Poor Craftsmanship and Communication

Poor craftsmanship and low budget materials and design decisions. The sales team only cares about one thing; taking your money and the construction / install team do not take any pride in their work. The communication between all departments was terrible. They are all reactive and not proactive in more ways than one. If I had to do it all over again I would not buy a home with Lennar. I do not recommend this company and if know anyone considering in purchasing a home with Lennar I would advise them to reconsider.

The home loan experience was horrible with lennar. So many issues with the house after 60 days and still not resolved. Hopefully they will come and fix some issues soon. Some repairs are still waiting to get fixed and I’m sure they already forgot what ones. They told me after 30 days the painters will come in and do a touch up. Still have not seen them yet. My wife went and bought a bucket of paint to do our own touch ups. Not happy about that at all. Poor craftsman ship with the home in general.

In side Drywall filling is worse, we can able to hear the fan noise in bathroom from the attic. Even if the exhaust fan is on in any bathroom, we can able to hear the noice in Sittings area or in the Kitchen. Our Rented Apartment is much better in terms of privacy( we cannot hear the people chatting voice from one Bedroom to another.) I have asked the same with construction manager and he skipped to answer on this issue. Over, my experience with Lenner is worse.

A near million dollar home with endless issues.

Tom, New Home Consultant, was always communicated and was extremely helpful throughout the process. We raised issues during the build about things that were concerns to us, when we received the house the issues were not addressed/fixed. We now live in a house that the garage door opener does not work, the floor in the master bedroom has a creaking sound that can be heard downstairs and outside the room, a tube we cannot put our wires in for our tv because of the sharp turn and no rope installed for us, one stair on the basement stairs that is different material then the rest of the stairs, ...

It has not been a good experience. Prior to moving many issues were noted during walkthrough and not fixed. Over a month since I moved in and still complaining about things and some yet to be fixed

Everything started well, but there were issues at our 1st walk through that were never addressed. Windows and sliding doors were not aligned, chips in paint, chips n bath tub, chip in flooring. By second walk through things were still not fix Mark said check it off so you close and we will come fix any remaining issues…… Not the case the process to submit tickets is terrible and the follow up was worse. Project Manager Doesn’t manage- Poor workmanship

Beware of purchasing a home through Lennar. Unfortunately, the project manager does not manage their jobs. Contractors are getting away with crooked walls, drainage issues, poor workmanship, grading issues, etc. They will make excuses and not fix them. The project manager may even get in your face and try to threaten you. Poor purchasing experience! I will never purchase another Lennar home!

We’re misinformed by Lennar how Warranty works. Pit supervisor told us not to worry just moving three days after we move them. I told him that 75% of their repairs was never done and we would like him to send repair people to take care of the problems.. he’s answer was after you move in he cannot help us. We got to use the form from the website to let the repair people come in and start repairing a brand new house that was never billed, right

Horrible Communication from Construction Manager during closing

The house was not cleaned at all prior to closing, and we were promised that things would be fixed in the days after our closing. We still have not had anyone come to our house to touch up the damaged walls and paint issues. The concrete driveway has FOOTPRINTS on it from the construction workers, but Lennar says 'its within tolerance' so nothing will be done about PERMANENT FOOTPRINTS in our concrete driveway. Horrible experience and will never buy Lennar again. Also the sales agent Yatsi is among the worst sales agents we have ever dealth with. Totally clueless.

It. Has been a disappointing experience from sales, orientation, communication, follow through to correct. deficiencies in the house a landscaping. . I am guessing you have too few staff to provide the qualities you promise. The delays in getting to closing I.e. simple repairs and/or replacements made it extremely costly and frustrating arranging shipping, transport etc all of which was easily easiily solveable.

The first steps were great, signing contract and going through loan approval. The absolute worst part is walk through and closing. Lennar did a preliminary walkthrough with us and promised everything (and there was a lot) would be done by Final Walkthrough. Fun fact - final walk is scheduled 30 mins before closing. Needless to say, on closing/final walk day hardly anything was done. We were told by our Foreman Chris that it would ALL be done by the time we close. It was not …. make sure you are totally happy with all repairs before closing on house. very poor communication between builder and buyer. I will not buy another Lennar home.

We were forced to close on our new home, and the home was not complete. Lennar had our money, and we were closing virtually because we were located out of state. It was clear that the construction team had not completed the house and had no plans of delivering a finished product. They were pushing as much as they could on the warranty team. I have worked with other competing builders in the area and the Lennar experience was by far the worst I have seen. I'll be buying more homes in the area and most likely not from Lennar. I also won't be recommending Lennar to anyone else who asks me.

Third time’s a charm. If we hadn’t a realtor keeping us updated with weekly videos, we would have wasted two trips to Florida. The closing department and your contract ( I understand ) leaves little room for the customer. Our first closing walk through had no roof tiles delivered / installed, no brick pavers front and back, unfinished kitchen, no refrigerator, unfinished bathrooms, pool and of course no landscaping. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this home. My list of complaints is extensive. I have severe allergies and asthma. I spent $2,400.00 in the first month just to make the house livable. Drywall work was done in the master bedroom. The carpet was not covered and drywall dust sat on it for weeks. Every carpet in the house was covered in a combination of drywall dust, black dirt and sand. Lennar cleaned the carpet but refused to replace it. The debris did not come out so I had to replace the carpet myself. I found a nail sticking out of the slab that was underneath the carpet ...

We've a bunch of issues found after and before closing date. They were not addressed completely and getting them fixed is nightmare. Worst experience with both the properties that bought from lennar at garner & raleigh. Felt like never do business with this builder again!

The closing was remotely, I was literally enforced to close before the issues in the inspection report were resolved. In addition to the confusion on the home warranty request dates with my other Lennar home, the request for the location of the public utility in in front of my house goes nowhere. I need someone really listen to my request, respond and resolve the issue!

Very poor communication from the Lennar loan team. Unresponsive to questions. My condo insurance coverage got canceled although Lennar insurance team sent me a confirmation enail of coverage. Still no response from loan agent.
