I am so disappointed in the customer service that has been provided to us after closing. I wish I had done my research on Lennar prior to buying a home. I would have never purchased a Lennar home if I knew what I know now. The number of lawsuits, poor reviews, and complaints is just mind blowing to me, but I am experiencing first hand why. We continue to have promises broken by Lennar employees, tickets that are never followed up on, and issues that continue to not get fixed. It is clear that new construction homes are a priority over those who have already given their money to Lennar. I will never recommend Lennar to anyone. ... More

From signing the purchase agreement to closing, Lennar kept me informed, provided resources (lending, insurance), and addressed my questions quickly. After closing, we find our new home to be of sound construction, have very good quality appliances, and include beneficial "everything's-included" features. For any issues, Lennar is quick to respond and resolve.

The individuals we worked with were great, but the quality of some of the materials for the price paid were below expectations. Since most of this was done through subcontractors, and given the region we live in, it is understandable that this was the case. This can be very subjective though given our move from a well priced area of the country to the PNW that is heavily overpriced for, in my opinion, no real good reason.

We bought our house when supply chain problems were getting really bad across the U.S. We put our earnest money down in late February 2021 and closed in the end of June despite having the big Texas freeze in the interim and dealing with labor and supply shortages affecting everyone. It is now November and one of the other builders who charges a lot more money still doesn't have their houses done on this street. Lennar got it done within the time frame they said they would. Lennar was able to secure supplies such as tile, etc, when other builders were having trouble. I think we probably benefited from better supply chains / logistics since they were able to deliver in a difficult climate. They probably lost a month of construction time due to the freeze and supply issues, but still got it done within their estimated closing time that we agreed to. At the end of construction, we had a number of cosmetic and minor issues that we had to identify and rush to get done before closing because they lost so much time with the freeze, etc. On the morning of closing, they had lots of people doing touch up work and getting all our minor cosmetic issues worked out so that we were happy when we closed. Their were a few minor issues they got done after closing and kept their word on. Keeping their word and getting it done was big. They also gave us free French drains in anticipation of slight drainage problems, so we were happy they took the initiative and fixed it before we knew about the problem. The value was great. Some of the other builders are much more aggressive on pricing without offering more quality and not having the ability to finish construction in a timely manner. The sales manager Susan picked out the finishes since the home was planned to be built before we signed our paperwork, but she did a really good job. We've seen some brand new houses that look like they were hit with an ugly stick due to expensicr but poor selections and we were glad we didn't have that happen to us since inventory was so low we basically had to buy from a very small selection of houses. We're very happy with the home's interior. David the construction manager was very professional and kept his word on all the last minute touch-ups needed. ... More

Need more options when purchasing a new home! Now we have to get an arc on everything we want changed!

Lennar really takes care of you during the process. Any questions you have they answer promptly. The houses are beautiful. Very pleased with my first home purchase.

Lennar makes a beautiful home. I just wish i could enjoy it without the constant stress of things going wrong. From multiple leaks and cheap paint, to defective AC causing heat and high humidity. Uneven flooring, broken cabinets, half completed yard, plumbing was FULL of garbage that overflowed and flooded the first floor. The initial rep basically brushes things off and we had to call repeatedly to get things fixed. He was replaced and the new rep is far better. Now they fix things a lot faster but i just don't understand why there are so many things that need fixing in a new home. Things that should have been done right the first time. They rush to build the homes on a deadline while using the cheapest materials possible. They replaced a closet door with one that had mold. Seriously? I had to wait even longer for a third try. My neighbors actually had their house built missing an entire closet in the bedroom. How do you forget to build a closet in a bedroom? The AC wiring was incorrectly ran so they had to redo it along the side of the house as a giant eyesore. It's ridiculous. ... More

Great customer service and quick response!

Loan officer wasn’t as thorough as I would have liked with answering questions and explaining things. I feel like it was assumed I knew and understood things as they were stated. The construction workers were gross. They left trash in the kitchen island after the quartz countertop had been installed. Beer cans were in cabinets when I went to look at the house prior to closing. Construction workers should be more professional and not drinking on the job especially when it comes to crafting the largest expense of most people’s lives.

Overall the home buying experience is good it's once you move in when it gets a bit tricky. Lots of finger pointing when things done get done and financial misinformation was given prior to the close. The companies chosen to do work, like lawn maintenance are not customer service friendly and there is no little to no communication from our point of contact with the HOA.

Beautiful home and wonderful customer service! As with all new builds, there will be issues but all issues were addressed, fixed with NO complaints! Always treated with kindness and respect. ALL involved, including the craftsmen were wonderful.

I applied and paid for the upgraded kitchen. This was supposed to come with Electrolux appliances but instead, I got Frigidaire appliances without consulting me first before making the switch. Already, the refrigerator isn't cooling just almost 4months of usage. The heating/cooling system is not functioning properly. In the summer, the cooling system was not cooling on the third floor. I called the HVAC company as was advised by the sales agent and an appointment was set up for 29th of October. The HVAC company neither showed up nor gave me a call as to why they couldn't make the appointment. Now, its getting cold and the heat is not coming on. ... More

You will end up with a great home, just make sure you point out and issues you see so they can be addressed.

Good people to work with… decent home…but low end appliances…cheaper grade carpet….wall paint could be nicer…Not accustomed to subdivision where all the homes are relatively identical. Rate it 7 / 10

Our first home and we are very pleased

Andrew and his team did a great job with construction of our home. He was responsive to issues found, and had the quality of the home and happiness of the customer in mind at all times. Debbie and the sales team were great in helping us through the design process as well. Very good experience all around.

Overall a very good experience. Our one critique would be that there seems to be a lot shuffling around. We would turn in paperwork or information to one person and then another person from a different section would ask for the same thing. A lot of duplicate steps in the whole process. It would feel more comforting if we had one person handling our case from start to finish. A few times we were worried it wouldn’t happen because all the different people involved didn’t seem to have our information and we would miss our closing deadline.
