The house is fine, but the process could be better

The worst materials used, drywall and flooring…clearly emphasized on plug n play model for profit. Flooring has no proper insulation…4 months in and still waiting for repair to damages. LENNAR is terrible. I am looking forward to selling as home appreciate. I will never ever go with Lennar again. Took 3 months to finally get garbage receptacles, however it’s been 5 weeks since trash pickup, I still haven’t gotten my trash picked up and have escalated. HOA should be covering this and I sure am paying 2 HOA’s..at a loss right now and super frustrated. I also almost forgot about the misinformation initially with regards to internet and that whole ordeal….the list goes on and on and on…. ... More

The overall home value is okay but could be lower in price. Lennar staff has been helpful.

Better communication would go a long way in making satisfied customers. Our closing was delayed over 2 months with absolutely no communication from Lennar as to reason. House was still not ready / completed at walk through.

We've had many warranties since moving in and it seems that the home was rushed for moving date, which most areas marked weren't even done on moving day. Communication was never there since the beginning from start to finish. The obly good thing about the process was the guy who helped from Customer Care team.

Lennar’s home quality is amazing. This along with their great team working on clementine riverstone in Madera, CA is the reason we went with this builder over the 6 other ones we were looking at around the Fresno/Madera area. Their team Answered all the questions we had with a fast and extremely professional manner… and I had a lot of questions throughout the entire process!! I would definitely do it again with lennars riverstone clementine team.

It may be a common practice, but Lennar is among those builders who simply clear-cut every living thing wherever they build. The fact that they also use Bermuda grass means that for long periods of the year you will be living in an area completely devoid of anything green and living. Additionally, the home I bought was rife with issues including a severely uneven foundation in one room that still wasn't fixed by move-in even though it had been brought to the builder's attention many weeks earlier. Oh what fun it is to be baking in the North Carolina sun for 3 days in mid-summer because you've already moved out of your prior home but it's too loud to be in your new one while the slab is getting ground down! ... Shoddy workmanship, cheap materials used, Four months since closed and still finding problems and the majority of the previous issues have yet to be addressed.

For $400,000 you expect a certain quality in a home. This does not live up to the expectations. Very poor quality paint, sheet rock, tile work, workmanship and appliances. When we moved in the oven didn’t work, the dryer outlet didn’t work, the dishwasher leaves the dishes unclean and wet, paint feels like sandpaper, paint peels off the doors if you try to clean the glass or they get wet, crack in ceiling about 6 feet long in the kitchen. The Sheetrock is a very cheap quality and very thin. You have to be very careful when you try to mount towel bars or toilet paper holders. The grout is crumbling on the backsplash in the kitchen. The tile in the master shower is unlevel and water puddles in the floor about a quarter inch in spots. When asked to repair the crack we were told that it is a common problem in this floor plan and we should wait until the year end inspection because they will only fix it once and if we do it now the house will continue to settle and it will crack again. The same was said for the nail and screw heads that are popping through the paint already. They wish they could do it more than once but if they do it for us they have to do it for everyone. Top row of rock on the front of the house was installed wrong and they were told when it was first done but they said we would have to wait until the final walkthrough to address it and other issues. Then they said the contractor told them that it was the correct way to be installed and they wouldn’t change it. Therefore the grout on the top row of rock wouldn’t seal to the siding because they tried to use a clear silicon and it wouldn’t fill the gaps. They then tried to fill the gaps with mortar and it looks awful. Paint on the outside of the house is of a poor quality and so thin you can see the strips where the paint was applied. Interior walls feel like sand paper because the primer was sprayed on before the walls were cleaned and the paint adheres to the dust making it rough. The paint quality feels like rough chalk. Molding all through the house feels like it has sand on it and has never been sanded. The yards were sodded with dead grass and we were told it would grow back, it hasn’t. The sod was not rolled properly so the yard is rough and the grass didn’t root the way it should. There are bald spots all over. The side yards were not graded properly so they don’t drain the way they should leaving wet, boggy, muddy areas which are conducive to mosquitos. We love the area and the people that live here. i'd like other home buyers to Lennar does not keep to their word. There is still no amenities and we have been told for almost a year they were about to start and now at the beginning of 2022, we still have no amenities.

The time line for construction was laid out after our purchase. Lennar completed our home in the time they said they would. Some minor issues arose after the purchase of our home, but Lennar responded immediately to our requests.

Everyone was so helpful and responsive with any questions. I love my new home and the value.

Had a great experience; love the home. Still working on issues: repairs, electrical. But they are quick to fix!

Make sure all issues are closed before closing. Expect to spend 10% (paint, kitchen pantry wire mesh, doors) more on fixing poor quality related work. Extremely pleased with the layout of the house including linen closet space. Excellent warranty service provided by Kelly, superfast and responsive.

This was good working with super and sales rep they were helpful and answer all our questions and concerns.

We were not disclosed the Villa fees upfront. House was not complete on closing day. As well as many repairs needing to be done upon move in.

For a new home and the lennar name the home should have been in better quality when we received it and the appliances are below par. Very noisy. Paint all over my upgraded flooring and even after someone came out to clean it a second time before we got the keys paint still on the floor

I appreciated the email updates so we could stay on top of the building process.

Lots of issues But takes forever to resolve Our settlement was 8/31/21 but I don’t have a schedule for repairs

Good builder and responsive. The office is good too.
