Lennar hasn’t made this a great experience from the beginning. Why not just hire a company to do things right the first time, right? Our home needed many repairs right away, and it took quite a few attempts to get it corrected. We had taken multiple days off of work, to have nobody show up to our house to fix the issues. The closing was also less than expected. They were still asking for us to submit documentation post closing.. sounds like they didn’t have their ducks in a row-right? I would not recommend Lennar to anyone looking to buy a house.

Over all I would say it was an excellent experience. The only thing I would say is that the man that was the project manager was, unprofessional and crossed a couple of lines during our walk through.

I don't now recall the name of our builder rep because we never met him. Tim was there in his stead the whole time. Tim was great! The warranty rep was nice and responsive as well. The sale rep was also kind and helpful. I will say that the choice of using regrettably cheap paint, the state of the garage (inside) left by the builders, unfortunate choice and handling of the sod, and drops of paint left on my carpet was not cool. My ultimate negative issue is that of only having ONE external hose. It is inane that there is not one on the opposite corner or at least one in the back yard. What a huge inconvenience for the homeowner. I would expect better quality paint, appliances above the cheapest option, and a bit more care put into the garage walls and water spout placement. ... great investment home for my budget

Ultimately, I'm happy with my new house, everything was built properly, and professionally, and if there was a defect, it was fixed. My Experience was annoying during the process of signing the paperwork. Whenever they needed me to sign something, it was while i was at work helping out a customer, and because I did not sign or read their emails immediately, I was sent a second notice that read, "as of this time, on this day, at this hour we sent this document to you and you have still not responded." how rude and they continued this behavior after I've told them multiple times that I'm not available. The communication among themselves was not great, because I had to repeat myself over, and over again that I may be waiting to receive the documents, or information they are asking for. That didn't stop them, they continued to pester me to give them the documents or to sign their documents. Ultimately, everything worked out, but they are extremely pushy for you to sign their documents. They need to relax, and calm down, I still managed to have everything ready before the deadline, but not because they rushed me. I did not need to be rushed though, so for that I give them a 1 since I cannot give them a 0. But the house is fine, I'm happy as my first house, so credit needs to be given where credit is due. Jordan was a great Sales person though, he Helped me find the house, and was very kind to explain so many details about owning a house and the process to buy one. The Lennar team was really nice during the purchase process. It was too much electronic signing, not enough explanation of the entire process. At least with in person, paper signing of closing documents, important pages were explained. I got zero explanation of what I signed, no time to read through everything. About a month after I closed, I texted a member of the sales team and the reply I got was not very nice. The reply was, “this number is not a good contact number now.” It was a weekend day when I reached out to this person and I just feel like as a member of the Lennar team, this person should have helped me regardless and I was surprised by the reply. I feel like this person didn’t want to help me anymore after I closed on my house. The response time to get warranty work scheduled is kind of slow. After I put in my request, somebody contacted me right away. I ended up canceling a warranty work order because I was trying to set up everything on the same day, so I can only miss one day of work. I couldn’t wait for calls/ emails to schedule. It seems like more than a week went by when I heard from someone about the other items. ... More

The experience was like I was purchasing a home using the sellers agent to represent me and the agent's primary concern was in the interest of the seller not mine.

The sales representative, Carl, was wonderful! He went above and beyond to answer any and all questions I had, and to assure me that I was getting exactly what I contracted for. I had an awful experience with another builder before I found Lennar, and Carl was very sensitive to my fears going forward with this home purchase. Oscar, the construction manager, was fantastic as well! He listened, answered my questions honestly, and gave me full confidence that things were going along smoothly and on schedule. Every step was explained in detail. Even after I moved into the house, Oscar was willing to answer more questions and take care of a few things that needed tending to. I would highly recommend Lennar Homes, and these two gentlemen in particular. ... More

Overall, the home buying experience was ok, it was after and the issue I had was getting creditors checks to pay my bills; it took 3 months....very unacceptable. Messages were not returned from the office on 410 and Jones Maltburger, I feel I was just ignored.

Closing was a smooth process! I am very satisfied with my new home! It was worth the purchase! I love the residential community as well! Very diverse!

John the realtor made the buying experience extremely stress free. This is actually the 2nd Lennar house we purchased in the community.

So far the experience been great!!!

Overall, the house is very nice. The floor plan is exactly what we were looking for as we down-sized. Complaints: It is designed for the Jolly Green Giant. I cannot reach the rods to control the blinds. The blinds are really nice, though. We had to have them replaced so this 5'4" homeowner could control the blinds. In the bathroom, I could not reach the shower head. My 5'11" husband could, though. There were no security bars in the shower and only one towel ring for the primary bathroom, yet it had two sinks. Not very sanitary. We paid to have the blind rods adjusted, added an additional towel ring and two security bars. BTW, we were not even offered any of this because the builders had already decided what was in the house, even though they were still building it. My last complaint is that this is a 'smart home' purchased, evidently, by dumb buyers. We are still trying to get all the appliances registered. I really like the portal they offer for some of the problems, though. Unfortunately, they closed my complaints even though I said we still have problems. The sales staff and all the other employees have been great, though. The problem may be that Lennar does not make consessions for anything out of the ordinary. ... More

It has been a struggle to get anything done or adequate communication after signing the contract. The walk through and closing was a horrible experience and I'm still struggling with post close issues.

Over all is good. The workmanship of the house is good, however after we moved in the floor of the padio and the garage cracked and we were told the warranty does not cover that. That's a little disappointment. It's only a month since we lived. Cracked floor should be maintained by them.

Everyone tended to our concerns and address them

The overall process of purchasing this property was great.The realtors and finance managers were professional and knowledgeable.Keep up the good work and thanks for sticking with us through the whole process.

Horrific craftsmanship, no response to concerns. Floors are not even worth what Lennar even paid for them

Ok, it went fine, could have had better communication on HOA fees.

It was our first home and it’s been wonderful, thank u Lennar team for making it possible gif us yo own a home. Very grateful

Fair work and fast responses

My Lennar loan officer lied about the incentive. It left a sour taste in our mouth. It was too late to walk away so we had already wrapped up at our previous place. It was not until we asked for final number (the breakdown for cash to close was not provided until we pressed for it) where the lie came out. It explained why they did not want to provide us with the number until the last second.

I am really excited for our new home

So many things were requested after the inspection but not fixed before closing but was told it’s taken care of. Bit good thing is that they took care of it when I showed them those issues after closing. Your mortgage was very high in interest and for some reason felt like they were not interested in my business.
