The overall home buying experience with Lennar was very positive. Everyone we worked with from our initial contact through closing was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Being kept informed of the status of each step of the home buying process is important to me and the Lennar team did a good job of doing that. They responded back quickly with any questions they couldn’t immediately answer and didn’t make me continue to call them for that information.

Nothing much to say, war is one side. If you have choices to buy then don’t have to buy from Lennar.

We were seeking home with an adjacent living quarters for our daughter and this home came on the market at the perfect time and at the right price. We've had several small cosmetic fixes that needed to be addressed and Lennar has responded quickly and addressed them all satisfactorily.

If I could go back in time and make this decision, I would not have bought this house. The materials and build quality are not great. The rushed job to get the home done and up for sale is clear. Id recommend staying away. The only good part of the experience has been the people, for the most part. Lennar doesnt have a great 24 hour emergency service. My wife and I had to go a night without heat a few weeks after closing because Lennar didnt have a plumber that could fix a part that broke. Other than that the personnel here are nice people, who seem to care for the most part. We hear our neighbors going up the stairs, we hear their music playing and dogs barking. Tells me the walls aren’t as well insulated as they could be. So buyer beware. ... More

We looked at a few neighborhoods but when we found Longleaf Vickery we knew this was the one. The houses offered space and room but a certain coziness also. David was very helpful in answering our questions and helping steer us through the process. The entire Lennar mortgage team made the buying process simple and painless. We now own a beautiful, well-built home in a quiet, conveniently located neighborhood that offers us everthing we need, We appreciate everyone who helped us navigate the process quickly and efficently.

Saw a special end of the year deal online. Called our realtor who connected us to Lennar. Lennar called us, told us that particular house had just been reserved, but that there was another one still available. We did a tour over the phone & immediately put a down payment on it. From there it was about 3 weeks to closing. Everyone we spoke with was great & being on another state, they were very communicative, which was very helpful. Quality of the build was excellent; only wish they included a few more windows (only 5 in the the entire house & they are on the small side). Definitely would work with Lennar again. ... More

I'm still discovering things about my new home. Overall I love it because it's mine but I can see in some areas where the home was rushed. Lennar has been great about quickly responding to issues.

Lennar provides one of the lowest price-per-square-foot homes in our area. That is the best part of our home buying experience with them. I advise you to carefully read the contract before signing it. Lennar Mortgage was unprofessional in many ways during our buying process. They leaked our private information to other parties. The mortgage agent was unorganized and falsely accused us of withholding financial information. Make sure you carefully inspect the home during the final walk-throughs. Our "fix-it" list, which was to be completed before the final walk-through, was unfinished and we had to debate with the superintendent to get them to clean up paint that had been spilled throughout the second story of the home. After closing and living in the home for a couple of weeks we found some more issues. Our living room was wired incorrectly. The sinks in the second-floor bathrooms were leaking immediately after we closed. They cut the granite countertops incorrectly causing the sinks to leak around the base of the faucet. The solution was to try another faucet and a lot of caulk. The faucet is the incorrect type for the countertop. It's not leaking anymore, but it's still not built correctly. Our sliding glass door handle just fell off last week (after 2 months of use). Thankfully, all of these issues are covered under the warranty. What happens when that warranty ends? We will have to pay for the repairs. Considering the challenges we've encountered during our home-buying experience, I will not buy another home from Lennar. Our sales experience was really a horrid experience. We had originally walked away from everything as the lady we dealt with was unbelievably rude to our realtor and would get loud and talk over you CONSTANTLY. We loved the location of the home, floorplan and neighborhood and with the promos still decided to go with Lennar. The financing was pretty normal except for the fact that they don't like repeating themselves if you didn't understand something. At times our tenured realtor was confused... again they were annoyed if she asked questions to then translate to us. It ended up being ok, but wasn't as smooth as one would have hoped. Closing, Derik the contractor and the delivery team were the light at the end of the tunnel. They fixed all of our issues quickly and really made us feel appreciated. Up until then you just felt like a person at a factory and it was a "Well someone is behind you that will by that house kind of attitude". After move in there has been some construction complaints with flooring, drywall ect... just not the neatest job and hollow tiles. Overall the home was built well but the 3rd party finishing could have been a lot better especially for the price point! Love our home... but honestly Lennar... you can do better to improve the smoothness of the process and ensure your 3rd party is upholding to your standard. ... More

