already see drywall screws through mud and paint, chipped light fixtures, terrible caulking jobs. The list goes on and on. I am not happy with my purchase, and I made this clear to Lennar in other surveys. I am hoping they redeem themselves in the 1 year fix. ...

Although we closed on the expected closing date, the mortgage process could have been a lot smoother, poor communication. As a first time buyer I would say we love the house, only mishap was that we were expecting a step tray ceiling in the master bedroom and our home was built without, so again poor communication. Once moved in getting things repaired RIGHT has been nothing short of frustrating. The team I worked with included people in San Antonio and in Austin. The only person that did their job on time and checked on us to make sure everything was ok was Thomas G. Everyone else didn’t know how or where to do their job correct. Starting off with the loan advisor who always had to ask a manager to do anything, then he never sent us our paper work for closing so when it was time to close and we were almost keys in hand that were like we need more money from y’all! It was our first home buying experience, and I was hoping to enjoy it. Overall they did ok, but the mortgage part with constant postpones and delays was frustrating. Moreover, the construction manager was very irresponsible and would not fix stuff that we noted during the walkthrough.
