Ceiling and wall visible taping many settlement cracks.appliances cheap..oven lower drawer falls out..1 day microwave installed bad had to have company fix. 1st floor so cold.air coming into room from electrical switch and outlets along west wall.envolpe compromise 2nd floor bedroom floor cold over garage also spare room over front door cold. Wam bam get you in construction. Heat comes on every 5 minutes due to first floor so cold along west wall had to purchase humidifier but can't keep up humidity do to furnace keeps running drying out house humidifier good for 2400sq ft.

The experience was wonderful and the builder were great too , at the final stage of the paper work I had a really bad experience and I don’t want anyone to go thru that again it was at the point that I got so much anxiety that got sick and ended up in the hospital for 24 hours ….. She should be more professional with her work and at time needs to learn how to treat first time buyer ….. at that end of the wonderful day it just made me feel like really bad … But now I’m so happy other people have been great and I thank you all

Although Lennar is not a bad builder and i love the home the home buying process was poor. There were five different people I was to communicate with and it was confusing the purpose of each persons job. When I explained this they were not helpful and did not improve the process. Just said “you can call any of us.” But the truth was each person had a different job. Very confusing and frustrating. Once home was moved into and warranty issues were submitted many times the things I put in for couldn’t be fixed. Frustrating as a homeowner. Things that could have been told up front to avoid confusion and frustration and proper expectations would have been appropriate. ... More

As a 1st time home buyer I would say my overall experience was good.

They made everything so easy and fast!

It was quite overwhelming during the initial process because of a ton of emails! Difficult to keep track. Once we signed, response to needs was great! AJ was great and took care of needed repairs quickly!

I purchased a new home at Sunbow II in Chula Vista CA, the home had 25 items that needed to be repaired. The items from the walk-thru on 11/8/2024 were not done 3 weeks later when I closed escrow and received the keys. I would be cautious about purchasing from Lennar in the future.

It’s a hit and miss with this builder. I have worked with a lot of new builds. I had an inspector come to look at the property. For the most part, it was good. With a few items pointed out. Lennar wanted to close really fast. I told and warned them it’s pretty fast and I don’t want a property rushed that I’ll see some misses. They guaranteed that. That’s not what happened. Closed and then a month in, I still have people coming into the house to fix things. Electrical switches not properly connected, hvac trips - came in and out several time and seems people were just diagnosing it guessing. They said welcome to your new home. Here’s the key (code) - doesn’t work! I was able to reset lock because front door was left unlock. Warranty department is trying their best. So far a good. Would have liked some compensation for the time house is still being worked on as I was promised things will be done but I’m paying mortgage now while they still continue working on the house. Seems just fair? But, seems like some people at Lennar doesn’t care about initial impressions and how that can impact the experience of clients. All I heard was just excuses and trying to not own the mistake when they tried to talk to me about the issue. I would say some do care as well, not all are bad, there are good people in that company. I had an issue with the driveway, it had cracks after the cement was poured, I put in a claim and was denied because they stated I already closed on the house and it is not covered, representative Mike stated this to me. I will not be purchasing another home from this builder in the future.

Good benefits and fast process

Dylan, our sales representative, has been a huge failure since sales contract was signed. Either does not reply to our text messages regarding questions or concerns or responds days later. Ray, the construction manager present at our second walkthrough since our first walkthrough was a major waste of time, failed to address many issues identified again and the ones that were addressed, especially as it relates to painting, he allowed poor quality work to continue. Had I known all this jnformation in October when contract was signed I would never have purchased from Lennar. This whole experience has left an extremely bitter taste in my mouth. ... More

Quality is definitely below what we were used to. Previous Lennar home you can see was built with higher standards. Floors squeak everywhere upstairs. Doors are thin as paper. Front door I can see through to the outside barely has weather strip. The wall moves when you pull on one of the sliding glass doors. Dry wall is barely finished. 2nd floor moves when kids run across it.

I purchased a house in 2024 at a Lennar 55+ community and am very happy with the company, their product and their employees. They communicated with me in a prompt manner and helped answer any questions I had along the way. The only thing that was bumpy was the Docusign process.

Lennar Mortgage issued a e check refund after closing. It's been a month and a half, 3 attempts a BOA and one at our bank and can't cash the check. Reached out to everyone we could think of at Lennar including rosiesupport@lennartitle.com. NO body is responding. We have requested a paper check or wire transfer.

