There was a lot of issues the day we signed. It’s been five months and we’re still getting work done.

Still have some issues with water in side yard after it rains. A sink hole in the front yard by side walk. Hole in garage that mice can get in the walls

The longer I am in my townhome (which I love), I'm realizing how ridiculously small the garage is. I drive a small Veloster, and I can barely fit it in with my two garbage cans. Most homes around me have their cars parked on their driveways or in the streets, because they won't fit in the garage. The other thing I would change, is that I think we should have more say in the bigger items, like appliances and HVAC systems. I would have preferred to pay a little more for better appliances.

Love the floor plan and materials. Workmanship could be better (sloppy drywall, paint, and caulking; numerous electrical shortcomings). Slow to non-existent follow up by subs on punch list items and newly discovered issues. Still waiting after 4 months on about 10% of the items.

Recommend being aware of the minor details.

No basis to star rate last 2, so we provided a non-committal 3 stars each What does Trustworthiness mean in this context? And fortunately, we haven't had to judge that. But, I really don't know what you're looking for in the last two. We're basically happy with the house and the community. Annoying items: 1.No ceiling lights in bedrooms and living/dining rooms Lennar rep (mostly very nice and helpful) said some want lights, others, ceiling fans. Our solution: ask the new owners before finalizing. What a thought!?! 2. Ditto for kitchen faucet. No flexible hose spray nozzle. I don't think I've been in a home since the 60's that didn't have a sprayer. I'm having to have an outside plumber do it. 3. The front door opens OUTWARD. Almost everyone who comes in comments on that. Not very shopping bags and boxes friendly. The items above are not deal breakers, but certainly annoying, and we either deal with them with our checkbook or have 3 important negatives in what will almost assuredly be our final home at 74 and 68 years of age. ... Great quality and floor plan. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase, however, the buying and closing processes were not easy. It took several months to resolve issues that were identified at the pre-closing walk-through.

Compared with other builders, Lennar gives so much amenities/equipment as standard not as add on and we have made research 8month before we bought the house. which is a great value. However, during the final walk and the first 90 days, we found quite a bit of issues with quality workmanship, some are small and some are majors. Most issues were addressed but the more we pay attention to details the more we have issues with workmanships. For example, ceiling on the second floor was uneven toward the wall and we found out when we painted the wall ; secondly, numerous cracking on wall plaster ; bedroom doors were installed improperly and The edges rubbing the frame when opening or closing ; when flushing the toilet, you can hear the water running down the pipe so loud , which could be a sign of improper sealing.; weather stripping on the doors wasn’t installed properly and I can see big gaps on the bottom of main door: I’m still trying to address all issues with the builder for resolution. ... Lennar is one of the best builders around the Twin Cities. I had a wonderful experience working with the sales manger Sarah. She does all she can to answer all my question in a timely manner.

Poor quality of finish work and materials. Carpet seams show and nap goes in opposite direction. Tack strip nails come up through carpet( don't walk bare foot). Cabinet quality very poor and counters had 1/2" gaps at cabinets. Repairs were just cover-up, not repair.

Before signing off on the last walk thru sheet make sure ALL of the issues have been completed, we've had issues that have still not been completed. Make sure your drainage in the backyard is correct, When it rains I get a huge puddle in the middle of my backyard, water comes from underneath both neighbors fences, so I will be replacing my fence in about a year. Thanks. Something as simple as painting the PVC pipe in the front so that it matches the house still had not been done and its been 5 months.

This is a nice home - there were some “ glitches in home . The service / tech guy seems somewhat distance in fixing or repairing things around house . He showed little or no enthusiasm when he’s over our house . I believe there should be choices who we can pick to come out fix / repair homes - not just this fellow .

Wish they wouldn’t take so long fixing things, so i won’t be a bother

We understand that Don is a busy man and he has gone above and beyond to ensure any issues we have had with the home that they are addressed. We have however had a work order placed for 4 months now for stains appearing in our granite as well as electrical concerns with a few of our outlets blowing the circuit breaker. The electrician has called us and has not been very willing to work around our Work schedule and the granite has not been replaced as we have been told there are other additional processes that need to be done to eliminate the stain before the granite is replaced. Building process went great with my builder, Clayton. After closing follow up has been difficult. Current construction in the neighborhood has trench my yard over and over, blocked my driveway on multiple occasions and I have had two flat tires driving through the neighborhood. My advice is to not buy when the neighborhood is still in process. The builder does not respect the already losed homeowners.

We love the community we’re in. Overall, the home is solid, but quality of some materials could be improved. Dry wall and trim work need more attention to detail. The one area of disappointment for us was flooring options. Only three choices to choose from and one of those was carpet (no way). Lennar offers what they offer and anything you want to add or make changes to is on you with after market costs.

It was our understanding when making the decision on buying in this neighborhood, that there was going tp be a dog park and playground put in. I can't get answers on the timeline for thus and the one person who responded was the previous construction manager who said here doesn't think they're doing it anymore. The buying process itself was great but a couple months later we are missing out on what was a huge selling point for us on this neighborhood...

I purchase home model as a new home. When I found undone work I was denied assistance cause it was a model but paid new price

Amazon has failed to respond. Failing to make follow-up appointments.

The process of purchasing my home was easy, but from my final walk through to after being in my home for a month, it was horrible. Issue after issue. It has calmed down now, but it shouldn’t have been like this. I honestly think it was due to the time I went to settlement. If I settled when it wasn’t busy, the team wouldn’t have been rushing to meet their year end goals.

We are enjoying our home. My issues: kitchen stove should be upgraded, same with dishwasher. We would have preferred to upgrade and pay the difference. Buying a package deal is a first for us and the last. We upgraded several items after moving in and that is such a waste when you tear out new materials. Our selected items when we signed our purchase papers where changed without the option to have the original selected items. Phil, the onsite manager, was great. Jorge is very responsive to our needs for repairs. Your sales agent did not meet our personal satisfaction on several issues. ... More

Service Requests are being closed without resolving the issues. Arrogant customer support representatives.

We did not have any real issues with the purchase of our lennar home. We did get to monitor the entire construction from vacant lot to a finished home. The workmanship is not very good and time over quality is their MO. We have had minor issues after moving in and Lennar took care of them

Going through the initial process to finally closing was super easy and all my questions were answered so I wasn't confused on anything. House is wonderful and other than a few issues that took multiple times to fix from final closing I would recommend Lennar for others looking to buy.
