The actual building team (overseeing manager, contractors, subcontractors) is where my biggest issue is. When we arrived on the final walkthrough there was quite a bit not done, the house was far from clean, and the yard looked terrible. Keep in mind this is after we did the initial walkthrough and put things on our list to be repaired and/or cleaned. Paint was sloppy, we still don't have all the caulking done on the exterior, and the railings aren't level to just mention a few things. Waiting for months to get problems addressed and still no help. Promises made and no follow through. Finish work is not good, follow through not good, effort to make things right nonexistent. Gone through all the appropriate channels and done everything asked of us and we are left hanging with no help in sight.

Ridiculously rigid buying process

They wont budge on anything, you want an outlet somewhere? Too bad! You offer them 200$ to put the outlet there? Nope nada! Any upgrades to materials have to come out of pocket (not through mortgage) and you have to use their vendor who will gouge you because they know you cant get additional offers. Default floors are not waterproof, this is the pnw, we get water. Site mgr is a little man (matt) who will try to get you in trouble for checking on the progress of your half million investment. Cute floor plans, but they phone it in and then act like theyre doing you a favor

Interior paint job could be done better. It wasn’t finished nearly. There is an area where floor was not leveled correctly. Response to issues was satisfactory except the title office was very hard to contact and my messages were often ignored.

We really love our new home build by Lennar! The building crew was amazing - fast and good quality. The builders' supervisor was very responsive and kept us in the loop. He really went above and beyond. That said, the sale process was extremely shady and frustrating. The price kept going up by the week and even when they "released the lot" and had increased the price substantially from the initial price, they put us through blind bidding extorting even more money from us. After we moved into the house, the Lennar customer service is very good, for the most part.

I had a horrible experience . The sale of my home depended on my purchase of this home. I needed one more day but lennar didn’t care. They would not give me one more day. They told me they would turn around and sell it for more than I was buying it for. The paint is awful it’s a flat pain shows all the marks. In the bathroom caulk is missing around the floors. I fell that the home was built so fast that paying attention to details are missed. My grass now that’s another issue. I have holes in the back yard where grass is missing. I was told that someone would come roll it but never happened. ...

We had nothing but radio silence and issues when we were actually going through the buying process with Lennar, however once we moved in, we were taken care of with nothing but white glove service. Anytime we had an issue, or had a repair needed, we were taken care of or fixed up within a week. Crazy to think they were the same company. If only everyone at Lennar operated like the on-site sales team. Thanks to George, Daniel and Klarissa!
