Thought we made a good choice. Buying part was rough and a lot of bad information and uninformed people. Once moved in, if we communicate issues found, nobody cares or shows up to fix them. Really thought Lennar was better than this. Thought wrong.

My experience was just fine.

As first time home buyers, we have had an amazing experience with Lennar Builders. The service, the discounts, the quick responses, their accommodative staff, and not discounting the wonderful home that fits our need, have all made our experience a dream come through.

Since Day 1 when I made the final walk everything has been a complete bad experience, the first thing the contractor told me when I made claims for details of the house is that I was not buying something customer, I moved with a kill in my garden that lasted more than 1 month in being able to be changed, 3 weeks ago I had a flood in the room below and they even blamed me for doing damage to the property, mojo the carpet in the room and they went today to check it and apparently the girl who was has Covid since he says that it has no smell, even though I was told that they were going to change it for everything I have been through, I would not recommend them in my life, it pessima atencion a al cliente and pesimo service de guaranto. ... Not super happy may choose another builder next purchase

The quality of the homes is terrible. I've never had soft walls that you can damage with a finger nail. The structure itself is sturdy, but the materials they use are low quality. Considering the price I expected a better quality home, but anytime I mentioned my disappointment, I was told "you pay for what you get in your price range". I am paying half a million dollars! I do not expect to be met with cheap building materials! The people in customer service are great to talk to and are very friendly. However, anytime I asked a question regarding internet, irrigation, quality of home, air conditioning, etc. I was met with vague answers that never actually answered my questions at all. They were unhelpful and I was left to figure everything out on my own. It was extremely frustrating. I needed answers and nobody could provide them. We were the first street in the subdivision they were building and we did not have internet for an entire month, and the subdivision next to us had been waiting for internet an entire year. In today's world, I expect more. They escrow team also failed to provide documentation to the city, so I had to wait several weeks before we could put our names on some of the utilities, such as trash and water. Not having trash and recycling cans for several weeks after moving was ridiculous. The air conditioning also took several weeks to figure out. We were headed into over 100 degree weather for weeks on end and our air conditioning was not cooling the house well. There would be over 10 degree differences between upstairs and downstairs. When we asked the company, who had installed the air conditioning, how the system worked and attempted to troubleshoot ways to get the degree difference within 5 degrees, the reply was "sometimes that just how that system works". Excuse me, but I have never lived in a house my entire life with air conditioning where the upstairs was significantly hotter than the downstairs. I have been in houses without air conditioning that are that way, but never one with air conditioning. The type of system was new to me. After several weeks of racking our brains on what the issue might be, we finally figured it out ourselves with zero help from Lennar and the company that installed the air conditioner. It is safe to say I will not be buying a Lennar home again. If I had known that I would be dealing with all these frustrations upon buying a home from them, I would have never given them my hard earned money. ... More

The Sales Team was AMAZING (Craig was Great) Sammy & Kris were also Great. however when it came to the what was promised with the home at the Final walk through and did not get what was promised and Lennar is now stating they will not do anything to make it right, Also I would recommend at closing you shut down the sprinkler system as I was not shown how to use and 104 thousand gallons used in 25 days I am now responsible for. Is costing me the same as my Mortgage amount.

Very unsettling not getting towel bar in the bathrooms. Thermostat was not compatible with WiFi when we were told many times it was we had to dog it with the Ac company to get it resolved ( had to change thermostat)?Chris did help us reimbursed. The soil has many rocks and construction materials in the soil. No light in the pantry. No support with smart appliances, door and ring setups. The dinning room light outlet box was not center to the room we had to pay to have it corrected. All and all it was a frustrating experience.

Overall good experience. Had to work through a couple things, but our sales team and lender were very up front and kept us in the loop. They also helped with explaining a lot of the process with home buying and underwriting. Construction team was good as well and repaired everything on our punch list super quick before closing.

The home is good. Walkthrough was informative. HOA is responsive.

Everything went great. We had many questions and they were all answered timely.

Complicated, not easy process at all

I complained that my new AC system doesn't cool down in the afternoons & they claim it's normal as long as its 20 degrees cooler inside than outside so 80 degrees homes with 100 degree weather outside is normal to them & they won't fix regardless of the so called warranty. I'm 1 of MANY neighbors with the same complaint left to accept these hot conditions.

Sales person difficult to get in touch with. Did not return calls. Warranty issues were identified as being completed but were not. I took possession of the home and there was paint everywhere-both inside on the tile and outside on the pavers. The counters were scratched AFTER I did the walkthrough. When asking questions or for help I at times just got no answer. Also, expected the same home as the model but many things were not included. There was no discussion or information about this. Too bad for you is the attitude. I would go elsewhere.

