Our salesman, Norman, kept trying to sell us something we did not want and, although, we were #1 on a house, we walked in on a conversation with another prospective where he was about to sell them the house we had been promised. We were just waiting for the house to be released to put our money down. We have had trouble getting warranty work completed. We had a private inspection done and some of those issues, which were supposed to be addressed before we moved in still have not been completed. One guy forgot the paint he needed, said he would close the ticket and reopen it when he got back so he it would look like the work had been completed. Work still has not been completed. Overall the experience has been difficult, we closed in late May and still do not have a mailbox and the address is not recognized by the post office or on maps. It has been extremely difficult to get furniture and other items delivered to the house. Our internet service took over 2 months to get turned on the house for the same reason as the service provider could not confirm the address to be true. I wish Lennar had waited another month or two before closing, moving in when we did has been a very unpleasant experience.

Some issues was resolved but other issues are present and no one has responded yet honestly it’s like I’m actually bothering them

Consider the cost of add ons you will have to purchase on your own to your purchase price ie gutters, window coverings, finishing the fence, etc.

Everyone involved was helpful during during buying process. After closing we reported two problems that have not been corrected. But we are very happy with the house and the location.

Our brand new home is absolutely gorgeous, however the level of workmanship, materials and follow through to correct issues is a disappointment. There is no way you will notice everything at your walkthrough or even within the first 30 days since closing. We have noticed cracks in bathroom floors, scratches in sinks, chips in floors, extremely loud garage doors, nicks in cabinetry, very low quality shelving in kitchen, only one shelf in lower kitchen cabinets, lowest quality toilets and faucets and sadly, so much more. Closets are also built with cheap wire shelving and every unit comes with an unfinished room or closet, no shelving in showers except in master bath and rooms with no ceiling lights. For the price paid for our gorgeous unit, you would assume that everything would be in tip top shape. Owners of brand new construction deserve better and should not be expected to hire contractors to take care of these items upon moving in, including outside decks or patios. ... More

Low quality materials used - especially the flooring Home came with very little- needed sprinkler system and gutters No towel racks or toilet paper holders There was phone jacks in kitchen and bedroom- need I say more I even had a roof leak first month None of their contractors spoke English But construction manager was excellent in responding to needed fixes

They have closing I had two dead trees, one front one and back. I have been dealing with a gentleman that is horrible. His name is KRIS I have probably 50 text messages of him saying they are going to replace both trees, but they only replaced the one in front, two days after I moved in I had Prince and Son evaluate both trees. They said they were both dead. KRIS be ashamed of his self not respond to his messages and now I have a dead tree in my backyard. I have been living here for over a month and my first water bill was $648 so yes I have been watering the property , they landscape the house next door. They went all the way on my property to my house and filled the whole side of the house with side on top of my nice green lawn and I still have one uncovered sprinkler head. I purchased my home about 2 months ago . I am just finding outlets that don’t work the molding is cracked and the shower drain isn’t finished. I could not be present for my final inspection because I am active duty military and I was away. I have been trying to reach somebody because I was never given a key to the pool area but I am getting nothing. I am so disappointed

Good price for san diego but keep an eye on quality. They build houses against the clock so theres lots of defects on the houses. Be ready to be patient with them and wait to see if they will help you get it done correctly after you sign it. They do not care of delivering good quality to new homeowners.

The only item that made this buy less than wonderful was the broken timeline promises and that was only caused by poor workmanship. Time and time again we had to postpone our move due to items that were either incomplete or poorly executed. Seems like pride in workmanship is a thing of the past in new built homes. Had things been done right at the beginning, we would have met our deadlines. Also, it would have been nice to receive some sort of follow-up from our salesman. Once we signed the paperwork for the purchase, we never heard back from him. The items that needed attention after we moved in have been resolved quickly. Pleasant, but nothing great. Sales agents are not well informed. Finishing/workmanship is average or below par.

