Lennar service and all is great. In my opinion the upgrades should be different. Why no money back when not using tiles or carpet. Why not more freedom for upgrades for kitchen. Material use is cheap. Why not full flooring and then place kitchen island. Etc etc. should be a possibility to get discounted on kitchen and pick own kitchen and store. All is made simple for builder. But maybe I am spoiled with how things get done in the Netherlands.

Lennar - Poor quality craftsmanship on a lot of the interior features.

Poor quality craftsmanship on a lot of the interior features. The wood floor is a cheap quality and scratches or dents with no effort. Some of the cabinetry was poorly attached to begin with. We had a flood in our kitchen a month after moving in, because the dishwasher was improperly installed and now we need repairs to floor and cabinets. While we were well taken care of during the buying process by the sales team - we have been disenchanted with some of the response from Lennar's warranty and repair team. Thank God for a full year of warranty, because there's already a bunch of things ...

Truthfully not happy with the workmanship on our new home. So many little things wrong that should have been fixed before we even did our final walkthrough. Doors with dents in them, the paint job was awful, it looks like a third grader built parts of the house. Shotty workmanship, Lennar will hire anyone to do the work. When you buy a brand new home you expect things to be NEW not already destroyed because workers are careless.

Overall Lennar team is very hard to get ahold of or get support from.

During the buying process, we had to contact the finance team multiple times before we heard back on any questions we had or information we needed. Nearly every time, we were the ones reaching out to them to find out what needed to be submitted, as opposed to them guiding us through the process. It was a very frustrating process, and if we hadn't done that, I'm not sure we would've completed the loan requirements before closing. In the month and a half since closing, we've been in constant contact with multiple people from the warranty team because they neglected to fix major issues that ...

We haven’t moved in. When we talked about landscaping plan with the contractors, suddenly a cover?/ something fell off from the ceiling. One of cabinet inside shows a crack which we didn’t notice during the walkthrough. The bottom of bedrooms door is not even.

Did not fix any of the issues found during the inspection. They made it extremely difficult to have a third party inspector come in. A door fell off 2 months after buying the house and they are refusing to warranty it. The home buying experience was very smooth though. Suzette was a pleasure to deal with and was very helpful

My upstairs floors squeak and are uneven with soft spots, grout is already coming out of tile, walls aren’t square. You guys didn’t put proper polymeric sand in pavers so I had to resand with proper sand and seal them myself . Already had an issue with irrigation system running for over 6 hrs from valve getting stuck open. The backyard sod is fried and totally uneven. so many dead spots. No topsoil was put down. Directly laid on sand. They put the sod down directly on top of trash, plastic and water bottles that I’ve pulled from under the sod. You planted a huge red maple tree right up ...

Overall experience was a little crazy. Communication was almost not a thing during the process unless I made contact first. Move in date kept getting pushed back further & further. When I finally moved in my home I started to notice small problems like when I take a shower the wall gets a little wet & the paint starts coming off the wall. Even on the ceiling the paint is coming off a little. The spiders are a problem being I am about to have a newborn inside the home. No street lights on my street & many others. My bestfriend was going to move here also but I advised her not too because I’ve ...

Overall, I am very grateful to have completed the purchase process and moved into my home. However, the overall experience during the transaction was stressful and felt unnecessarily prolonged at times. The process often seemed unorganized, particularly when it came to completing and coordinating paperwork with the senior loan processor. Communication regarding required documents and signing timelines was frustrating, as many requests felt extremely last-minute and time sensitive. I felt that we did a good job submitting the required documents promptly whenever they were requested. ...

The virtual closing was a disaster and if we could have pulled out of the deal we would have. The communication with the agent Michael Berrons ( not sure of the spelling because he never gave us a business card) was n on existent! He was not there for the closing and never even acknowledged us after the initial signing. I highly recommend that you have an in person closing for buyer in the 55+ communities. We like the house but the communication after the sale is non existent! Lennar could get recommendations if they spent a little more time on follow-up after the sale. A list of what ...

My experience with Lennar has been mixed, but the negatives ultimately outweigh the positives. To start, the home buying process was easy and streamlined, which is one of the few highlights. However, I strongly recommend using a third-party lender, as Lennar sells your mortgage off and better options are often available elsewhere. Where things fall apart is in the quality of the build. It’s very clear that corners are cut to keep homes “affordable.” I was even told directly that if something is only recommended by code, they won’t do it only what is absolutely required. There have ...

We were sold a home that was supposed to be completed to the model standards and the home we received was sloppily completed. We have go e back and forth with Lennar to fix our backyard which was not leveled or graded appropriately. The walk through was a joke. The attention to detail is not there and they rush to complete the houses. Paint splatter on floors. Caulking sloppily completed, paint on carpets, electrical fan boxes sticking out more than 1/4 to 1/2” shower rain head not secured by not ceiling and floor can go on and on.

I was met with rudeness and condemnation. Poor customer relationship and poor follow through. I love my home. But was made to duplicate information and complete tasks multiple times. My experience was terrible each step of the way. But my home is beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bathroom, the only reason I suffered through the process.

The only positive comment I can make is on the speed of my closing. I have never closed on a home in under 30 days but, now that I’m in my home, I realize that the closing is fast because you’re being swindled. My advice to anyone looking to purchase from Lennar would be to make sure that you utilize an experienced realtor, do not rush to buy, have your home inspected and re-inspected if necessary. Do not sign anything until you are completely satisfied. I cannot believe I fell for the “warranty” trick when I was already being treated as an idiot that has never purchased a home before during ...
