Do your homework. Really critique the model homes. Be vigilant during the building process. Submit tickets after you purchase.

When I first entered into a Contract the day of the Employee assigned was all over the place and kept getting up and not focused on the Customer. I lost out on a lot of things that could have been now that I am in this house.

Take your time and if the person working at the office cannot Focus ask for someone else. I could have included more things I wanted after I spoke with neighbors. Also when I signed I would call and ask questions and never a response. Also contact Lennar Higher Level and Basically they protected the employee and only excuses. I liked the All Included but was it worth it? First Impressions stay with a person. Homes in Florida are not the Standard I expected. No interiar wall insulation for example

I am a repeat customer with Lennar and this experience was not at all like my first one. So many things were wrong with the house and we purchased in May. I was built too fast and no one paid attention to details. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone

Poor quality control during the build. House next door has been half built for 6 months and I have a constant flow of trash in my yard. Lennar mortgage company was a nightmare to work with.

I love my new home. Lennar had great floor plans and a variety of finishing options both inside and outside the home. Unfortunately there were some issues. Home itself was great. If you end up being a winter build, be ready to go through a maddening spring. If you close on your home in the winter, you do not get a driveway, sidewalk, or sod. This makes sense given the winter conditions. Here comes the fun part, so that Lennar can make its fiscal numbers, once spring comes, they prioritize their monthly closings first and the winter closings go to the bottom of the priority list for ...

We love our floor plan and neighbors, but are really disappointed with the quality and expectations that Lennar has of its subcontractors. Apparently our standards are too high for a production builder.

Safety concerns not addressed till today by land department

My property happens to be the end unit on the side of the busy road where cars come at 45 MPH. I have taken photographs highlighting the need of the fencing similar to the fencing adopted by neighbor communities in Amberley area who are on the same side of the busy road. I wrote a note to Lennar sales, Lennar land department.. still they are not addressed. Their say is, its not in the layout and cannot be actioned upon. I have been asking the sales team to direct me to someone on the land department to talk about my concerns, I have never been directed till today. It has been almost 4 ...

I love my house, the workmanship is great but I am very disappointed that the swimming pool will not be installed until the summer or 2021 when I was told it would be built by 2020. Management has not reached out to make accommodations for us to perhaps utilize nearby facilities until the pool is place. Also there has been a recent decrease in the value of townhomes in Grand Bees which is very disconcerting.

Lennar responded:
HI Susan, thank you for your feedback about the swimming pool in your community, as well as your property value concerns. We are sorry to hear about this. Please feel free to contact us at corporatecustomercare@lennar.com with any details you would like us to review for you. – Lennar Customer Care

The only thing that kept me going with the home buying is my amazing realtor. Lennar’s team was awful in communicating within themselves throughout the entire process. The day I was closing I had to call them and ask them if we were ever going to have a final walk through which they stated “I signed to skip it”. I asked to send me a copy of this supposed document to which they responded they were misinformed and that I could do final walkthrough 30 minutes before closing! Obviously it was rushed as we had a 25 minute drive to closing which we later regretted as we saw things that needed to ...

We originally had our own realtor, but were told he wouldn’t get paid because he wasn’t with us during our first tour, so we were basically forced to work with Leah instead. The entire experience felt rushed from start to finish. Anytime we had questions about the house, Leah always seemed annoyed or inconvenienced. The house itself also feels very cheaply made and poorly thought out in a lot of ways. The hardwood floors already feel uneven and bumpy in certain spots, the counters scratch incredibly easily even though we’ve been very careful, and a lot of the design choices just don’t ...

Good home, not good quality in critical areas, denial of issues

Overall our home was good- many areas seemed rushed and involved little to no quality assurance. We had to drive very critical mistakes in our home which was a safety concern. Other issues were denied and later found were not installed correctly. Really would have been a great buy or experience, but when issues found denial was the only response or no communication. Just identify the issue and make the fix - but still working with QA and resolution team - was very dissapointed.

Sloppy construction

Sloppy construction, paint splashes and drips, cabinet molding was uneven, and attic door was sloppy and discolored. Every single warranty requires a 4 hour leave from time off. Trades show up before their scheduled time or didn’t show up at all. Other times I have to take 4 hours off of work for a 1 hour job that could have been scheduled. Then my garage started to crack the drywall and come to find out the garage wasn’t even finished. You sold me an unfinished home. I can say I am extremely unhappy and disgusted with the quality of construction by such a reputable builder like Lennar. I ...

We are familiar with the Estero Fl area and really liked the community. We are from out of state, about 1200 miles away and still working. Uploading all info online for a mortgage was a hassle and unnerving with the amount of fraud happening. Too many different people involved in the process through out Lennar, maybe one person coordinating-client facing and they hand off what’s needed to the different departments within Lennar. . The closing walk through date was given to us by one person, changed by another. Our closing date was changed, airline tickets had to be cancelled and ...

All I can really say is read your contract an know what you are getting into. If you are 100% sure about wanting the home great, if life Happens just know 3 weeks after giving your Earnest money they will do everything in their power to keep it. Builders are asking for more Ernest now for that exact reason and also make sure you put a realtor on your contract because it’s free money they have aside for that as well and will also try to get you to sign the contract without a realtor on it.

In a nutshell Lennar is only interested in collecting your money. That includes the sales persons. Not one of the departments knows what the other is doing. There is no coordination with each department. One person promises something and the other doesn’t know anything about it. The walls of the home are paper thin. We have a pile of sand in front of our house that we have to drive over to leave the house. That sand is because our neighbor is installing pavers. But the sand is in our driveway!!! I would never recommend Lennar to anyone I have respect for.

Where do I begin. The purchasing process was rigid and inflexible, no contingencies, no flexibility, take it or leave it. Not a great way to start what should be an exciting experience. The move-in was a mess. There were serious communication problems between Lennar and our external lender, and their financial systems felt outdated and slow. On top of that, we had a package deal that included a washer, dryer, and refrigerator — and they tried to back out of it and offer a credit instead. It took multiple heated conversations just to get what we were originally promised. We were ready to ...

We recently completed the purchase of a new construction home and, while we are pleased with the final product, the overall experience fell short of expectations. Throughout the process, communication lacked the level of consistency and attentiveness one would anticipate when investing in a newly built home. Inquiries and concerns were not always addressed in a timely manner, and resolution of identified items required multiple follow-ups. This created a sense that the experience was more reactive than thoughtfully managed. Post-closing support, in particular, did not reflect the level ...

Extremely frustrating to work with. The escrow/lending process was a nightmare they do not communicate at all. They would ask for paperwork but not be specific then they wouldn’t respond. We would send them what they asked for then a week later they would ask for it again because someone was off or somebody else took over your paperwork. Some of them are rude and I was told well I’ll get to it when I get to it if I have time. Then even after I signed me deed and everything was done they called me a month later asking for more paperwork that they already had. If they didn’t offer the incentives ...
