We recently moved into our new home, and overall, we are very pleased with the quality and design. From the first walkthrough to our final move-in, the house exceeded our expectations in terms of layout, craftsmanship, and overall value. The attention to detail in the construction is evident, and we truly feel this home was built to last. That said, our experience with the sales process wasn’t as smooth as we had hoped. While the builder’s construction team delivered on what they promised and responded to most of our inquiries in a timely fashion, the sales agent didn’t provide the same level of attentiveness. There were moments when communication could have been more proactive, and we sometimes felt left in the dark on important updates. For anyone considering this builder, we would recommend them for the quality of their homes, but be mindful of staying on top of the process yourself. I feel like I was rushed into buying my second choice of the units since the release procedure was somewhat unexpected in terms of timing. Sometimes only a few hours before the Buyers response was needed to confirm. Eventually, my sales agent did give me a heads up on a unit that was available, but wasn’t my first choice, the reason I took it was your prices were going up every week. I guess The services and offers were much better in northern California compared to Southern California My friend got a house in El Dorado, California from LENNAR and her solar panels were paid. I have always thought highly of Lennar until now. The purchasing experience was very stressful and the whole process was disconnected. The sale agent, Trisha was very unprofessional and stopped all communication with me after I signed the contract to purchase the home. The original finance officer, Sandra transferred me to another finance officer without notice and that is when it became extremely confusing because the numbers changed and there was no clear explanation. Construction team was a hit and miss, some were great; others; not so much. The only team that made it bearable was the customer care staff. This experience was smooth as pie, unlike going to get a home already dolled up. I signed paperwork, which was expected, and everything was easy to read and understand except for the money portion I had to get clarification on it. Other than that I had a good experience and would buy more properties.

Matt has kept his word with anything we had brought to his attention, nothing was dismissed. Making us feel all our inquires mattered and made our experience a positive one! Great job Matt, words matter.

From their customer service to their final closing it was the most stress free experience I’ve had purchasing a home. 2 months total time from initial contract to final close. Amazing

For the few issues I have had they have done an excellent job in resolving them.

Loan officer Jason was amazing and we’re Extremely happy with his service. Overall, the neighborhood is great however, several items on the house were not completed correctly. Also, very concerned about some of the other items I have brought up…..I have been unable to get a phone call back from Lennar about my concerns. However I would definitely recommend buying from Lennar to my friends and family

Good people responsive trust people

Didn't qualify due to not meeting the FHA requirement. I asked Lennar to send my Earnest money back. It has been weeks and still waiting. Only thing I got was they sent me a document to sign that said Refund back to buyer: $0, without any explanation. I did not sign it and am still waiting for my earnest money. I am writing this review in hope that someone can make this right

I like my new house and all involved.

Issues with the condo as soon as I moved in. Whoever does the final walk through missed numerous obvious issues. They use very low grade contractor grade doors and counter tops. The sheetrock and paint work was very poor. Issue with bathroom vent spent the first month trying to get that fixed. The Hvac company not very knowledgeable at there job. Oscar air

When I first reached out to Lennar, I was really excited about buying a Lennar home. Come to find out the whole buying process involved poor customer service with all communication by text or email and long waits for your questions and concerns to be answered. You will get phone calls when they need something but do not expect lennar to pick up your calls. The mortgage people sucks and will not communicate in a timely manner. We love the floor plan but most of the things in the home are standard and is what you see in the model home. You get what you pay for. The overall walk through was fine since touch up was completed prior to move in. The best experience so far is the customer service from Elijah. He helps with all the issues after move in to ensure the issues submitted are taken care of during the one year warranty. ... More

Overall pleased with selling process. The home is spacious and a value for the money spent.

Danny was great!! He always returned my calls and listened well to my concerns. He was very helpful in connecting me to the mortgage process. My main concern with my Lennar experience was the delay of my closing. I did not have any items to correct after my orientation. Construction would not move the closing up and said they needed more time !!!!! My daughter came half way around the world to help me move. I believed the letters that Lennar sent saying that Lennar never misses a closing. Nothing made sense other than no one wanted in construction wanted to bend.

Actually pretty horrible experience. Timeliness was horrible. Updates were never given. Loan officer and associates would never answer the phone. Blue tape walk through issues weren’t fully addressed. Overall build and quality of the home is terrible. The flaws are starting to show. Major corners were cut and the integrity was compromised. Grass install was terrible and even after watering multiple times a day, it still died. Fencing was constructed terribly. No straight lines or even sections. It’s already falling apart. Ceiling insulation wasn’t complete. This list can go on about how terrible the construction and integrity of the house is. As this was my first home I had many questions and concerns. All my questions and concerns were handled in a prompt and concerned way.

The prebuilt town homes have very cheap appliances. I had to replace all of the appliances. The town homes also do not come with can lights throughout, so expensive to add on a town home with upstairs. It is a dark place later when the sun goes down. I had a lot of issues since I moved in which is not normal, as I have purchased 3 new homes in the past from different builders without any issues.

I don’t like construction manager updates

Really a 2.5-2.75 star rating for me. I want to start by saying I really love the community and my home. I have found some of the materials and initial painting to only be so-so. There was some patch work done in our master bathroom that wasn't painted over just before we moved in. Not a huge deal, but as a brand new build you expect perfection and don't expect small projects with your home right out of the gate. I have also noticed the paint on the walls is very easy to scuff and when cleaning seems to strip away very easily. Almost as if their wasn't good priming done first. Same with the baseboards. That brings me to my second point.The fact that the garage door opener was not included, neither was the attic space ladder/closure in the garage. It wasn't disclosed to us before purchasing the home, so be aware you'll have to put in some additional money for that when purchasing one of these new build homes. Not the end of the world, but a bit annoying. The biggest thing that rubbed me the wrong way was how pressured I felt to opt for Lennar financing. I found and went through my own mortgage broker, but looked into the Lennar financing just to see my options. When I decided to stay with my broker I got calls and texts flirting on the line of threats and harassment that my loan might not go through but that their team could secure it. That doesn't leave a good taste in my mouth. As I said nothing was straight out threatened but heavily implied. Definitely walking a gray line of my legal rights of freedom to choose financing. Luckily, I moved forward with my broker and had no issues- just as my broker reassured me there wouldn't be. Beware of these tactics as well! Again, I do love the house overall and my community. Just wish a few things had gone a little differently. It will make me cautious on who I purchase from in the future.... ... More
