We bought this home as a second home to beat the heat of Florida Summers. Lenard’s people are caring and want to resolve issues. We have experienced some things we have not seen before in other 7 home we have owned. Our plumbing in half the house backed up after 3 weeks, floors have major dips in them and light is showing under front door threshold. Things I believe will get straightened out. Just kind of a pain. The house looks nice and will ultimately do, for why we bought it.

My experience with Lennar was easy and uncomplicated. Working with Darci at Lennar mortgage was super easy. After moving in I’ve had to report a couple of minor issues and they have responded quickly with professionals to resolve the issue. Most of all I’m so happy with my new neighborhood! Thank you Lennar!

Chaotic purchase. Their in house mortgage/underwriting has poor communication overall but the customer-facing people were great. The house itself is beautiful, but really frustrated with the patio especially. When I walked through the first time it looked as if the patio floods during heavy rains and I asked the builder about it and he assured me it was all construction dirt….. turns out that the patio definitely floods when it rains. Small construction/finishing errors throughout the house that aren’t huge but definitely do your walkthroughs in person and be as picky as possible. Ally did a great job showing us the exact location we were looking for. Small issue that have come up were taken care of right away. Really enjoy the amenities and the friendly people who we live around. Closing was not a positive experience because they closed on so many homes on the day assigned to us.

The AC contractor does not even check if the system is working correctly or not. He installed it and left the AC to run continuously and not responding to the temperature we set it for. The FPL invoice ran into hundreds even with no people inside the home for over 45 days. Next is the water heater was not even running the hot water and the construction manager does even look into these either during walking or closing. Next is the cabinets not even provided and once again the construction manager promises that they would be completed by closing but 5 days after they were not completed. Next is the audit of the loan that is being done by Lennar which is their internal Process, the lennar agent keeps asking for various documents even after closing. They don’t spend time searching for the records which I submitted before closing. The whole process of buying a home with lennar is not a pleasant thing. To add up finally the Construction manager and St loan processor were not up to the mark in performing the duties and the Quality control by whoever at Lennar needs to check for appliances to work the right way when installed, these are big ticket items to repair when they go wrong. ... Overall, we are very happy with our townhome. Other than the garage, the workmanship was great, but we wish there were window casings, Crown molding, and towel bars. They offered a nice incentive package to be applied towards closing, but didn’t tell us until after the fact that a portion of that would go to buying down the interest rate with Lennar Mortgage.

From start to finish, we are very pleased with our purchase experience. The initial contact was professional; our rep listened to our wants and needs and worked with us to find the home we wanted. We wanted our choice of elevation and location above all else so we opted to skip using our own realtor. I can absolutely say the Lennar sales rep helped us into the right deal where we have truly feel we got a good deal. The design center was a breeze to work with. Our requirements were simply to get the flooring and cabinets we liked. That could not have been easier. We used Lennar to finance the purchase and again, they came through with more competitive rates than anywhere else. We shopped a few lenders and Lennar beat them all. Kudos to the Lennar Mortgage team in Las Vegas. And finally the construction management team for our community. The site managers are simply top notch. They kept us informed and helped answer all of our questions and concerns. This is our fifth home and quite likely our last. We love the Desert's Edge community. Lennar over promises and does not deliver. They rushed me through the process and promised things would be fixed BEFORE the closing. That did not happen.

Lennar has responded quickly, but after nearly 2 months many issues are still not resolved. The workmanship is poor, and we have been dealing with a very hot upstairs due to A/C issues. The price and location was good, but we have been underwhelmed thus far.

From start to finish my experience was outstanding, my sales representative went up and beyond the call to keep me updated on the progress of my home, my building manager was so on point during my walk through he identified a few things that I over looked, everything was taken care of the express closing was spot on, it made closing day enjoyable for me. Thank you Lennar I love my home you all did an outstanding job making my path to homeownership possible and giving me a great experience AWESOME

The experience has been great. My wife and I don't have any complaints. There were a couple of items that needed to be fixed after we moved in and they were fixed immediately.

Lennar has been pushing for closing homes before they are completed. Quality controls are suboptimal. I will list issues that we encountered after closing. We were not provided keys to the front door for almost 4-weeks after closing. Door locks had to be replaced on Patio doors because the provided keys did not work on them. The Mater bathroom toilet, sinks and showers were blocked and needed plumbing work. The HVAC need work because Freon was low and the vents were not properly opened. The crown moulding had gaps that needed fixing. Multiple Cabinets had chips that needed replacement. Doors and walls has areas that needed coats of paint. Stucco missing in areas of patio walls, Baffles on Roof Vents missing.Outdoor light was crooked and needed straightening. Landscaping - outside tree is bending, and Neither Lennar or the HOA will take responsibility to fix the problem. Quality of appliances and materials used is poor. Each item requires tickets and takes time and waiting to get fixed. We are not the only ones who have had problems on our street. Lennar has fixed some of these issues under warranty but it requires persistent and perseverance. ... More

Overall experience was good. A little disappointed regarding some items that were not explained properly during the process, specifically the marketing of the property compared to what was delivered (square footage and covered balcony patio).

