From the beginning of the whole project, I can say that when we came in to see the homes, we liked the design of the home. They were very simple and basic, but their prices were actually very good which helps you because it lets you customize the home as you like in the future a lot of builders like to build their homes very nice and customized and that’s nice too, but you do pay a hefty price for it sometimes so I am very happy overall with the quality of the home. It’s a big blessing for my wife and for myself and the whole team from the beginning of the sales team to the loan officer Marco to the closing, everybody was very very responsive and they did the job very well And even after we closed the home, we do sometimes find things in the home, which is normal with any home you build brand new regardless of a builder or even yourself and they do take care of the issues fairly quickly. Gene, Carmela, and Yvette were incredible! They were so good at helping us be prepared and very quick and efficient. They’re truly the MVP team!

Beginning the day you buy if you have a problem with something such as an unused appliance it has to go through a complicated warranty process. The warranty process made me produce confidential closing papers to prove I, not Lennar owned the appliance. I had issues with two appliances on day 1.

Response time to complaints is poor.

A disappointing experience. The personnel have been very nice throughout; however, this does not make up for the other issues. The quality of material is terrible for the price paid and there is no attention to detail. The finish work, in particular, is shockingly sloppy. Some of it can be touched up but many items will never look they way they should. We didn’t expect perfection, but this suggests work being done as fast as possible with no regard for how the finished product looks. Does no one have any pride in their work? I so wish we hadn’t purchased this home and I’m very worried about it keeping its value. This was a huge mistake. I wish we had paid more attention to the poor reviews of other Lennar homes. The salesperson could have been more friendly and accommodating. It felt very unwelcoming. The construction manager we had went out with pregnancy complications twice. Both times, no one followed up on her jobs. We were left hanging having no idea why she wasn’t returning phone calls. I think someone should follow up with clients when their construction manager is out more than 2 days.

Great experience purchasing the. Working with the sales person remotely, she was amazing helpful and completely knowledgeable. We were able to see finished homes in the area of the home purchased. The home purchase was similar. The walk through was informative and given professionally. He was able to answer all our questions.

We are mostly happy with our new home. We have been disappointed in some of the low quality of the final workmanship of the home. Doors that have huge gaps on the sides or rub against the frame. Poor job of caulking. Stains on the countertops. Baseboards that are not tight. Walls that are not square. All things that we were not able to notice at the time of the final walkthrough. Things that as you live in a home, you find over a period of time. Generally speaking though, we are overall pleased with what we got.

Our house was good and our salesperson was great. They responded to our needs but we found two things wrong after closing that we missed in walkthrough and we were told by warranty people they don't fix those under warranty. I think that was awful and you would want to make your new people happy. I voiced my displeasure with the warranty people.

I should have stayed at Oltoff builders in Clover grove! First walk through problems not taken care of, second walk through problems still not taken care of. Once you close no one seems to care All the big electric boxes and the AT&T bic should have been put in the backyards. Looks terrible out front. Bad Bad Bad!!

I must of dealt with 8 different employees when I had a real estate agent. I did all the work of the agent. Talking to 8 different people is not only confusing it was hard to hold anyone accountable for the mistakes.

We hadn’t bought a new home in awhile and just stopped by to check it out, but the area, price and design were too good to pass up. Lennar is there with you every step before and after the sale- in person, email or phone! Lennar really wants to make sure you are happy!

Buying the home was the easiest process. Everyone was so attentive and kind. Trying to get ahold of anyone now to go over things or answer questions is impossible.

Builder need to provide new buyers with accurate and updated contact information with a full guide on how to obtain utilities services

It was a easy smooth experience everyone was attentive and very helpful things I didn’t know was explained the only thing I would recommend is make sure you know what’s being built in the home you’re purchasing and what’s all included but for the most part I’m happy and satisfied

Lots of nice promises, but a complete failure in following through with those promises. Assigned a "concierge" to help with the closing process who was completely useless. Closing process was delayed due to Lennar's failure to have the paperwork ready. Pre-closing inspection seemed to go well except that very little of the inspection faults were actually resolved. Installed dead sod, breaking multiple sprinkler heads in the process, failed to respond to a work order for a faulty circuit breaker that tripped every time the refrigerator compressor kicked on, installed a fence with severely warped lumber, and the list goes on. Great experience from start to finish

Overall rushed, sell sell sell.a lot of feeling of false caring.

From showing us the house . To going through the loan process. And doing our walk through. Everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful . We had been looking for awhile and just happen to pull in to see the new houses . So glad we did. We love our new house and appreciate all the help we got during the process.

Very fast resolving minor warranty issues

Lack of flexibility to make minor changes to things as simple as the color of wall paint was frustrating. Bathroom fixtures didn’t match drawer pulls, ceilings were not painted, etc.

While our initial experience with Lennar's sales representatives was positive, the construction process quickly revealed significant shortcomings that left us deeply dissatisfied with our new home. Pros: Friendly Sales Team: The sales representatives were helpful and attentive during the initial stages of the home buying process. However, their involvement significantly decreased once construction began, leaving us feeling abandoned. Cons: Poor Communication and Lack of Transparency: Lennar failed to proactively inform us about critical milestones like the pre-drywall inspection. It felt like they intentionally avoided scheduling this crucial walkthrough, hoping we wouldn't ask for one. This lack of transparency created an atmosphere of distrust. Unacceptable Construction Management: The construction managers lacked basic people skills, making interactions frustrating and unproductive. Their dismissive attitude towards our concerns added to the overall stress of the building process. Missed Opportunities for Quality Control: Lennar refused to allow a "blue tape" walkthrough before closing, preventing us from identifying and addressing cosmetic defects. Their focus shifted solely to the warranty, which explicitly excludes cosmetic issues. This policy leaves homeowners stuck with flaws that should have been resolved before finalizing the purchase. Subpar Workmanship: We encountered numerous instances of subpar workmanship and questionable material choices. While Lennar was somewhat responsive to these issues, the overall quality of the construction fell far short of expectations. Late Introduction of the Home Buyer Concierge: The home buyer concierge, who is supposed to guide buyers through the process, was introduced far too late into the construction phase to be of any real assistance. This valuable resource should be integrated earlier to provide timely support and address concerns proactively. Overall: Our experience with Lennar was marred by poor communication, a lack of transparency, and a disregard for customer satisfaction. While the sales team was initially helpful, the subsequent construction process was riddled with frustration and disappointment. We would strongly caution prospective buyers to consider these issues before choosing Lennar as their builder. ... More
