Overall, our experience with Lennar was subpar. The number of issues found during our inspection was alarming, but the worst part was the pushback from Lennar when it came to fixing or addressing these issues. I had to create a punch list and consistently follow up with the construction manager to ensure things were getting done. During the final walkthrough, numerous issues were discovered, yet I was assured that Lennar’s QA process would leave the house practically turn-key. Unfortunately, this was far from the truth. I even had to argue for a large section of drywall exposing the strike plate to be fixed and went around the neighborhood to gather proof that my house was the only one with this issue. Outlets were not installed at the same height, and I’m not sure there’s a single 90-degree corner in the entire house. Under the carpet, you can feel nails and debris as you walk. Every door’s trim is chewed up but simply covered with paint to hide the blemishes. The overall craftsmanship definitely needs to be reviewed. The only positive experience I’ve had in this entire process was with the sales agent, Mike, who unfortunately no longer works in this neighborhood, and my warranty representative, Martina. Martina has been working tirelessly to make things right when issues arise, and it’s clear she’s advocating for the homeowner rather than Lennar, which is a relief. Our builder was amazing, and Jayden our construction contact has been so helpful every time we had any question. Meanwhile, our Lennar mortgage guy committed fraud, didn't give us closing numbers until 90 days before closing and bait and switched us by making promises about credits that he ultimately couldn't keep.

The home and sales team were great. They were very helpful. My main challenge was with the Lennar mortgage where I did not get the interest rate I was originally expected due to delays and lack of response. Then when I finally agreed to buy down the rate and signed all of the contracts and paper work then I was told 2 working days prior to closing that I could not get my rate. Very disappointed that I did not get the rate that I was expecting but everything else was great.

Waiting for clarification on the above. Now my concern is after some touch up after patio construction that I may have to re-fog coat or paint 3 elevations. to fix the discoloration.

I was so excited to find a home that fit my budget. The floor plan was perfect. The location convenient for shopping and providing easy access to local events and entertainment options. Reality set in. Quality of home, once I remembered I wasn't in the luxury market, is acceptable. Pay attention when you do your final walkthrough to minimize return visits from the trades to fix issues. Quality of appliances that were included were entry level builders models. Be prepared to buy your own refrigerator and laundry appliances. Lennar builds homes at a variety of levels. I'm sure their more expensive models include bells and whistles - that's built into the price. The quality of some materials are not the best for this type of construction that is a good class.I have spoken whith the people of customer care (Nikko)and his feedback has been none.I still waiting for a new number for claim and visit my home.

Overall, it was an OK. Experience would’ve liked to a couple of more home choices and to have a screened in patio, which I see they are doing on all the homes that they are building now and the ones that were previously built. I talked to several people, and they all have screened only a couple had to put them in themselves And the street specially in South Carolina with all the bugs

We were only casually looking to move closer to our kids and grandkids. Stopped at a sales model and talked to sales lady. She listened and took us to a model nearby. Was exactly what we wanted. Signed papers the next day. Waited on home to be completed and moved in 10 weeks later.

We do enjoy our house but the hassle and problems we have had in just the first weeks alone are worrisome. To start from the very beginning we never heard from our mortgage loan officer. We reached out multiple times and never heard anything until the day of our closing. He sent us an email only to say our mortgage lender was changing. We did our blue tape walk through a week before our closing date. They completely disregarded everything that was blue taped. When we went to our new home orientation the day we closed there was still blue tape everywhere. Mud on the carpet, cracked windows, paint scuffs, floor scratches, dust everywhere etc. I pointed out multiple times how trims and doors were cut uneven. Darryl said he would have it fixed... never did. They definitely never sent out a cleaning crew. The day of orientation Daryl had a cleaning crew come and all they had with them was fabulouso and a rag. No vacuum mop or anything to clean up from the builders. To make matters worse our basement had leaks that no one caught. Darryl said he would bring people over to fix everything… and again he never did. We thought he had our best interest by saying all the things would get fixed but as soon as he left our new home orientation we never heard from him again. After putting in a warranty ticket we were connected with Scott. While Scott did bring out a team of people over there is still so much that was missed after our blue tape walk through. We are still waiting on the replacement windows that were supposedly ordered by Darryl the day we closed. Our basement still has leaks that will need a crew to be sent out. A few days after we moved in we had a leak come through into our kitchen. Luckily Scott was responsive and had a team out to get everything fixed. After closing Darryl let us know that in 60 days he would contact us about a crew coming to address any concerns that came up with our first few months of living here. To no surprise still no contact with Darryl. Lennar builders took little pride in building our home. Very sloppy work. Very concerning for a new build home. ... More