Appears to be a quality home, we've only been in it 2 months. We are very happy with the home. They have been very responsive to a few very minor issues we've had.

This is my third Lennar home and I will never go with another builder. Homes are solid and customer satisfaction is guaranteed. Lennar has integrity.

Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable in the process of purchasing the home. I do believe that one walk through and explanation of the function of some of the features of the home would be enough it was very difficult for us being out of state

The upgrade options from the builder are very expensive!

No one knows what’s happening and keep on moves the closing date and on the day of the closing they informs you that they are not closing today. Walk through days mentions are waste of every once time, firstly they give you the date and no one shows up at the house for the walkthrough and secondly when you point anything to be fixed the simply say that’s how it is and cannot do anything now. Everything was cracking up in the new house and when I asked about that they say they won’t fix the cosmetic damage. There are 100s of cracks to wood and walls and joints and nails and screws are popping up from paint. Lennar has the worst built quality I have ever seen. If possible please avoid business with Lennar. ... More

Great team helping complete our home for closing. Any issues after the sale are promptly addressed by the community representative after the sale and completed by contractors in a timely manner. Lennar is very interested in having happy homeowners. Very good value and quality. We love our Lennar home.

MY HOME WAS NOT READY FOR MOVING BECAUSE OF OTHER CONSTRUCTION. AND THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO MY CONCERNS AND QUESTIONS.

I’m very unhappy to have bought this home in a new community. I moved in on 11/27/2024. - I still today, 1/16/2025, don’t have cable/internet service- for the longest time Xfinity said my address is not on the map, then they didn’t have a permit, then they did, and still waiting on the email to continue; -The Master Bathroom toilet keeps getting stopped up but no other ones in the house. While the toilet is stopped up, I can’t run the faucet for more than 5-10 seconds, nor take a shower, as the water in toilet makes a bubbling sound. If I ran the faucet long or took a shower, the toilet will overflow all over the floor; - In the kitchen and Master Bathroom, the grout is terrible; - Even though the shower doors are closed while taking a shower, water still comes out of the doors and onto the floor a little. - The driveway is too narrow and there’s not a lot of space to get myself and things in and out of the car unless you step on the grass. My driveway is not straight but a slight L-shape and it’s hard to place the car correctly and also backing out. Sometimes, the car goes off the sides as I’m backing out, and on the rocks; - The windows were hard to open all over the house, and I don’t feel they are double-pane as I can feel the air from outside coming in and it’s very cold air in Winter; - The smell of manure is around the area as I’m assuming it’s used to grow the grass- so when I go outside, it’s not a good feeling to smell the air; - The tap water smells like heavy chemical- like chlorine; - The house is not designed right, in that, the water line is in the storage room upstairs, so if someone wants to put in a Water Treatment System it has to go all the way upstairs, and heavy salt bags need to be brought upstairs all the time; - The painting was badly done in the house, and Lennar makes the buyer go around with a worker and put blue tape on all the bad spots. The painting by workers had lots of paint drips, and dents and scratches on walls and frames; - It’s way too hot in the upstairs loft area and very hot in the storage room. No one would be able to sleep comfortably in the guestroom without a window open- and therefore, cold air drifting on the person sleeping. I had the plumbing company “balance” the air / vents in house and they said ALL the vents were closed in the downstairs area. The livingroom, dining room and kitchen is cold, while again it’s hot upstairs, and Master Bedroom has a moderate level of heat; - The back area of house- the concrete area is so small you could hardly fit a nice bigger table and chairs; - A window rattles when wind blows harder and the worker couldn’t find the problem, but I’m still left with the sound; - I don’t like that Lennar worker told me that I have to buy all the filters in storage room furnace area, and change the filters every month due to workers outside creating all the dust and stuff in air, and the filter will be dirty all the time. I don’t feel that I should pay for those expensive filters ever!; - The cabinets in kitchen had so many nicks and dents in them, and the left over look on the surface of the cabinets from cleaning swirls of the cleaning fluid; - There’s not a lot of room in laundry room between the machines and wall for moving around and placing laundry basket in front of the machines; - The flame in the fireplace is not wider and taller - and therefore making it look like a smaller flame in the fireplace- which not a very cozy look; VERY UNHAPPY WITH MY LENNAR BUILDING HOME, and my neighbors are saying they are having a lot of the same problems as myself. ...
