The loan officers that I worked with made the experience very stressful even though I am not a first-time home buyer. My last experience of buying a home was not as stressful as this.

Horrible communication with all parties involved with Lennar. Lennar agent saw us show up with our realtor and advised us last minute that we would not be able to use him. We were pretty much on our own throughout the whole process.

This is our 5th new home build. The care and attention to detail is by far far and away the worst in this home. If I were a trades person, I would be embarrassed to leave a job that looked like many of the "finished" work in this house. I think this could be a beautiful home if attention to detail and some care was used.

I can’t over emphasize how much support I was given from the whole team once I toured my prospective home. The initial sales team even offered support much after their part in the purchase was completed. The loan officer was exceptional from start to finish. I also had a concierge that was extremely helpful with guiding me through the final steps of the closing. If I needed help with something I was given assistance literally within minutes. The support was always there no matter how insignificant the issue may have been. The warranty team has been extremely responsive with correcting any functional or craftsmanship issues. They have an online system in place to manage any issues. I feel like Lennar has taken great strides to ensure my utmost satisfaction with my home. ... More

We have been denied our due diligence. Incomplete work and after a month we’ve made no progress. Leaving voicemail with no returned calls. No door stops in the house and bad flooring in the great room. It’s separating and sticking up above floor level. PLEASE HELP! I’ve already spoken to BBB. If something is not done I’ll be filing a complaint with the BBB.

My experience was great. Everyone was very helpful, polite and friendly. Especially my salesman Roy, he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The construction and finishing work was great. We have no regrets buying into Savanna Lakes.

Customer service is second to none. Marisa was very helpful with purchasing process and between her and Jordan all issues were taken care of asap. Now for Chris he has been helpful in every way from day one, we are an older couple and he will check every now and then to make sure all is good.he treats us more like a friend than a customer. Chris is a absolute asset to the Lennar family and we are thankful for him

The Good: Lennar is a quick builder. The Bad: The home quality is not the best. There are some things done great, like the master bath and the gourmet kitchen. However a gourmet kitchen consist of a gas range top and a stainless exhaust hold. And the gas top was left unmounted and slid around the first time we cooked on it. Had to have that fixed properly. Understand these are spec homes with a 40 day start to finish turnaround. As you can imagine, this is a quantity over quality home build. Make sure you order your own home inspection prior to your first walkthrough before closing. It’s $500 well spent. Lennar will not tell you what is not correct in your brand new home. If you don’t see it or point it out, Lennar will gladly sell it to you just the way it is. Broken or poor quality. They will gladly sell you a poorly built home. You will have to pay extra to have your garage painted after you move in. That’s not optional. You will have to install your own towel and toilet paper hardware in the bathrooms after you move in. Lennar doesn’t supply those either. And no mention of that when purchasing. A first for me. The drywall finish and wood trim craftsmanship is terrible. We found lots of areas that needed repaired during our walkthrough before closing. The Lennar project manager for our home walked through our home for four hours and taped the areas of repair or replacement. After moving in we realized that the tape had only been removed and most of the repairs were not fixed by the day of closing. So we have had three rounds of repairs after we’ve moved in and still ongoing. Pre home inspection revealed the attic insulation had areas with 4” of insulation. Had to have contractors come back to spray more insulation. The concrete finish in our garage is horrible. Lots of divots, lumps, gravel is almost sticking through the finish. Lots of cracks in the floor. Crack across the main foundation footer at the garage door entry. The sidewalk your door is the same. Terrible concrete finish. And they broomed the finish different directions on the same sidewalk. The master bathroom shower tile had lots of areas with no grout. Lennar sent someone to fix. The halfway did it and left smeared grout all over the tile. Had to go back and wipe everything down before it hardened. Back patio concrete was not finished at the screen door and there was large opening along bottom of door. Lennar sent someone to fix. The basically took cement and filled the gaps. Now the concrete looks patched and poor quality. The bottom of the screened porch where it meets the side of the house had about a 1” x 4” gap that was left open for snakes and bugs to access the screen porch area. Just terrible quality. The dormer window glass over the front porch was left broken. Had to have someone replace that. Pay attention to the electric, light switches and electrical outlets. They are placed in the most odd places. Some light switches in our home were place 2 feet from the door. You have to feel around in the dark to find them. The electrical plugins are randomly spaced on the walls. About one per wall regardless of wall length. So not very user friendly to use if you want to conceal electrical chords. There are 6 lights in the kitchen operating from one light switch. Lennar is installing the absolute bare minimum switches and electrical outlets. When you open the electrical breaker box, you will notice there’s are more blank spaces than used spaces. That’s because they installed bare minimum electrical devices. The 11’ x 17’ screened porch had one electrical outlet. Horrible design. Ceiling lights are minimal. One 4” glad LED in all rooms except kitchen. The living room has one 4” LED in the middle. The lights over the kitchen island are not spaced evenly. So you can’t change out the 4” LED to a nice pendent light unless you have the lights relocated. I think the minimum lighting is installed so you can’t see all the horrible craftsmanship during your walkthrough. The heat pump piping is installed in the master bedroom wall and the pump outside the window. As you can imagine, it is loud and the pipes vibrate in the wall. Absolutely horrible design and location. You will hear the noise as long as you live in your new home. And Lennar will not allow any change to the plans or equipment location when building. The walls and ceilings are all one paint color. Gray. That’s all you get. Both garage doors had to be readjusted to close gaps. My advice, don’t mug a Lennar home. If you do, get a home inspection before you close. Ask to see the building plans and make sure everything is where is should be. Be prepared to spend alot of extra money after you move in to upgrade all of the lights, paint, and else upgrades to make your home how a normal good quality home would be built. Be prepared to settle for less in a home, and to pay more for less. Personally, I would never recommend buying a Lennar home after our experience this year September 12, 2024 up until today November 14, 2024. If I could sell and move without the burdens, would do so today. Do your homework for different builders and compare quality on the quality and craftsmanship between builders. The entire Lennar team was amazing. Buying from out of state, all of them provided support along the way. Providing online doc signing made the purchase process a breeze. Everyone was friendly and kind. A special thank you to my rep, Chad. I had a list of questions he was always happy to answer. Thank you Lennar! I appreciate each and every one of you.

