Lennar home models and layouts are superb. Also the process was not exhausting with too many choices like other builders do. But quality needs to be improved. Most of the home buyers don't know but I think Lennar cuts on things that customers really don't think of too much during the process which cost more to the customers later on. For example, 1. Not using conduit pipes for wiring 2. Not using standard cans light that are readily available in the market

Customer service very responsive but limited in what they could accomplish, who every over saw the house being built very poor, when we complained about the paint to the sub they sent out the answer was it was building grade paint and they new we would be repainting lots of hi tech items but most don't work at designed

You use by far the cheapest products from appliances to folding doors Worst of all is the exhaust vents on the roof. When the wind blows the flapper inside bangs and bangs. I’ve looked at a sample vent and it is cheap cheap cheap With no real fix Mgmt tells me to but my own and install it Wow I won’t recommend your product in the future

I feel they rushed the preclosing inspection we marked a lot of items in the house thinking in a week when we do the closing day inspection everything would be done, we pulled up and there was a welcome home sign and balloons in the driveway. When we walked in very little was done so they have people coming and going to finish so we would close. It was totally rushed and mediocre job. The other upsetting thing was the backyard was not grades correctly and all around the back porch it floods. Still waiting for that to be corrected. They are building a house next to us and for 3 months there ...

The workmanship in our home is that of random people doing random tasks they are not competent in. So many little things all over the home. The floors have gaps in some slats and non in the other. The trim work could have been done better by my 8 year old son and he has absolutely no carpentry skills. The answer to every and all mistakes was smearing caulking all over the home. Our back yard constantly floods and holds water from the rain and or neighbors sprinklers. The lack of proper runoff and drainage is ridiculous. If I could rate zero stars I would especially on workmanship and quality.

My Salesman Greg is great very attentive to my questions. Lennar's underwriting team is a nightmare. Waiting till the last minute to check and complete the sign off. Customer Care slow to address some issues, seems like they hope it will go away on it own. Some appliances feel cheaply made. Could have gone with better dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

There were several issues with our home upon move in which we were told would be taken care of. We had to continuously contact customer care and the construction manager to complete tasks that were not completed as promised. We had a ticket opened due to a cracked cabinet and back splash prior to closing date. The ticket was closed without being addressed or us being contacted. I had to continously reach out to customer care to figure out why the ticket was closed without the work being completed and they weren't able to tell me who closed the ticket or why. Sales people were friendly. Pool issues took over a month after closing to resolve. Clubhouse and amenities were to be built by summer of 2021. They have yet to break ground. Response to punch list issues has been prompt. Typical production builder.

Overall, it's a smooth purchase process, with great online interface. However, the materials used and electrical appliances quality are horrible. Paint, fridge, water heater, AC heater, Wifi switch, all require repair No matching paint for fix up The fridge has damaged connector and wont dispense filter water The water heater switch was not connected The AC air heater has a loose cable and wasn't fixed for over 2 weeks. Not actively fixing the issue with Wifi switch.

Lot size may vary slightly. If you require RV access get a lot that has a few more inches than the minimum you require. Garages are standard size with very little room in front of a parked car or sides for storage. Homes are well insulated and energy efficient. Smart houses are not set up. It is up to the home owner to figure out how to set up. Counter tops need to be sealed by owner, Don't expect to move in and use counter tops before sealing. If you have hard water invest in a quality water softener not a cheap one from a big box store. House did not come with rain gutters. Our 3 car ...

I saved over $30,000 by having my flooring upgrade done by a private contractor after we closed escrow. Lennar should be more competitive. The interior paint was substandard as the good paint was not available. I had to have the entire interior repainted the day after I closed escrow. After 4 months, I'm waiting for screens.

The design of the home is great. Unfortunately the trade partners they select to build the house is poor. The subs slap things together and then leave it up to the finish crew to REALLY finish the house. To make matters worse, their finish crew is short- staffed and it takes FOREVER to get things complete.
