The financial process was the only part that I will commend. The construction manager interaction is a very definite no. Too many excuses with no solutions. It took me verbalizing that I was not married to the house and could walk away before my concerns were taken seriously. I enjoy the home and it meets my needs. I cannot in good conscience recommend Lennar.

We love out floor plan and some of the features. Once your are in the home, you start to realize the shortcuts or quick work that left behind flaws. We have had to put a decent amount of work into it, getting little things fixed and taking note of others to watch. They don't install anything around fireplace to make it safe for the walls/paint like a mantle or tile. There's no tile backsplash in the kitchen. Some of the mirrors are nice walls hanging, while others are builders mirrors. Doesn't make alot of sense. And then some of the pain and work is just crappy in the end.

Fell in love with Davenport model. Karen, our sales rep, was outstanding. She took her time and went over everything. No pressure - we came back and finally signed on the dotted line. Karen took us on a tour of the lots available and when they would ber readyl. Lennar was willing to delay closing a week so that we could close on our other home. Our home is what we were looking for. The closihg and walk thru were very smooth. Outside work was done quickly. Very friendly neighborhood.

The unit is a quality build, but trying to find out information on HOA matters is very confusing. There’s like 4-5 different contacts and I can’t figure out who to contact. Leland Management gave me the wrong information.

We had a budget and tried to buy several houses, but we always found them to be too expensive for what they were. I had to constantly follow up with the seller to see if the prices had dropped. It turned out that houses I had been offered at higher prices—and therefore couldn't afford—were subsequently sold to other people for much less (information that is available online). I was very disappointed because I tried to make a purchase several times, yet I was never offered the prices that were extended to others (prices I would have gladly accepted).

I feel that the lack of communication is where things get hard. When you’re a first time home buyer you have so many questions and things to get done but no one communicates. Even when you ask it feels like you’re a bother because how they respond. This entire process was stressful and very unprofessional. If I could re do it, I wouldn’t choose Lennar.

Beautiful home! I wish some sort of security system existed.

Our experience with Lennar couldn’t have been better! From the first time we met our Sales Rep to the day we got our keys, she was very helpful, friendly and always responsive. We absolutely love our well build, well designed house. Everyone at Lennar has been fantastic.

From the beginning, In between, closing date and beyond. What a great team in everything! Go Lennar!

Yanxi was very informative and very quick in responding to us. was a smooth and easy transaction.

Underwriting was a pain. Lack of communication among the employees and some not returning calls or emails. Had to upload the same information several times. Very frustrating and upsetting. Now that it’s all over we love our home and are very happy even though we needed a brand new air conditioner within the first two weeks. Other than that no major issues with our home.

Wonderful experience throughout the building of our home. Excellent craftsmanship and value. Would highly recommend.

Be sure to check work on home thoroughly.

This process can seem overwhelming but remember this the people here at Lennar are here to help you and assist you through the home buying experience and they will.

Lennar real estate agent and builder were amazing, no issues there. Lennar Mortgage was a horrible experience. The messed up the paperwork for a Veteran loan, then accused me (the disabled Veteran) of lying. They only worked the issue after two days of phone calls and repeated evidence provided of their mistakes. After closing, requested copies of all mortgage paperwork, and have been ignored by both the Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Alabama head of customer experience. Terrible and humiliating experience working with Lennar Mortgage. Find any other lender.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my Lennar home. The entire process was smooth and well organized from start to finish. The quality of the construction, modern floor plan, and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. I would not recommend Lennar as your lender the experience was awful. I almost walked away until I found my new lender who had the deal done in 2 weeks

I think lennar makes great affordable homes. And they do their best to make things happen. Overall very happy to have made this choice.

Lennar made homebuying easy. We bought our property on line and everything was as it said it would be. I’d do it all over again!

Don't get yourself into a time limit for selling your own and buying another without being able to select everything you want in your new home.

The process took about a month total. The hardest part was underwriting. They needed so much info and changes. If you stay on top of what they need the process goes smoothly. The representatives and mortgage counselors were responsive. There were a few minor issues in the home, electrical. Hoping to catch all these issues in the first year.

Overall, the home buying experience was positive, except the closing. We did not get a lot of information that we expected, and the attorneys were not very organized.