Lennar or Lennar's employees dont take care the customer; specially in the mortgage process. It is very sad, the customer pays the payroll for all business in the world

I can't speak on craftsmanship after only owning the house for 2 months time will tell. But while in process of purchasing the house I worked with Aurora, as my mortgage agent. The amount of incompetence I experienced was astonishing I had to resend the same documents 4 or 5 times I can only assume because she didn't read my whole emails. Even after the house was closed I had issues with her threatening me legally because I stopped responding until I finally had to break down the math myself to show this "expert" how bank accounts work the threatening emails and letters have stopped for now I assume she finally figured it out. I am a real estate investor that was looking to buy another house in this neighborhood but my experience in the purchase of this house has made me look elsewhere ... More

Overall, the experience with all the Lennar staff has been very good. They understand what customer service means to people like my wife and me. The only comment about needing improvement is some of the contractors following up. The lack of getting a contractor to resolve an issue doesn't reflect how hard Dan and Zach are working to resolve the issues and due to their efforts we are are making progress. Greatly appreciate their level of effort and customer service.

LENNAR HOMES CHEAP BUILDER MATERIAL quality Company

While we are grateful to be in our new home, the purchasing experience was difficult and much more painful than it should have been. From the beginning, we were transparent with the sales agent, Mike, and we wanted to purchase in the community. Yet, we had to follow up with numerous emails and phone calls over a period of weeks to get the buyer's paperwork started. I'm convinced that the only reason his partner, Robyn, finally followed through is because they wanted to close the deal before the end of the calendar year. Despite not having been responsive themselves, they imposed fast deadlines before the EOY, so we were cramming to submit everything before the holidays. Once the purchasing paperwork was completed, we went through an even more problematic time working with Lennar Mortgage. The loan officer we were assigned, Javier, is even slower in responding and is entirely unprofessional. He would not respond to emails. Instead, he would call at inopportune times (e.g., 8 or 9 PM), not leave a voicemail, and send a text just saying "call me" with no context. Whenever we were able to connect on the call, he provided conflicting information between conversations. Hence, my husband and I stopped answering his calls and texts, demanding all correspondence be written via email. He ignored the request for written communications for quite a while. He continued to call, leave no voicemail, and text for a callback until I firmly (in bold, underlined, and capital letters so he couldn't miss it) said that communication would only continue if he responded in writing. Other examples of his unprofessionalism - (1) he tried to run our credit without informing us prior. We only found out after he texted us to say it was a failed attempt because we keep our credit frozen most of the time, (2) pulled our credit multiple times instead of the twice promised - once at the start and once before closing, (3) he would not respond for several weeks at a time (no auto-response) and when he finally did, said that he was sick or out of the office. We wanted to be diligent home buyers and set up a third-party inspector to report on the house. We asked about a (1) pre-drywall inspection and (2) pre-move-in inspection. We learned afterward (by physically visiting the neighborhood) that drywall had already been installed, and instead of notifying us of this fact, they just ignored our inquiry. When it came to scheduling our inspector before move in, we were told that we had to abide by their policy that the inspection must occur "within the five (5) days prior to the New Home Orientation" one day prior to the New Home Orientation, despite multiple email and phone call followups prior. Fortunately, they allowed us to schedule our inspection, but again, this was after so much time spent trying to abide by their policies after contacting them time and time again with no response. The last thing I want to call out, although an annoyance more than anything, is that our closing date was pushed up without notice; we just found out that we were closing when Mike reached out to ask if we would pick up our keys over the weekend. All of our paperwork and correspondence had pointed to the end of May, and we had maybe 72 hours notice before we actually closed. ... More

We were provided with regular updates during construction and any questions we had were promptly answered. Our construction manager, Scott, was especially great

Stephanie the sales agent was wonderful as was Joe who did my orientation walk-throughs. The lender side of things started off ok but when I started asking questions or responding that there were errors in the paperwork, the friendliness was gone and I was told time and again that "well, these are not the final papers" - not "thank you for pointing that out, these aren't the final papers and I'll make sure X is updated." Or even when the paperwork was sent including a note - "these are not the final papers, just where we are at this moment." I am a meticulous person and when legal documents are sent to me to review - I review them completely and point out issues. To be told that I basically wasted hours of my time reviewing documents which weren't the final product was frustrating. Moving on to the house itself. On the surface, the house is beautiful but when you look more closely you see that it was built to be done as quickly as possible and the heck with the details. The floors are not level anywhere, and I don't mean it slopes to a side because of settling - it hasn't had a chance to do that yet. I'm talking about the fact that every chair in the dining area rocks, floor shelves also do not sit level, and when you walk across the floor there are hollow areas where the flooring compresses down to the slab. When installing blinds, we discovered the window areas weren't square (not same width between top, middle, and bottom), plus one of the windows appeared to not have a complete header as there was only drywall to screw in to and no wood behind it. But the absolute biggest disappointment was the lack of water pressure - it is simply non-existent - from taking a shower to watering the lawn - everything is that much harder because of the lack of pressure. The biggest positive of this home is the community of neighbors, it's just a shame that we don't have a clubhouse to actually gather in, and the pool area leaves a lot to be desired - chaise lounges that are too low for people with knee issues, a very small deck around the pool, and not an umbrella in sight.