Vivian our sales agent was great. We also loved our interactions with Lennar title. Our LO Kelsy was also helpful. We did have great experience with the front end super and the concierge position (new to us this time around). This is our second Lennar home and while our new home is beautiful we can definitely tell where the builder decided to cut back - we’ve had more issues with this home and have noticed a downgrade in quality work, options, and materials. This home was almost 200k more than the first and has lesser features, options, and quality. We also wish we had been told about the landfill being less than 5 miles from the community- the smell is sometimes unbearable and we didn’t even know to research something like that prior to buying - you don’t know what you don’t know. So, we do wish someone had been more transparent about that. Overall the lending experience was average this time around - we had some serious and very avoidable issues with the mortgage processor and UW team only days prior to closing - about something we had already asked about months ahead of time. And unfortunately our warranty rep, while friendly, is not super willing to help or be flexible (unlike our first experience). We’ve had some defects WE have had to cover - and we’ve only lived here two months. If we buy another house, we will definitely consider Lennar but this particular experience this time and the step down in quality has given us cause to weigh our options in comparison to other builders and the resale market. ... I am a first time home buyer. Lennar is truly a one stop shop. I would highly recommend purchasing a home from Lennar.

Excellent buying process. Quality of workmanship in the home construction mediocre. Low end flooring, cabinets, etc. But perhaps fits the price range of house. Very good follow up on service issues.

We have been very happy with our experience with Lennar. Every person we encountered seemed to truly care about their workmanship and our satisfaction. The response to any situation or issue was/is handled quickly.

Actual home and build quality is good. So far, no major complaints. The issue with Lennar is how they treat you once you close and move in. Despite multiple complaints, construction manager has done nothing to prevent construction crews from blocking my driveway for hours every day while other homes are being built. Dismissive attitude, stating “luckily they will be done soon” when I brought up that I can’t leave for work or I’m not getting packages due to blockage. Gaslighting me when I bring up issues like missing paint, air bubbles under flooring, etc. “Nothing is perfect” is the response. We’ll see how the 90 day repair submission goes, the list is long. Overall a decent builder, and only thing that’s affordable in my area due to lower interest rate/deals by Lennar. Happy with things for the most part, but don’t expect the service you received before they took your money. Secondly, Lennar mortgage was a MESS. If I didn’t stay on top of every little detail, and basically do the job of loan officer and underwriter, my close would have been delayed, and my mortgage payment would have been late. This is our 2nd Lennar home experience and this was first class. The home is beautiful and well built. The value is exceptional. The neighborhood is amazing. But what stands out the most was the responsiveness and thoroughness of the build team. Call out to Kobe for building an amazing property and Hamilton for a delivery and follow-up that was exceptional. With a team like this in place - Lennar is a trusted buy.

My experience with Lennar (Rhett’s Ridge 50s) has been FANTASTIC!! My FABULOUS real estate agent Donna C. Helped me find this property after looking at several properties prior, Rob D. Showing us the (MY) house who I will say is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL and made me fall in love with the Aurora floor plan - such a fantastic sales consultant. Then my loan approval process with my loan officer, Miguel M. who was VERY helpful, informative and professional - such a AWESOME loan officer. All three helped make my dream of homeownership come true!!! Just a few little cosmetic issues I’ve had in my home, however, Lennar has resolved them. I’m overall VERY HAPPY with my decision to purchase my dream home with Lennar (Rhett’s Ridge 50s) as my neighborhood feels quaint and peaceful and just a 30 minute commute to my office in Orlando. Please check everything very carefully before accepting house. There are many issues in the house and warranty sucks. Please stay away from purchasing Lennar if you have other builder options. Lennar delivers poor quality house. Also their sales and construction team is very irresponsible and careless. They usually don’t listen and deliver on promises they make to customers.

Multiple callout provided on Poor workmanship, Finally the Construction Manager, said that is the design of Lennar and they have seen the pattern in all houses. The design of structure is poor. On the day of closing , got the key and opened the door with lots of dreams, happiness and excitement, shattered into pieces looking at the with so much dirt. Called the construction manager, sales manager and they were not available. Latter received the call saying he personally check and house is clean. This is the quality Lennar provides.

Overall the best place to buy a brand new home.
