It was quite overwhelming during the initial process because of a ton of emails! Difficult to keep track. Once we signed, response to needs was great! AJ was great and took care of needed repairs quickly!

The process could have been better… Looks like shortcuts were taken with some issues… A week of being in the home we had no heat, the garage door needed to be repainted, and brick was coming off the house. Nonetheless, all issues were handled immediately. Our cable was cut twice by the trades building behind the house. The closing was streamlined and efficient.

Overall buying experience was good. The quality of appliances were not great and Lennar should provide better quality and long lasting appliances. Lennar Mortgage experience wasn't great. Need to improve on overall experience.

Communication: seriously lacking. Examples: 1. We were first given mailbox Keys without clearly telling the mailbox. Later mailbox keys were rekeyed without notifications 2. Lot of confusion all around regarding solar activation with sdge, sunnova and Lennar pointing fingers at each other 3. Some service items took really long for resolution In the modern era where many home owners rely on security cameras, there are serious restrictions on adding cameras.

Overall we’re very happy with Lennar’s sales team, construction team and warranty team. What was severely lacking and not a pleasant experience was dealing with Lennar mortgage and title teams. Communication from them was terrible and questionable business practices. We went with Lennar mortgage because of incentives that were being offered but we would not make that same choice again. It’s a shame that the Lennar mortgage and title teams ruined the home buying experience for us that was otherwise, very good. 5 stars for Lennar Sales, Construction and Warranty teams; 0 stars for Lennar Mortgage and Title teams! ... The home-buying process was generally good, except for issues with Lennar Mortgage and postal delivery. Leigh and Stella often asked for the same documents, redirected me to each other for questions, and everything felt like an urgent last-minute request. They also incorrectly required me to overpay a creditor despite providing proof of a zero balance, and by the time I noticed this in the closing documents, it was too late to correct. One hour before I was scheduled to wire the funds, I was told the homeowner’s insurance I had selected was too expensive and would disqualify me for the loan, leaving me with no option but to choose a less suitable policy. When reviewing the closing documents, the old policy information was listed incorrectly, so I requested an update. Later, I was informed that my insurance company scheduled my policy for cancellation due to confusion over which policy to apply the funds to. Having to choose a substandard policy was upsetting and did not make sense since Lennar covered all closing costs including the homeowners insurance. Not sure if it was a way to force me to pay out of pocket after closing to secure the suitable homeowner insurance with the acceptable coverage such as water back up. Additionally, I've informed Lennar that seven weeks post-closing, the postal service does not recognize my address, so I haven’t been receiving mail, including utility bills and mortgage statements. However, Jack, Alex, Danny, and Javier have been excellent to work with throughout the process. Eric has recently began assisting with the postal service and has also been exceptional. His communication and updates have been much appreciated. ... More

Don’t accept online closing,be person to person ask all questions,ask for all documentation hard copy ,

They buying process was fine. The sales department is not terribly responsive once you agree to buy. Lso dont feel they were transparent about some issues with neighborhood. After some time we were directed to someone who was responsive. Quality if materials is average at best. I still can't believe they do not include gutters on the house. Overall hiusebis fine and they have been super responsive to maintenance tickets.

Everyone was very nice and professional. Too many portals to log into and deal with between the builder, title, mortgage etc. Great floor plan but definitely some items we felt like they got cheap. For example a single hook instead of a towel bar…um most master baths have 2 people so no towel bar and only one hook is a fail. Disposal is poor quality. Terrible can lightning that casts shadows in all bathrooms meant we had to hire an electrician off the bat to install better lighting. Overall still happy with home.

Take notes and write down people and what they do.

We bought house in Aloravita South community in Peoria, AZ. We never get to choose options like flooring, cabinets, exterior color, elevation etc. Its like Take it or leave it....not customer friendly.

Overall buying experience was very good with a few exceptions. The appraisal company and the associated fee was just nothing but gouging. There is no need, especially when they are the builder and lender to have an appraisal done , the appraisal itself was filled with several noticeable errors. Then to be charged when I had to correct the appraisal twice for clear errors is totally unacceptable. The other bad thing which you would have thought would have been a perk was the sod they installed, it was just thrown down with no prep so it isn't smooth and needed lots of supplemental work to even get a smooth grass surface. Was going to use their subcontractor but after watching them install would never use them again. The price is what makes the buy work cause you definitely get what you are paying for with Lennar. They skimp out on some of the most basic or simple things. Just be prepared for having to supplement lots of little things that would have made the buy an exceptional experience, as it was it was good on some things but really bad on several others which would likely me avoid Lennar in the future. ... Our house was good and our salesperson was great. They responded to our needs but we found two things wrong after closing that we missed in walkthrough and we were told by warranty people they don't fix those under warranty. I think that was awful and you would want to make your new people happy. I voiced my displeasure with the warranty people.

