Great communication with weekly updates

Was very disappointed in my newly constructed duplex. I have had my previous homes built and never had any of the issues I had with this purchase.The positive aspect is that customer service has been very responsive in resolving the issues

Worst response for issues reported

Very quick turnaround on issues I posted on the web site. I am very satisfied with the house bought.

The blue tape walk through is extremely important and it is a great opportunity they offer.

The sales person was available for questions and thru the process responsive. The project Mgr /construction Mgr. was very helpful and informative. And did the best job of keeping us informed The customer care rep does the best he can to resolve issues timely. The initial mortgage person was responsive and followed up , the person who was handling the final push was not very good, she continued to ask for info provided and right up to two days before closing

Friendly and helpful people and high quality of materials

Compared to other new home builders, Lennar has a better reputation. My only complaint is that Lennar doesn't invest enough in after market customer care. The Customer Care Representative has too many homeowners under his prevue to be able to address issues in a timely manner. If Lennar truly cared about how homeowners feel about such a significant purchase and if Lennar is hoping homeowners will recommend their product, then Lennar should make a bigger investment in their Customer Care staff.

The workmanship and the construction manager was horrible. He was very rude and disrespectful. It felt like our home got started and then forgotten. When we went for our walk through we had 15 or so pages of repairs, the day before we were to close they were still not completed and we were told we were not going to be able to close. We had already given notice, rented a truck and everything; we proceeded to close while they were still working in our home that day. Even after that we have had to complete many warranty issues.This was the worst experience.

Lennar is well organized which made the purchase smooth and pleasant. The people who work in different segments demonstrate professionalism and responded to my question in a timely manner

I love my home. However, issues that have come up that are supposed to be warranteed, or items found in my walk through 4 months ago, are not addressed without pressure from me. That feels shady due to the used car salesman type promises made like “we are here for you, we care, any problems you just call.”.

Please do your do due diligence to make sure grading is up to par still having issues

Still waiting on repairs

I had a great experience with the purchase of my home. From the sales, building process and through closing was a wonderful experience. If I was to give any negative comment it would be for the landscaping. They did a great job with the bushes, trees and the sod but the yard itself in several areas was almost too dangerous to walk on. Several dips and gulleys along with metal materials and large pieces of wood buried just below the surface of the sod was unacceptable. Sometimes I wandered if this was a house built for one of Lennar's executives that the yard would have been prestigious and grated smoothly. I feel every customer should be treated that way. I have to buy several bags of top soil and place in the uneven areas of the yard to make it safe to walk on. Lennar is a very good company. I just had a bad experience with the yard. ... More

Be prepared to be on site daily to ensure quality workmanship and materials. Use of substandard wood products is unacceptable even if “wood is hard to get and you get what you get” attitude. They build these homes repetitively so efficiencies should be passed down to the consumer but is not. Homes are fit together to tightly with no room for mowers to slide through. My air conditioner was hit snd dislodged. The landscapers do not grade yards properly including picking up rocks and proper leveling before laying down sod. Also they set up a founders club if first 15 buyers to run the community. Abit unfair in representing the rest of the community / also it was kept rather secret. Excellent service, always there when needed

I got no help with the sales office. Even though the house had just begun, I was not allowed to make any selections at all.

Our biggest issue has been the yard, it was not graded properly. And my ceiling in at least the living room drywall was not done properly. My sales person Lori was great and my contact for repairs Wayne is awesome

Nice home, but many issues and no response on the issues. Still waiting for the back door lock to be repaired. Not very safe without it! And can still see outside front door when closed
