Angie sucked but everything else was fine

A very frustrating experience as many communication issues and disorganization were present from the beginning until closing. especially for a first-time home buyer.

Lennar Portal is absolute garbage!!! The purchase of this Lennar Home was purely possible because of Marina’s compassion and you dont even want to know who she is no woner you cant fix the problem! By the way your survey system is also a pile of you know! But you obviously don’t want the truth! Listen to your employees! They have told you the Portal is awful!

Next house I buy I will de looking for Lennar.

Hello! My expirence doing the financial process with Lennar it wasn't pleasant as I was actuallyexpecting. The person that it was in charge of requesting information seemed she didn't know what she was doing. She made the process stressful. We had a back up Lender and the process was simple and way easier. The day that we received the keys was another stressful day since the garage didn't open and one of the keys open the house once, but didn't work again until Lennar come and fix them 2 weeks later. When finally we come inside the house I almost cried because the house has stains all over and the floor was dirty. The house was not the way it was promised. On the orientation they told us that we will receive a voucher for paint and we haven't receive it. So far I love my house and the community. Also, it is easy to report something when it breaks and Lennar makes sure everything is fine. ... More

The home is well built. Well thought out. The lennar team was great to work with. It was a very smooth process until the end. The in house team of Lennar title was the worst ever. I have used Fidelity and Old Republic on several transactions and they are the gold standard. Unfortunately Lennar doesn’t give you a choice to use anything other than in house title and it doesn’t even meet a Bronze standard in my experience. Our home was ready early. We were not prepared for this and it has cost of several thousand dollars. The lack of communication from our sales associate was very poor.

i had issues with lennar mortgage... but once lennars real estate agent found out he immediatly started the process to fix the wrongs.. David was extroridnarly effective an helpfull. from that point on i would give Lennar 10 stars if i could.. once the closeing finished we were completly overwhelmed with the quality, professionalism, and compasion Lennar showed l.. i would recommend them 100%.. The lennar mortgage company well i had issues with them, maybe you wont so you can try then them make your opinion...

Jason, Shawn, Danielle are all very efficient and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Lennar.

The process from the start was awesome. Our home advisor helped us negotiate when our realtor didn't. She thought we should go in at full price. The Lender was slower than molasses, but the title company was quick and efficient. Overall, I would buy another, larger Lennar home in my near future.

Escrow was a mess. They waited until the day of closing to share that I needed more money to close. I didn’t need a celebration when I did get the keys but it would have been nice that someone from Lennar was there

I would say that the home buying experience would have been great if I went all in with Lennar. Since I did not and chose to go with my own lender things got weird to say the least.

Had a overall wonderful experience minus lennar lender. I had to choose another better lender. But the site manager project manager everyone was great( Herb)

Lennar mortgage personnel was an absolute nightmare I recommend getting your own mortgage company big time!!!

Seems the ball gets dropped from sales to builder one blames the other when something is missed example pre-construction meeting. I was never notified. The builder blamed sales and sales blamed builder. Didn’t help me much as was all over and done with

The mortgage company was not smooth. Our representative left in the middle of it and no one notified us of this for awhile. It wasn’t made easy to understand what was going one.

I found Lennar to be excellent builder very easy to deal with. I am proud to say they are my Builder, and that I own a Lennar home.

The purchase experience was a little shaky.I end up having to get an outside lender. Then, I've had some issues with my home and it took a while for them to fix them. I still don't have any kind of response with the h*. A or anyone else that's running this show. In this gated community an hour and a half

Fortunately I hired an independent inspector as he found major issues with the house but Lennar took care of (had him recheck). A couple of other major issues were fixed fairly quick after they went wrong after close. Fortunately the price was decent so I have felt the price outweighed the issues and the obvious lack of features such as cracked concrete, no ceiling fans or gutters. I have owned 4 newly built houses in my life and this was the hardest closing yet. Lennars own loan company wouldn’t approve this widowed, business owner. I had to go to an outside source so closing was delayed a week with me coming from out of town. So far I like the location and the newness of the house ok but I’m hoping for less parking in the street and allowing of large dogs as I have a pit bull on one side and labradoodles behind me which shouldn’t be allowed on 10’ backyards! Also, I think the house next door is vacant and needs the grass cut before the weeds take over. ... More

