Lennar builds homes that are walk-in ready. Their are no hidden costs and everything is included. Other homebuilders charge you for every little thing, Lennar does not do that. They also hire the sweetest staff, from the person who sells you the home to the lender to the inspector to the on site helper person and so forth. You have a 1 year warranty to get anything fixed that you need. It's a bargain when you get solar panels, flooring, recessed lighting, tankless water heater, appliances, and so much more!

Amazing house but lot grading not so good.

My only complaint is the grading of the lot. I paid about 26k for a premium lot with a backyard that is almost unusable. Plus the sides are like valleys of hills to channel water in between the houses.

Lennar has done an excellent job completing our home on time with quality materials. The design, materials, quality of work… everything was very high quality. They kept all the promises and took care of all the small out standing things that we have mentioned during final walk through. Lennar followed up on each of those items and provided quality service . Specially Catherine K in sells and Andrew K , the construction manager, ware very capable of doing their job and made us really happy. No wonder why Lennar is one of the leading builder :)

Every step of the home buying process was horrible. From the agent, to the contractor and now customer service won’t respond to us for a month. Every single person I come into contact with from this point on I will stir away from Lennar. Between the several realtors and businesses in our realm, we should be able to reach many of your potential customers to insure they do not make the same mistake we did by choosing Lennar as our home builder.

Lennar - The price of the home is a was higher than I wanted to spend

The price of the home is a was higher than I wanted to spend and the fact that the taxes will go significantly is discouraging. No one mentioned that when you purchase the home the taxes are based on the land not the house. After the house is built is when you get the real sticker shock

Pre purchase walkthrough concerns dismissed

The pre purchase walk thru representative dismissed any concerns and rushed the process. Several issues raised were dismissed they existed and that Lennar would not do anything to fix them. Home was dirty and needed a thorough cleaning. Other issues.

We like our home. However, the customer service experience is not great and horribly inconsistent. We would never recommend using Lennar Mortgage, terrible experience. I don’t think we would ever purchase a Lennar home again.

Once you get the CO and move in, the work that should have been fixed was not completed on our home. I plan to start with work order for each of the items not completed.

I would not recommend lennar to any home buyer. From the mortgage process to the poor workmanship I have experienced on my home and ability to take accountability, I would definitely hot recommend any of these homes to a new home buyer.

The Build, Project Management and Accountability was Horrible.

Sales and Title was great but the build was not and turnover of the home was horrible.. Had I not personally been involved and physically called vendors over to my house I would not have closed on my Closing Date. Project management and Customer Service from the Project Management team was horrible.

POOR Quality/Customer Service. Rushed to Close.

Our home had been delayed for months throughout the building process. Our sales person kept us up to date throughout this time. We understood due to supply shortages, labor shortages, a global pandemic, a winter storm, etc. We were patient. We had to pay extra to live where we were due to having to extend our lease on a month to month basis. Still....we did not complain. Things were very pleasant through this period. When it came time to close, there was a very noticeable shift to rush US into the home before it was complete. We hired a 3rd party inspector to look at the build prior ...

The pain sucks

This review does not reflect Roger Jason or anybody at all who sold us the house. The workmanship is great for 98% of the house. I got to be honest now that I’ve lived there a little bit the paint and the painting sucks. I have found bare spots on doors I found semi gloss in closets that don’t belong there in multiple things like that love the house the paint not so much

The lack of transparency

Everything is NOT included. Found out I had to buy appliances AFTER I put money down on the house. Also the lot grading was not made clear. The vacant lot was relatively flat and level, but the finished house is now sitting on quite an elevation (steep driveway)

Abysmal experience with builder. Beware. Over 30 items on our punch list were ignored or halfway completed to satisfaction. Should have been a great experience as this was supposed to be my "last" home purchase in this 55 and older community. Instead, it was defeating and super stressful.