When we showed up to view the home before we bought the Lennar agent did not even know which house we were looking at on the street or what was included in the property. Then she was high pressure to sign a contract that night even though we had sent in our deposit. She never mentioned the 7 day right to cancel, not that we were looking to cancel but since she didn't know much about the community, we wanted to review some things. The lender was even worse. So many times when things were questioned, the answer was wrong. I asked about holding title in trust and was told VA doesn't allow such which was not correct. That was a Lennar overlay. We would receive emails for documents stating upload them in 48 hours and then weeks later get asked for more. Even at the very end, we were asked for additional documentation that we felt should have been covered up front. Then Lennar Title sent us an addendum to hold it in trust and when I questioned Title I was told that was a mistake. The site super never responded when we contacted him for questions on pools and other items. He told us pools were limited to 400 sq ft per the city and that was not correct. Just felt like no one knew their job. I expressed to the lender that she better stay with a builder where clients have no choice but to use the in house lender as she would never make it in the real world where she has to gain the business versus being an "order taker". She couldn't calculate credits and her supervisor had to get involved. The quality of craftsmanship has been extremely disappointing since we moved in. What other builder only puts one switch into a room for the ceiling fan and no switched plugs for lighting. The only good Lennar person we have interacted with so far has been Doug. Amazing at customer service. We had a much better experience with our purchase from Century Communities a few years ago. I have myself been in the Real Estate business for 25 years and would not recommend a Lennar home to a friend going forward. We have spoken to neighbors and all had what sounded like similar experiences. The closing process was harder than it needs to be

This is my second property at the same community. Their processes and service went downhill. Quality is not as good as my first property. For example, floor, countertops, details to finish the house to mention a few. Also, they didn't include features that I got from the first house in order to 'save' a few dollars. A month later, I still requesting new services claiming warranty of some issue. By the way, my first home was bought on 07/23 and the second home on 05/24. So, there's not even a year of difference.

I waited for nearly 12 months until interest rates became affordable. Lennar's offer and interest rate made the perfect deal at the right time. I couldn't afford not to jump on the 4.7% interest rate offered by Lennar in a prime location. This is my second Lennar purchase. The second time was nearly the same process and perfect experience. My sales consultant Jennifer made sure other options were include in my price point. She was amazing. Love Lennar's style and concept!

1st time buying from the builder. Was very confusing and people are not very helpful.

The Condo kitchen vent is not taking cooking smoks out, this is an big issue for Asian families, I have been trying to point this issue from the very begining when I started this purchase deal. The Condo management - Tropical Asles' person who is responsible for Condo structural changes is very non responsive to my request, if I don't get its approval to install a vent to take cooking smoke out, I might consider selling it as this condo is not suitable for Asian cooking style. Secondly, there is a negative side by not installing a fresh air intake in the condo which makes indoor air quality bad overnight with long time no air exchanges, in Minnesota housing regulations, this is a must have, normally contruction will drill a hole in the basement somewhere, and use flex alumi hose to bring fresh air into the basement close to the furnace fan, then the fan will blow fresh air throughout the house, I lived in this kind of house for 40 years, I never need to open my window to get fresh air. I think Lennar needs to consider this in its new designs of condos ... More

To a person, sales, experience center (where you pick finishes), escrow, construction, service and maintenance, every person we worked with was terrific. Lennar clearly has built a strong culture focused upon service and integrity. Did everything go perfectly? No as that is impossible when you consider all the complexities… but what differentiates great companies is how they behave when there is an issue and I can say with full confidence that Lennar steps up and does the right thing. Super happy with the Lennar team we worked with!!!!

Lannar teams the best

Love the home, floor plan, location and price -- however after the sale and move in we've been disappointed. Many quality and workmanship issues have been found (including several walls that aren't square, interior and exterior paint, driveway, sprinkler system, trees, shower glass and tiles, sinks, flooring, grading and lawn prep. There is a lack of follow through on most issues. While the neighborhood is still under construction it is understandable to a point that there will be areas of unattractive piles of materials, trash, etc. However, it is a almost unbelievable as to the unattractiveness has been and tiles, sinks, flooring, grading and lawn prep.
