Rat infestation, from Lennar building behind us. Lennar knew this would happen, so they put it in your contract that they are not responsible for rodents. It has cost me over $6,000 to get rid of the rats.

Sales and local construction manager did a great job. The process of getting warranty claims resolved is terrible unless you’re talking to someone at the corporate office or a regional President. The preferred lender will lie and threaten you in an attempt to gain your business. Overall a pass if it were pass/fail (but not by much).

Unfortunately, I feel as though my house was rushed. There has been many issues I had to put tickets in for. Most of the issues have got fixed, others I am still waiting on. Lately, the customer service representative has been unresponsive.

Lennar is building too many homes too fast and utterly lacking in quality control. All the homeowners in our neighborhood are having to chase after them for multiple items with the homes. Warranty response can be very uneven. Four months into the home and I’m still waiting for a replacement cabinet doors owed us from prior to close. Paint on floors, dings and walls, crappy paint job in places, their installers put the wrong cabinets in the wrong bathrooms ( one is bigger one is smaller and they had them swapped Impacting use of the toilet in one of them ). It’s obvious that the sales teams don’t care about you as a person. It appears the sale is their main goal. We heard phrases when asking questions about the home that didn’t seem right “oh I thought you wanted to buy a home. We have many people interested.” Or “yes I’ll take care of that” after the 3rd email and still needing to send more emails and a phone call just to find out how you’re getting your move in key. The construction manager was Lennar’s savings grace. He was a pleasure to work with.

Lennar messed up on the grass installation date that led to ALL the grass dying that Lennar had installed . I went by my verbal conversation with Kyle because I trusted him. When things went wrong he and the managers either went mute or told me to show something in written otherwise they can’t do anything. My total expenditure for this goof up is $3.5k!! Shane started telling me all about when the grass needs to be installed that Kyle or no one else mentioned when they should have. On top of that he said he won’t talk to the landscape company to see if they can give me the builder rate ...

I was disappointed in the overall workmanship in this house. At one screw in every hinge was stripped and was told you don't fix that. You can see seems in the crown molding but was told that is a homeowner's problem. All interior doorknobs were loose. Poor paint job.

The finished quality of workmanship sucks. They should do a walk through themselves before they invite the homeowner in and fix everything they find wrong. But, they wait until the homeowner comes in, and in a couple of hours expects the homeowner to find all the problems. The finish carpentry is poor, the countertops were not cut straight or square, very cheap flat paint on the walls that gets marked up just by leaning a cardboard box to it. They wait to paint the doors after all the hardware is attached, thus more poor workmanship. Walls are not straight vertically, I have one wall off ...
