Overall was a pretty poor experience. Glad it's over and will never go through Lennar again. All of our neighbors have reported having dealt with very similar or worse issues. Most, if not all of our neighbors have had to have additional work done to their houses after move in. Everything is just halfway done. No real effort is put into any part of these homes. Our loan officer was definitely the worst part. Definitely a shady operation going on. If you can, go through a different lender for sure.

LENNAR as a builder is a good value for the money

Margaret & Danny were great. Danny accepted another position and Norm took over for him. Norm has not been very responsive and I had to call the office and ask for his manager before he came to do our 30 day walk through (over 60 days later). We are still waiting for the cabinets that were scratched and broken before we closed to be replaced. They had the HVAC company come out and check our heater because it is not working and the house gets cold. They did not check the furnace, but claimed the thermostat was defective and replaced it. The house is still cold. Even when I have it set at 72 it drops as low as 63 in the house when it is cold outside. We have sent pictures to Norm and over 2 weeks later still waiting for someone to fix this. ... More

Lennar builds a high quality home at a fair price. They also stand behind their home. My wife and I am very satisfied with our home. The home was completed within one day of promised date.

Lennar stood out for the affordability and amount of amenities received with the home purchase! All of the sales, staff, and neighbors were great. Our construction manager, Vinny, made sure we had everything we needed, and understood the functionality of our home. Glad our realtor , Mike led us here.

Overall, I’m happy with my purchase of a townhome built by Lennar. However, the drywall and paint work done throughout the house is not stellar. It’s clear to see they were both rushed jobs. The paint used is not of high quality and, as a result, makes it very difficult to blend and match up perfectly when trying to fix imperfections. (This was confirmed by another professional painting company.) Several of the switch plates are crooked but my home inspector told me that, unfortunately, is something that could not be fixed without replacing the drywall completely. I was lucky enough to choose my kitchen countertops, cabinet colors, and floors before construction began. I do wish there were more options to customize things like fixtures. There were some speed bumps along the way, such as the keys I received at my closing did not work so I was unable to access my new home until the following Monday as it required a locksmith to come out and replace the deadbolts, etc. I like the design of the home and the neighborhood. Generally speaking, I know I would have appreciated more attention to detail to ensure my house was near perfect when I closed. ... More

Super friendly and willing to help as much as they can!

The lawn care is very poor. Most of my plants have died and the lawn has weeds and bare spots and the water does not drain completely. The HOA says that they are not responsible and will not fix this issue, given that the plants and grass were of poor quality. It would also be nice if Lenna gave the homeowner the option to get a water softener installed.

I wish it was better overall a lot of stress and you guys never fix what we ask y’all to fix

The process was a bit stressful with delays however i know that was out of the builders control. However communication could have been better. Overall, our home came out great and we are happy with the purchase

Very satisfied with the overall process! It was done sight unseen so I was taking a risk. I highly recommend Lennar Homes and would do it again!

Great first time home buying experience

Were still working with lennar team to fix paint, cracks in stairs, nails in carpet sticking out and widow seal issues in 2 rooms. Unsure about the experience so far to be honest.

Lennar sales manager is not customer friendly and don’t want to listen customer issues

I would like to see better quality materials used. Better workmanship. It didn’t seem like there was construction supervision.

Quality is very bad

Paint is chipping because they watered down the paint. The solar panels are not even close to netting out the results its supposed too. The amenities are not complete yet we are paying an hoa fee for them. The Mello roos is labeled as special assessment which has a 50 year bond on the property (where most have 25 year bond). The public lights to the street are not even turned on. The curbs leading into the property are incredibly high and are not up to code (which they are claiming that they are and are refusing to pay for improvements). "The Olympic pool" they are offering as a selling feature is a barely a lap pool. Hoa fees fluctuate based on phases opening up which was not discussed. Closing process was a nightmare. ... More

I wish I could turn back time and wait on my close. Make sure you have everything complete before you sign. If Dillon is your construction manager, leave completely, he is not only incompetent, he is rude and unresponsive.

I closed escrow in July 2021. I expected quality for the price of the house and for having Lennar as the builder. But staying in the house for few months now brought me a lot of disappointments. The granite in our kitchen countertop absorbs water and now stained with oil after it was claimed to be sealed by Brandon from quality control dept., and even after I sealed it before use. I spoke to Brandon about the issue, and I was told that it will be adressed, but I have not heard anything yet until now. Brandon said that maybe because the granite has been stored for a long period of time before it was used is the reason why it absorbs water easily and is already stained. But I don’t think that there is any excuse for not assuring the quality of anything before putting everything together in this house. The shelves and brackets in master’s closet also fell apart after we hanged clothes. As per Brandon, there should only be maximum weight to be placed, which was never mentioned ever. And I don’t think that good quality will break easily. I wish IBrandon said that it is how they make standard closet and I can always upgrade using another company if I want a better quality. Too bad, I thought Lennar has the quality I was looking for. For the repaint and drywall touch ups, I was scheduled for a certain day and when I was making sure to get it done by the scheduled date, Adrianne from builder’s choice snapped at me and told me that I am not the only client. Then the appointment should be more than a day and was managed prior, for me to plan my days as well. Now, for the repaint of my front door and doorstep, the door should have been painted entirely, but it appears that there is no touch up in the bottom area. which is very obvious and frustrating to look at. and for the doorstep, the paint dripped underneath, and now stained the stucko. Which i need to call quality again for. In my backyard, the planter looks weird. It wasn’t straight all the way and the sprinkler switch is the in the middle of nowhere. Brandon said that it was how it was disigned and approved by the builder. Which is confusing because both of my neighbors doesn’t have a planter. Anyway, I got the planter corrected on my own since quality dept will not do it for me in order to show quality. ... More
