My wife and I looked at numerous townhomes from different builders. Lennar was very patient, helpful, and knowledgeable through the entire process.

We had a wonderful sales person. Everyone was very helpful and still are. The closing was almost to easy. Would recommend Lenner builders in a heartbeat!

Experience was smooth and well organized.

Lennar provided good service with the purchase of our home and any concerns we had along the way.

The experience has been positive overall. A small water leak was dealt with promptly. No other issues so far with the exception that the final inspection still hasn't been done, and three city won't turn on electricity in my name. Lennar, though, hard continued to pay fort my electricity in the meantime.

Thoroughly enjoyed working with Ana and Mike. Good humans.

Every information shared was in detail. All the questions were answered. People are very kind and cooperative

It has been one headache after the next. I THOUGHT owning a new home would be a dream and maybe because we have never have owned a new home our expectations were set to High. Everything from broken door locks, marred closet doors, scratches on most of the windows, and a kitchen range that doesn't work. We do have a wonderful associate we deal with and she is wonderful. Keeps us informed and very knowledgeable on how to get things done. That being said the house shouldn't have been given to us in this condition.

We had very good experience with both Blake the Project Manager and Caitlin the Warranty Rep for our home. They were very responsive to our requests and followed through to completion.

Buying a new house was a smooth and exciting process! From securing financing to finding the perfect home, everything went well. The inspection and closing were straightforward, and now I’m enjoying my new space. Highly recommend being prepared and working with great professionals!

Hard to get in touch with lennar. No one answers the phone or return phone calls

I will rate everything is a little below average, they are great on showing and explaining everything, but after we the offer was approved, they sent me a bunch of documents to sign and they demanded to sign before 11:00 PM the same day they sent, actually that time in only 3 to 4 hours after they sent, the documents are close to 100 pages with a lot of terminology that I am not familiar with which I needed to reach out to my realtor to explain. I refused and they said they won’t honor the offer if I don’t sign quickly. I refused of course. They ended up extending to the next day. The other thing is you have to expect ridiculous closing costs compared to buying from individuals. Lennar is a very basic home builder whose quality comes in on the lower end for workmanship and materials. They invest heavily in "quality control" and "customer care" that is mostly a facade. That money would be better directed at increasing the quality of labor and adding a few basics like towel bars and shower curtain rods that they cut corners on. If they would adopt a "done right the first time" they would not need an entire multi-level team of "quality control" and "customer care" reps who are little more than dispatchers taught to placate homeowners with words but deliver little in terms of actual solutions. I have had issues with electrical (bad breaker), masonry (bad seals allowing water to trip my electrical), plumbing (low water pressure and random faucet drips), foundation (moisture cracks), flooring (lifted tile), and grading (grading set too high on slab, craters in yard) and have only been in my home 7 weeks. I have had two different contractors no show multiple times, or show up and not complete the work they came to do. The contractors arrive misinformed and underinformed about the problem they are there to fix, without proper tools or crews. I have to invest significant time into waiting on contractors, rescheduling contractors, etc. A Lennar rep does not meet the contractors at your home unless you insist on it, and you are left to attempt to communicate what is needed, often with crews who speak minimal English. It feels like living in a home that is not yet complete, or is undergoing significant renovation, and is very disruptive to your quality of life. ... More

Lennar stepped up big time for us. Mike Collins helped us tremendously with our purchase. We’ll definitely refer Lennar to family and friends.

Overall purchase experience was quick and easy. Staff were all great. However, once moved in there were some issues that needed to be addressed (heater was wired wrong and didn’t work properly, a gas leak and material issues used between the brick and the interior wall) which took time and effort due to the fact that everything has to go through the warranty office after closing. In addition, it seems that no supervisor actually walked thru and did a final quality/control inspection? Things you only discover after living in the house a while. (Poor workmanship on the interior finish, trash hidden under the water heater space and in the attic, no emergency work contact number stickers where the sales office said they were, dirt in all the door jams, window jams, closets, insulation being blown out the vents, missing hardware for kitchen shelves, paint drips on the carpet etc). Lots of little things that were left unfinished that should have been addressed before owner occupancy. I should have been more attentive and personally checked every square inch. I have not experienced same issues with other builders previously. But, the actual purchase experience was quick and effortless. ... More

This was our first time home. The experience was pretty good start from booking to closing . Lennar not only takes care of you at every step of the home but also makes sure that you are settled happily .the service request are also taken care in a timely manner . Happy with my decision

We entered the new home construction process with Lennar late, taking on a project where the initial buyers fell out. Lennar transferred the process to us seamlessly and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Lennar mortgage is the worst. I have been an owner for 2 months. I sent my 1st payment as instructed and they have sent me 2 late notices. Although they cashed my check 10 days before the due date. 3 times I called to get verification and acknowlement. Waiting for a call back from a "supervisor ". Waiting over 40 minutes each time on hold Waiting for a reply. They were disorganized from the start. Nonody at their company wants to talk via the phone. They sold my loan already and still can't get answers from either company. They have made my brand new purchase a disappointing experience.

Average builder but cost effective

There have been some minor issues with home construction. But the Concierge, Construction, and 2 of 3 Customer Service individuals have gone the extra mile in being very flexible and helpful. The main customer service rep assigned to me has been excellent. There were also some issues with the loan process that caused unnecessary delays and misunderstandings. But other employees at Lennar Mortgage rectified the issues. Currently in the process of resolving some inconsistent information. Lennar Title was very professional, efficient and responsive. Overall, a good experience so far.

My name is Angel, starting with the poor communication during the purchase process,I don’t know why they have a concierge because doesn’t help at all, changes in closing date without any notification, however everything was rushed in terms of requirements. My house went more than three months without being touched, leaving everything until the end. The quality of the materials used is cheap,for example the insulation where you can hear the person in the room next door, defective faucets, poorly calibrated air conditioning, touch-up paint that doesn't blend. When you walk in your yard you have to do so carefully because it feels like you're walking on the moon with the holes and unevenness it has, problems with the sprinklers, and many other things. My recommendation: if it weren't for the exclusivity of my community, the house would not be worth what it cost compared to other properties I own with Beazer, including KB Homes. I thought this is my first and last house from Lennar. To be fair the Custumer service department after buying is excellent in special Amy and Alexis. ... More

Everyone involved with the purchase was ok; a little over the top in loan qualifying. When we took possession we were disappointed in the condition. The house was dirty; left over plumbing parts on the cabinets; paint drips all over the floors; very poor paint finishing throughout; paint still on the glass windows, scratched glass patio doors, and many more. Somebody in senior management needs to be on sight to see for themselves!

At first, our experience with Lennar was fantastic. The loan team moved quickly, and everything seemed to be on track. As active duty military members using a VA loan, we were led to believe that Lennar was coordinating directly with the VA on our behalf. However, after speaking with a VA loan agent, we learned that some of the documents Lennar requested from us should have been handled by them, not us. This raised serious concerns about their transparency and competence in handling VA loans. Despite our reservations, we moved forward. Throughout the process, the team was responsive and helpful—until we signed the paperwork. After closing, communication dropped off almost entirely. We never received a welcome packet, and basic tasks like setting up utilities and ordering trashcans became a frustrating, do-it-yourself process. It felt like Lennar's customer service vanished the moment they secured the sale. To their credit, the construction team did an excellent job, and we have no complaints there. However, the lack of post-sale support was disappointing and made what should have been a seamless transition into homeownership far more stressful than necessary. If you're considering Lennar, be prepared for great service up front—but don’t expect the same level of care once the deal is done. ... More

Lennar is by far the worst mortgage company we have EVER worked with. The whole experience was horrendous.