Yesterday the construction guys accidentally splattered cement on our newly constructed swimming pool and the deck around it. A construction guy came but I didn’t hear the doorbell because I was in the shower. 10 min later I found out what happened and I texted the construction manager (Gerry). He didn’t even respond. I have to get someone to clean the deck and repaint the affected areas. I believe it was the responsibility of Lennar.

We love our new home. And Heros made the home buying experience a breeze.

We love our Lennar home at the Venue at Longview. We purchased the Saratoga model. I only have 2 issues. I opted out of the drywall repair offered by Lennar and did the repairs myself. But having to fix almost 40 nail and screw pops is unacceptable. I understand the home has to settle but screw pops should never happen. They use 1 1/4 inch screws. Their not long enough and their not tightened enough. Nail pops are a given but screw pops should never happen. Secondly the installation of the Shaw Sunkist hardwood flooring, specifically when it comes to applying the adhesive has to improve. There are numerous hollow spots where the adhesive was lacking when installed. Also a few boards had to be replaced because the top layer was peeling off. It's a nice floor. We love the look of the floor but the quality of the flooring needs to improve. Overall though we're very happy with our home. It's much easier to maintain than the 4 bedroom colonial we had came from. The clubhouse, pool and gym are all very nice and they have and offer plenty of activities to participate in and socialize with your neighbors in the community. ... More

Heavily implied sod and trees would be delayed until I was able to arrive at the home. Told it would be documented. Neither happened and there was no follow up on the matter. Trees were replaced but sod left to me, which will cost me $8k out of pocket to replace. Multiple breakers keep popping and have to keep submitting work orders. Garbage disposal never worked. Dishwasher stopped working. Wasn't told there wouldn't be window screens. Multiple areas still need touch up paint. Multiple areas weren't cleaned from paint droplets. Overall feel I was taken advantage of and not properly assisted throughout the process for my first ever hone purchase. Very disappointed in Lennar. ... More

Love our new home! Lennar is good but you still need to make sure you’re on top of things. We had a lot of items that needed fixing in our walk though and even after they didn’t get everything- you need to be really diligent. We had some things come up after we moved in that needed fixing and Lennar has been really great about it. Very quick about fixes. A couple things are clearly pretty cheap like the carpet and the fake tile in the bathrooms but some other items are higher quality like the cabinets and hvac system. Over all we felt we got a great deal using Lennar and would recommend them to any of our friends and family. ... More

I'm a 77yr old widow who moved here from ga. Actually did everything on line except for closing and I could have done that on line also. The Lennar team helped me every step of the way. Aberdeen is close to the beach and is perfect for retired people. I love it.

Lennar seriously needs to look at there home buying process from the bottom up. Sales people need to know more about the product their selling, I had an independent inspection done of the newly constructed house many incompleted items, a lot code related. Some where corrected then PM said he would correct remaining issues himself after settlement. Off the record never seen PM since. If this is the way Lennar does business it’s no surprise the sued all the time. There the reason production builders get a bad reputation. If Lennars PM (Lou) dot return as promised to finish my unfinished punch list then I might join the rest of the public taken legal action not only to Lennar but privately against the PM ... More

From top to bottom our experience with Lennar was top notch. From start to finish. We love our new home and would definitely recommend Lennar to anyone who is looking to buy a new home.

In general terms, I think it was a good choice to choose this residence and the LENNAR construction company, very good advisors at the service of a client. thanks for the help throughout the process

Our private inspector, sad that the house was really well built everything that needed to get done after closing was done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Lennar homes to anyone looking

My experience with Lennar was great. Everyone on there team was well appointed in their skill. I felt like I was in the right hands from the beginning. There were a few problems after doing the inspection but Lennar was quick to resolve them and made the process easy. I’ve had the pleasure of working with their consumer service team and I couldn’t be more happy with the experience. They were prompt and thorough with helping me take care of any problems. All in all I’ve been very happy and confident with my purchase. Thank you so much.
