However, I feel like no one wanted to take responsibility for some of the issues that I was experiencing with my new home. Easily and quickly put it off on the development/management company that the house is associated with. Frustrating! I will say that I love my new home and I will work through the issues on my own which unfortunately will have to come out of my pocket because the management company believes that it is Lennar's responsibility per the warranty. I am stuck in the middle!

Builder will cut corners to pay a penny

Buying process was not horrible. Home has turned out to be built extremely poorly and needs lots of warranty work. Builder also decided to save money by not completing a retaining wall between the properties resulting in 15k in out of pocket expense to resolve eroding steep hill of dirt builder somehow got the city to sign off on. Stay away from Lennar if you want quality for your money.

In these trying construction times with low volume availability of materials and completed homes, we were glad to find a builder that could meet our accessibility needs and deliver on time. Lennar staff at Timber Creek kept us informed on the progress of our home and addressed all warranty items with a tracking system to ensure quality completion

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Sooo much easier than in prior years of buying houses. This will be the fourth house I've had built in my life. Unfortunately, I didn't get to pick anything out this time like I would normally. It was done by the sales guy. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing though. I probably would have priced myself right out of the house picking stuff out at the showroom! lol. Lucky for me, he did a good job in picking! Prices are off the chart. I think I should have paid a LOT less for this house, but it's the nature of the current state of things. ...

I would purchase again using Lennar. My only issue is the paint is is more of a primer than paint. It needs 2 coats and I wish Lennar left a little paint, floor,carpet in the garage for touch ups.
