I really have nothing good to say about the experience. Lennar is very slow to respond to issues. I would absolutely not recommend asking for any upgrades as I promise those will get screwed up too. They have already moved on to building the next phase of homes and see little urgency in helping to fix issues with their existing homes. I hope my experience is unique but I don't think it is from what I understand. Good luck if you choose a Lennar home - you'll probably need it

Quality is questionable.They are charging huge money for average or less than average quality. The appraisal of the home is another big issue.If you are unlucky you are ending up paying 50k more for exactly same house booked on exact same day!!All in all no transparency!

We were given the opportunity to "punchlist" the home and many of the items were either unaddressed or the tape marks remained after we moved in. The craftsmanship was really poor, as well as the quality of materials. The project superintendent talked down to all of us on the buyer side, including arguing over a clear code violation until it had to be escalated above his head. It was very clear that the priority was speed to market and margin over any sort of pride in their work or customer satisfaction.

This is not the first time our family purchases a Lennar home which is the reason we are shocked and disappointed by the poor experience. Our home was delayed and finished months later than expected. At closing, items were not finalized. We were promised these items would be addressed in a timely matter. It has been months since closing and the customer service rep and construction manager are not responding to our inquiries as to when the “temporary items” will be finalized. This home was poorly built. We has purchased a Lennar home before so it made sense to stick with Lennar as our MUCH less expensive home was built much better. I'm embarrassed to tell ppl about this $600K home because of the crooked walls, terribly low quality &very poor workmanship. Up until this purchase I raved about Lennar. No more! Now I guide ppl away from Lennar at all costs

Lennar use to have a great reputation for a builder but all has changed today. They try maybe not enough workers but Lennar is not what it use to be. One reason I bought this house is because of Lennar's reputation but all has changed. Maybe this note will help them go back to the quality they use to have instead of trying to build more house than they can handle. Thank you!

They only mean business. They dont care if u missing something. They only nice when u buying. After u complained, They just ignored u. Basically do it yourself kinda thing. Lennar care is good thou. They help u out. Others, thry only good when they dont receive the money yet.

I had a very unpleasant experience. I had bumpy walls that had to be redone after moving in. The frame had to be shaved off. Water leak from the kitchen ceiling after rain. Fireplace malfunction and not practical for use.

Stay away from lennar, costumer service disappears the second you sign the contract. Furthermore they will lie to you about the build quality and potential issues the house might have until you have signed. Do yourself a favor and find a different builder.

Don't ever buy a house over the internet. I used my daughter for help, but my biggest mistake was not coming to Las Vegas myself. I had to buy the home as is, not thinking Lennar did not take care of this house. Its too many things to mention that is wrong with this house, but I'm paying for it now. Never Again !!!

I recently bought a home with Lennar and it was a horrible experience all around. Worst customer service but I could have been ok with that had the workmanship been up to par however when I did my walk through cabinetry molding was literally hanging from the ceiling, floors were the wrong color, tack strips were completely exposed under the carpets resulting is blood being drawn multiple times from stepping on them, no appliances or hot water, and that’s just to name a few of the many issues found just based on workmanship. Choice is theirs. But do not expect a lot. Quality might be lot lower than expectation of buyers. Everyone who saw my house felt sorry for me. And check their included GE appliances especially. Not even buyers choice but buyers will have to deal with the problem.

It was a rough experience from the start. We had a sales man that was just that a salesman. It was tough to get updates because he has to constantly wait on someone else. It would be beneficial once locked in to be able to speak directly with the construction manager as there was a lot of inconsistencies. Even after telling them of the issues with the home early on, on the final walk through these issues were still present. It’s a well known fact that the pandemic has resulted in major delays due to limited supply - why Lennar doesn’t buffer their dates to be realistic and strings you on week by week is beyond me. In addition - City inspections failed due to obvious issues that a supervisor would have noted if they had actually checked. Lennar has turned into a “Reactive”builder and is no longer proactive about getting their homes done right.

From the beginning this has been a poor experience for me with Lennar. I was relocating from WA to AZ and was so excited that my wife and I were able to save up enough money to purchase a home. The sales person that was in-charge of the Arroyo Secco section never listed was worried about getting a commission more than understand what we were looking for.