The loan officers that I worked with made the experience very stressful even though I am not a first-time home buyer. My last experience of buying a home was not as stressful as this.

Mortgage application was very difficult. The rules that were applied for the mortgage application differed from other mortgage companies I had contacted. It was discouraging. I would not go thru that process again. I got the mortgage, but I paid it off with the proceeds of the sale of my former home.

We love our home, it’s great. We are old, retired and are very technologically challenged. That was our problem .I’m sure others would not have the same issues. When supplying required information to Lennar we were ask to provide that by computer formats we didn’t know or understand. We informed all of this and were told help would be given. Some was, but we perceived to be a problem to them instead. Much time was wasted and we became very frustrated. The process of buying a new home became very unpleasant. I’m sure others more savvy would fair much better than us.

Lennar mortgage went up to a week prior to closing and then said sorry, we cannot finance this. we had to go to a loan broker who got us a more expensive (points, interest, amount) loan within 10 days! We had to move out of our old house prior to closing, so we had to rent an AirB&B with two dogs and a cat for one week until the mortgage was approved. Horrible for all!

Jackie is great! He manages the building of the homes. Very good at responding. They will push you to close quickly, as I believe “bonus” dollars are involved on the quick close. The actual realtor for Lennar wasn’t too good at responding to our questions.

Overall, the house is very nice. The floor plan is exactly what we were looking for as we down-sized. Complaints: It is designed for the Jolly Green Giant. I cannot reach the rods to control the blinds. The blinds are really nice, though. We had to have them replaced so this 5'4" homeowner could control the blinds. In the bathroom, I could not reach the shower head. My 5'11" husband could, though. There were no security bars in the shower and only one towel ring for the primary bathroom, yet it had two sinks. Not very sanitary. We paid to have the blind rods adjusted, added an additional towel ring and two security bars. BTW, we were not even offered any of this because the builders had already decided what was in the house, even though they were still building it. My last complaint is that this is a 'smart home' purchased, evidently, by dumb buyers. We are still trying to get all the appliances registered. I really like the portal they offer for some of the problems, though. Unfortunately, they closed my complaints even though I said we still have problems. The sales staff and all the other employees have been great, though. The problem may be that Lennar does not make consessions for anything out of the ordinary. ... More

Everyone tended to our concerns and address them

Overall experience was a bit rocky, there is a huge lack of communication at times during the process which causes anxiety and unnecessary stress. I didn’t know I would be closing for sure until after 5pm the day before, it was very stressful. Also when I actually picked up my keys, the person who sold me the house was out for paternity leave (so happy for him) but the person there was real impersonal, just handed me the keys and was like good day. I was disappointed because buying a house is a big deal.

The walk through with the assigned builder for my home was not done well. In my opinion home was not ready. Also there is no kit that is given to you that has everything about the house such as warrenty information, ect. I walked through the house and found info on all appliances including AC, ect and then called and logged into websites to register. a organized packet would go a long way. thsi is my 3rd new home and the first one where basicaally received nothing.

Our experience with getting approved for a Lennar mortgage was very painful and stressful. Some people were very helpful; others were very difficult to deal with, especially with the documents we had to provide. The Lennar descriptions and sources for these were very misleading and unhelpful. Too much time pressure was put on us.

We bought because of the area and pricing , realtor was 5 stars all around and still is, even after we bought he has helped in so many ways. I definitely recommend Aaron 100%. As for the Loan officer , was a terrible experience after the 1st interaction. She would never answer texts, emails or phone calls till she needed something from you. Was very negative that you would be approved although my income was double what was needed. I suggested if you do get assigned to NINA to run the other way. lol. Or ask for someone else. But the home is great , used some cheap materials and we had to do a few upgrades and adjustments to make it better. Wish the WiFi was able to hardwired in better places than kitchen and living room. Cu my offices can’t be hardwired since they are downstairs. Electrical is the bare minimum. So eventually you will have to upgrade. Master bathroom we had to upgrade because floor was very slippery and 3 different neighbors agreed. They said double pane windows but they are not. We have made about 5 warranty calls. The HOA is not good at returning emails or calls either till they are ready to talk to you. The response time is a snails pace. Otherwise great neighbors. The gym is terrin as well. ... More

Loan officer Jason was amazing and we’re Extremely happy with his service. Overall, the neighborhood is great however, several items on the house were not completed correctly. Also, very concerned about some of the other items I have brought up…..I have been unable to get a phone call back from Lennar about my concerns. However I would definitely recommend buying from Lennar to my friends and family