I walked into a home I bought online and when I did see it in person I was not happy, there wasn't any grass in the yard, and inside it's as if it was done by a someone in a rush and was cross-eyed, I woke up to a pile of ants and a few spiders and when I went to talk to someone about it was told that it's my home so I would have to deal with it, and this was after living in there for 3 days, a front driveway that has a crack across three panels that I still have to pay full price for, no back pad that I can grill on, cabinets that hits the walls and flooring that was done without care, when I first looked into this company, I told others to look into it and buy, now I don't do it because I do not want someone to blame me for buying from Lennar ... i need my door to be adjusted

Purchase this model only for because of the layout and having my mom close. Excellent floor plan. Quality of work and materials used could be better. Compromise only for floorplan layout and lot size.

I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of materials and labor . I bought this Townhome because' Lennar' was the builder. Ryan Homes has comparable prices and locations but I chose this because Lennar had such a good name in the building industry. My other home here in FL was not a Lennar but my dad's home, built 2003, is Lennar and the quality of his home is excellent, I would NOT recommend Lennar to anyone these days. They do not build anything. They sub it all out and the contractors get paid for the job, not the quality of the work. -- Granite countertop seems are very obvious. -- Cheapest CERAMIC tile you can buy .. but when I asked b4 i bought, they weren't sure if it was porcelain or not. -- Shower rod fell during first shower. -- Kitchen corner cabinets have no top so grease and dirt fall to the base of it .. they should have put no bottom then, at least it would be able to be cleaned.. etc, etc. Just cheap materials used , lazy contractors, every corner cut to save a dollar ... ... Poor craftsmanship and clearly poor quality control. Land was not prepped before sod was laid. I've been here two months and I'm still pulling up softball size chunks of concrete, nails, screws, saw blades, galvanized steel brackets. The sod is low quality, 1/8 of it is dead, not dormant, but dead, a third of it is infested with weeds. Half of the walls aren't straight, either y'all can't afford a chalk line, level, plumb bob, tape measure, or the quality of the lumber isn't worth the cost of the house. The longer I'm here the more things I see that make me regret buying from a builder. I won't recommend Lennar nor will I ever purchase a Lennar home again. We moved into our house in March and overall it is great but we immediately had issues with our dishwasher. We also realized that the line from the Lennar sales rep of “we’ll always be there for you” was a bunch of bull. Immediately after signing they essentially wash their hands of any issues or responsibilities

They need to improve on the materials they are using for the building. The contractor needs to do excellent work for their clients please

1. Closing delayed do to incorrect filing with the city. 2.Never received final Closing papers. 3. Not given access to main entrance for several day finally after numerous complaints received them. 3. Many issues brought to construction Superintendent with his promise to fix such as: Peeling paint on doors Chipped pavers on driveway Papers not removed on exterior vents Came and removed a gutter that was not supposed to be installed and never returned to patch holes

when you do your house walk the first and second time, everything looks great and you are loving it, once you are settled in, you start to really notice everything is rushed and done the cheapest way, when you are putting in tickets for repairs, they take along time to reply, i understand i am not the only one here but on some tickets, they dont even get back to you, i am still waiting on cracked/broken cabinet drawer which i mentioned in the walk thru

Overall, the experience has been pleasant. The finance side of the business went very well. But, from the time we completed our initial walk-through to now has not been so pleasant. I was told that Lennar doesn't complete a thorough cleaning of their properties. It's called "construction clean". So, we had to go through the entire property once we closed to clean all paint, tape, and sheetrock dust off of everything. Now, I have a warranty claim, and they are telling me it's homeowner maintenance. I am not pleased right now.

Don’t get me wrong I love my community, and waverly home. The problems are the garage door is not sealed on one side, and the cement outside the garage door is uneven and slanted towards the garage so when it rains the water pools inside the garage. The curbing inside the garage is incomplete on one side. Curbing for 3 feet on one side then crumbles off. The tile outside the master shower door as well slants towards the shower, so when you take a shower the water pools outside the shower door. Outside the hose spigot housing gaps open at the top.