We were shown 3 models. We chose one and our hearts were set. Right before signing the agreement to buy we realized the house we fell in love with, was not what we were getting. The elevation for the house we were being sold didn't come, with the porch the model had. Cost savings changes eliminated basement windows the model had. However, the low interest rate mortgage made the house affordable and we moved forward. I had inspections throughout the build, but Lennardid not allow roof inspections. Right before closing I couldn't reach anyone, I never even got a call from the attorney. The closing was crazy only the notary showed up with stacks of documents for signature. No one to answer questions, we had to request a call from the Director of sales. He did call but the notary walked out, as per the title company. The closing was rescheduled and again because the attorney insisted on communicating via text the wire transfer was delayed. I was advised I may have to get my keys from a drop box, I was dumb founded. A few weeks after moving in we had to have the heating rewired, the thermostat was wired incorrectly. Some roof shingles have been moved by the wind. The basement bathroom is next to an unfinished closet, which exposes the tub and a gapping hole to access the trap, it should at least be covered. The door stoppers on one of the doors has punched through the hollow door. Two of the showers have chips already. The heating system installed is a new type of system. The plumbers that have seen it admit they haven't seen this type of system. The Director of sales and the employee who did the walk throughs were the most helpful representatives of Lennar I dealt with. We are happy with the house and pray we don't encounter any major issues. ... More

Home buying made easy. We love our new home.

Overall it wasn’t a great experience. I was not made aware of my lot boundaries even after closing, slates were not installed. Lot of my land is wasted because that I can’t even use and there are bushes and it’s not leveled. There is a slant on my backyard where Walter stagnates but every time I ask builder, he just come up with some reasoning. Bad design : hvac outer unit makes a lot of noise. And master bed room is right above it. You can’t even sleep it’s that much of noise. Same noise is there in the living room. That unit shouldn’t have been placed outside of living room.

Going through lennar was a great experience I would recommend everyone to go through them.

Beautiful community, professionally maintained. We believe Lennar is the best option regarding all around value in comparison to competitors offerings. Lennar 100% delivered, excellent product strart to finish. We ended up with a beautiful home, fantastic beautiful community & great investment

The whole team was great. Buying a house is never easy but they made the process very smooth and were available for any sort of questions that came up. They were great. From the sales team to the lending team, everything went very smoothly. Would definitely recommend. Five stars.

They are very prompt with getting arrangements made for sending people out to fix things. Our only issue is obvious cracks in the tiles are being brushed off as it's part of the pattern.

Too much paperwork, checking and rechecking but all good after all !

Osborn was just what I was looking for no stairs no yard maintenance close to the club house n pools. My only disappointment is a month after I moved in they raised the monthly dues

Lennar has a good reputation so we trusted them. The overall experience for us is alright. Agent was good but as soon as we signed the contract, her responses become less and less and far in between. We noticed as we moved in how Lennar has cut on a lot of things that we expect from a new home built. On the second bathroom upstairs, it is missing a towel rod by the sink, the windows are all fake window in the bathrooms. You cannot open any of them, so you cannot even air your bathrooms. This was the absolute worst homebuying experience my husband and I have ever had. Please make note that this was the experience with Lennar mortgage. And does not reflect Lennar office and sales I counted 75 email communications from eight different people during the whole course of our mortgage experience. Lennar mortgage company is so unorganized. They did not answer questions that my husband and I had and we were constantly back-and-forth. They gave us wrong information. So needless to say this is the worst home-buying experience we have ever encountered. I don’t believe I will ever ever recommend Lennar mortgage to any of my family or friends. ... More

Easy to work with. Liked the timely delivery and response to my inquiries and status updates. Great thing is it has everything and ready to move in except couple of minor things like Water softener loop and shower glass door.

There were some painting issues that were somewhat small but quite visible. Baseboards that were painted but when the nail holes were filled they were done poorly and are quite visible in some areas and the color doesn’t match. Overall, I do love my new home except for that.

The volume of paperwork that could not be changed nor copied to have someone else look at it was ridiculous. Why send it if no changes can be made. We have not been impressed with the electrical outlets in the house.

Great experience and a stress free way to build a home!
