Everything was top notch as far as i am concerned except for i wish they had caulked around the baseboards and doorframes better, been more careful with the drywall in certain areas, and used oil based paint instead of water based or whatever it was, I was instructed to not wash my walls due to the paint comong off. But any problems i did have, the builder, crew, and warranty department were on it. I 100% recommend going with lennar for your next home!

For the fact we paid nearly 1/2 million, there could have been much more flexibility in making small modifications. NONE, and I do mean NONE (structural, e.g. make the 5th bedroom instead of the lof - come on, how much structural was that? WERE ALLOWED!!!

Good, NOT GREAT, quality. Very inflexible. Kept using the permitting excuse when I even offered to pay for the re-permitting cost. TO THIS DAY, they have not fixed the 4x4 support in the basement that has some splitting in it. GOD protect us from harm if anything should happen to that support.

Model home customer service lady was incredible. We asked numerous questions that I’m sure became annoying but she didn’t show it at all. Once we were under contract I thought she would be less helpful since there pretty much was no backing out for us. She continued to be extremely reachable and there for us. It was only about the sale - this whole house buying experience was horrible. It was all about the sale and nothing more than that. I closed on a house and was told that I had homeowners insurance and was even given a policy just to find out that my insurance was canceled two days after purchasing. To this day no one has taken ownership of what went wrong no one has called to apologize and I only found out when I went to buy new homeowners insurance. That’s not the worst part, Every time a vendor came to fix an issue that should’ve been fixed during construction they damaged something else ...

No trustworthy communication between sales and construction staff as to building delays, realistic settlement dates, or other updates. Each side blames each other when you talk with them. If materials are short due to supply chain, so be it. Just tell buyers the closing date is X and not hold to old and now out dated schedules just so Lennar can report sales and home closure progress for investor news. Then on top of all that blame the homeowner for wanting to know updates. Pressuring anyone who will listen for an update. Then be told a song and dance to get rid of me on the phone or in ...

Lennar is terrible all the way around starting with local representatives. I have been in my home for over 3 months and work still needs to be done in my front yard. From the start we had to move in with out our yard having SOD in place. Our final walk through was scheduled the same day as closing day ridiculous! Items found that needed repair or touch ups never got completed and our house was turned into us dirty and filthy even tho I was told a cleaning crew would come bye to deep clean the home a Brand new home!

Horrible Closing Experience (Lennar Mortgage) and unfinished house.

After being closed for 5 months, one of our bathrooms still is not functional. The diverter valve which controls the flow of water between the tub and shower head was installed upside down which causes water to flow from both the shower head and tub faucet simultaneously. Weather stripping is still missing on the rear door (it was never installed). The list goes on and on. I would never recommend Lennar as a builder and would certainly never recommend using their mortgage service.

Unfortunately, the emphasis on quickly building homes and making profits, has impacted the quality of the workmanship and the customer experience. This has also caused long standing repair items to be unaddressed after moving in to the property, which negatively impacts the customer experience.