As a first time home buyer who went through this process unrepresented, I felt like overall, there was more to be desired. The pros I experienced were that the timeline was quick, and I did not experience any delays in closing. Things I have to note for areas of improvement are as follows. Communication - I was often the one reaching out to see what step we were at, if anything additional was needed from me, and what would be coming up next. My team was responsive, but I wish they were more proactive in communicating. Quality assurance - we were told that Lennar does not do the blue tape walkthrough because they have a quality manager who “handles” it. Which is great, if done to the same standards that I hold. I noticed a handful of things shortly after moving in that wasn’t caught previously: shower head in guest bath not caulked to wall, miss matched paint on two areas of the wall, cabinets chipped on the underside, a seemingly missing cabinet shelf/divider in our kitchen. ... We put in an offer and were excited. We made sure our ducks were in a row. Sadly when we got to underwriting, communication went sparse and our hope of closing early vanished, costing us another month of rent. We could have closed sooner but they waited a week to let us know they needed more paperwork. We never received an apology or any response when we brought this complaint up. The House is solid so far but our first buying experience was not a joyous one. Grateful it is over and we can move on. Lots of good people with this lennar group just not efficient. I offered my services as it is extremely wasteful on their part. Lastly I still don't know what the concierge is for. Ours didn't check in with us and never could help answer our questions. Thankfully, we had a good realtor from the outside that helped push lennar. All in all, if you go with lennar you'll get a descent home but their organization structure and lack of communication can be very stressful and make you doubt you're going to close on your new home. Will start on the outside leading to the house. The contractor who did the cement sidewalks and driveways did a terrible job.. Not only on our property but the whole community. The cement is flaking, cracking and marks all over them. Who ever designed and put the water pipes in did a terrible job. The water pipe covers are in drive ways, in some cases two, on the sidewalks…….just terrible. The house itself is not too bad, the biggest complaint is lack of storage.. No linen closets, no sealing of grout on the tile, no drawers in the master bathroom. In the backyard the yard property does not meet the golf property in a very attractive setting. Underwriting was a pain. Lack of communication among the employees and some not returning calls or emails. Had to upload the same information several times. Very frustrating and upsetting. Now that it’s all over we love our home and are very happy even though we needed a brand new air conditioner within the first two weeks. Other than that no major issues with our home.

We love our new Lennar home and the new community! The only problem we had was on the financial end, the loan officer, and those folks. And in talking to all our new neighbors who were already here when we moved in as well as the neighbors who have moved in after us, we all seem to have the same thing in common….. the lending process was unnecessarily, stressful, and overall not good. So far almost everyone we have spoken to experienced the same thing we did in that it was a lot of “hurry up and wait“ with the worst part being none of us were approved for our loans until a day or two before we were set to move in with the deadline Lennar gave us. This was very stressful in that most of us were also selling the home we were moving from and we didn’t know whether or not we would be approved for the loan in time to meet the deadline that Lennar gave us. We sold our home and moved into our new home in four weeks. Lennar had given us six weeks to do so. So it was very frustrating on the financial side for them to get the loan approved before the due date. Also worth noting, every single one of us have experienced the same thing in regards to the mortgage company. Lennar initially owns the mortgage and then within only a couple weeks of living here the loan is sold off to a different mortgage company. So that was kind of frustrating. In the end, it obviously worked out for all of us, but the loan process could’ve been more expeditious and less hurry up and give me this now and then wait to hear back from me for what felt like a little bit too long. We had a couple minor issues with hardware, etc. which Lennar was very quick in getting someone out to replace so that was great. The Lennar realtor, Jasmine, was fantastic and very helpful as well. Overall, we are in our dream home and so happy to be part of this new community! ... More

Good process from purchase to closing. So far response to post purchase issues has been average in my opinion .
