Me and my friends are great fan of Lennar! But by buying experience was terrible!! I completely understand that pandemic has changed everyone's lives but shouldn't have impacted the buying experience. The sales team was rude, mortgage team was impatient and construction manager was contactless! Just that we need a house to stay close to friends, we have continued with the purchase if not would have quit.

Lennar knows it’s brand and knows it will get customers. Therefore, the have no care or put little value in the customers during the buying stage. With the Exception of Steve, the construction site manager and Lisa, the warranty manager. First, with Lennar, they screwed us over in the home pricing. They waited until the price went up to notify us that an option we had requested could be put in. We had come in a days prior to the price jump and we’re ready to pay the deposit had we had the confirmation. Could’ve done better with home materials

The builder could’ve done better with materials used to build the homes. Lennar at Woodcreek has slabs on the back of their homes but the Chamberlin community across the bridge does not even though the prices of the home were exactly the same. Lennar, build the street like $200k homes instead of $330k homes. If you look at other builders in the community, they’ve put in effort in providing the best stones and bricks. Lennar doesn’t care as long as they get their money. I’m disgusted and will be selling soon. Won’t be dealing with Lennar again. Unless they fix their mistake . 1 star ...

QUIT SENDING ME SURVEYS

We have shared with some of the top people how aweful the communication process was and hope they take it to heart for the Orlando area. Lennar is awful to work with

Though we love our home, the warranty issues are not timely addressed. We have a builder hold up for our fence that we have been actively seeking a resolution to after 4 months. Would not recommend!

Not the most pleasant homebuying experience since this was my first home. Lennar needs to strongly improve their customer service, hire quality contractors to repair the home correctly the first time, and become more transparent with the homeowner about buying a house through Lennar.

We are very pleased with the layout of our home and the location, however, the home buying experience was terrible. The Lennar sales team did not take us seriously. The individual that worked with us during the sales process told us that there was only one “stick” left of homes in our price range… after a week of back and forth we found out that this wasn’t true, and there were two additional sticks that were unsold. The build of the house is amazing. The construction manager and employees are awesome. The realtor we were in contact with from Lennar was so helpful. Our lender with Lennar was awful. Communication didn’t exist with her. Would no recommend using Lennar lender to anyone.

I have purchased Lennar Homes in the past (Cal-Atlantic/Ryland Homes) by far this was the worst home buying experience. If it wasn't for the lot size and location, I should have gone with one of the other builders in the neighborhood (Stanley Martin or Providence Homes). The sales experience was terrible both salespeople were not on the same page and took a long time to get a response back. As far as the builder and follow up person they were great and overworked because they had a lot of building going on, but when I was able to speak with them they were able to respond to my questions. ...

We moved in to the house 3 months back and the drive way concrete had multiple wide cracks, when approached with the problem, the builder is not ready to fix because the external concrete is not covered in the warranty items. So we are not happy with the response.

3rd still not happy

I don't think Lennar is in sink with all of there offices. whey will call you for closing when the home is not ready. if you give then 10 week heads up that you will be on Military orders they don't care and still set you up to close that day even if the home is not done. I think the next time we start looking for a new home we will start by looking for a new builder.

Workmanship - Windows

Overall exterior and interior trim work was extremely poor massive amounts of caulk used to close poor craftsmanship / millwork. MI windows are falling a part - they will all need to be replaced within 12/15 years.

FOUNDATION ISSUES

This was my first home buying experience. I was so excited! However the underwriting process was not great because our loan officer Andrew was less than responsive. We have no lived there for over a month and issues from the inspection are still not fixed. We have two giant nails sticking out of the foundation. we have cracks in the cemenet everywhere. It is just a mess. I would not wish this process on anyone.

This was a horrible experience dealing with the mortgage company. Buying a new house should bring excitement not in this case. Several times during our process, we taught of cancelling our purchase due to the loan department. We will definitely not recommend Lennar to family and friends!

1st Time Home buyer BAD experience

No point in writing a bad review, calling and trying to get answers from anyone who will hear your experience and not down play it as sorry you need to call your sales person. When I did the research and found my home by my self and when you call for a question nothing gets an answer. It was a run around in 360 circles and it doesn't matter here the customer service is not there. Sales person, community manager , loan officer. The only person that made a difference was the notary person and my escrow account person she went above and beyond to make sure I secured everything on time.

Not the best workmanship - I had to submit multiple warranty requests with the first few weeks of moving in. Not the best design/Architect. There are simple changes they could have made to make it better like why could not all the houses have porch entry stairs on the opposite sides? This would have made the porch space actually usable. I think they could have alternated 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom houses as much as possible for better privacy - when you have two four bedroom units next to each other, your windows align exactly and you can see each other unless you decide to keep your blinds ...

I don't know where to begin. Start to finish this has been the worst experience I have had in building/buying a home. We were left in the dark pretty much the entire process. All the people with this company do is put out fires. If you aren't relentless in calling and pressing for answers you will be forgotten. They are too busy to build any home, or give any customer experience of any quality.
