The craftsmanship is very poor. House left a mess and many simple issues that should have never had to be dealt with. Need to improve on quality control.

First off. Praise the Lord for this home. Tbh my ratings are probably low because of the TERRIBLE experience we had with the lady salesperson. Worst Communication Ever!!!. She closed the deal and was almost impossible to reach after that. We also went with another lender because of almost as bad finance communication. But… the pre sale walk thru guy was awesome! And. The warranty guy has been great so far!

Good price for san diego but keep an eye on quality. They build houses against the clock so theres lots of defects on the houses. Be ready to be patient with them and wait to see if they will help you get it done correctly after you sign it. They do not care of delivering good quality to new homeowners.

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience with the online home buying process. While we are absolutely thrilled with our new home, I must express my disappointment with the overall communication and organization throughout the process online. The process of submitting required documents proved to be quite challenging, as we encountered delays and inconsistencies in responses. Despite our timely submissions, there were prolonged periods of silence and requests for duplicate information. It was evident that some individuals involved were not fully equipped to handle online emails and documents efficiently. Upon reaching the closing stage, we encountered additional obstacles with requests for unnecessary documentation and proof of income, leading to further disorganization and frustration. The lack of clarity and poor communication from the loan team exacerbated our concerns, leaving us feeling perplexed and dissatisfied. I feel compelled to highlight the credit person who provided exemplary assistance and demonstrated a clear understanding of our queries. Regrettably, this positive experience was overshadowed by the overall dissatisfaction with the process and the team's inability to address our concerns adequately. In light of these challenges, I caution against engaging in online home purchases without thorough consideration and understanding of the potential drawbacks. Great service overall. A few details were not taken care in the house but closing was fast and easy.

I was impressed with the level of detail the builder gave to the house to make it my ideal dream home. The process was smooth and all minor issues were addressed during the final walk-through or within our 30-day grace period. Lennar is a great builder and I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home with technology and great house fixtures.

Russell and Maurice were great in my transition to Lennar homes. They were responsive and prompt with everything I needed. I really enjoyed working with them.

Poor customer service by sales agents .very rude and unprofessional responses.

Buying a house with Lennar was the worst experience I ever had. I started the process June of 2023 and didn’t move in until the end of April of 2024. My new home consultant was the worst poor communication, he lied every chance he got, then he quit just two weeks before I had to close on the home. His manager knew the issues that were going on and barely helped. She was provided all text message and emails and was shocked how he spoke to me, but nothing was ever done. Come to find out it was a known issue with the new home consultant many people suffered because of him. How Lennar Conduct business is awful. Very poor communication. They treat clients like garbage. I did ask for my down deposit back I was told no that if I don’t purchase with Lennar, I’ll never be able to own my own home. If I could go back in time I would not purchase a home with Lennar. ... It was a real pleasure to work with Steve from North point who took us to Rancho Canyon to look at homes! I love the open concept and facial look of the homes in this community! Everything was pretty much online and electronic which made it easy for us as buyers! Thank you for a wonderful experience! We love our new home!

I felt like a valued customer! The construction manager took me through the home several times as it was being finished and has always been available to answer questions. The couple of small issues I have run into have been responded to and dealt with immediately. The whole process was so easy and there was help from Lennar all along the way.

The home is absolutely beautiful! I couldn’t believe that Lennar made it so easy to get into a wonderful home! The house is beautiful, and the building, sales, and finance teams were all very responsive and easy to work with.

We love our Lennar home. The location, lot size, and price couldn’t be beat. When it comes to issues (which all homes have) a Lennar representative has been quick to respond and get us on the schedule. We are just over one month in our home and have no significant complaints thus far.

Countless problems with everything from landscaping, driveway, fireplace, interior doors, door handles, very cheap patio door and windows, insects, cost cutting changes that were unacceptable, home not clean on move-in day, etc. The problems are endless and the list is too long. Very frustrating. Purchasing this home has turned out to be an expensive mistake. The homes are not ready to be lived in and are being built extremely quickly. Once you close, the customer service is terrible.

Going through Lennar’s financing was a long process I think it was because we went VA but still the amount of items the underwriter kept asking for was ridiculous we actually didn’t know we were set to close until 12 before we closed! We have great credit to so I’d hate to see how it would be if you don’t! Eunice was really helpful and nice! The house is beautiful but there are some things that they’ve cut corners on for sure! We are overall happy but there are things that could be improved on!

Our sales rep, Aaron was fantastic. He was and still is a great resource to continue to have. Our lender, Peter, through Lennar was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made the process seamless. The woman in Lennar title, Leigh, was incredibly condescending and rude the handful of times we had to speak with her. We had to deal with her at the very end of the purchase process and she really put a sour taste in our mouths. We realize we cannot expect perfection, however, when you are spending $600k+ on a home, you have high expectations. - The finishes used are incredibly cheap and outdated - Some of the contractors used did not take time or pride in their work and it shows - The grass installed was dead in most areas when we did our walkthrough and this was mentioned and nothing was done - The home was missing about 15% of insulation in our attic. This has since been resolved after 1 month of living here. - Anywhere there is tile, grout haze and stains are plentiful. We don’t expect absolute cleanliness when we move in, but the grout stains should be removed, as they don’t come off easily. - When receiving the home, there was a clear miss on providing details related to the community, HOA, trash service etc. There should be a packet of information for the homeowner. Good thing Aaron, our sales rep, is around and has helped us navigate it all. - We even had a contractor walk into our home post-move, with his own key opened the door and walked right in. He was very apologetic, but the fact that this happened was not great. These are just some of the issues that we’ve experienced. I’m thankful to have some things fixed/corrected but others cannot be. Each builder will have their pros/cons, I just wish these homes weren’t built so quickly because the quality tends to decline when you have contractors just doing whatever they can, however fast they can, to finish the job and move to the next. ... The process was very smooth from beginning to end everyone from Lennar was always there when I had a question very helpful

Great experience with Lennar in Florida!

Here are the list of issues we noticed within a month. 1. Sump pump outlet is not clued and after first rain, water leaked in basement. 2. Patio door and net are not installed properly. Even after fixing it, it is not smooth to open and close. 3. There is no power outlet is island. 4. 4 door having opening and closing issues. It is hard and giving sound when opening and closing. My kid is having trouble to open bathroom in living floor and we have to stay outside every time. 5. The walkway between main door and driveway is not in same level of driveway which makes kids to fell every time. This might be bigger problem in winter :( ... More

Sales rep was great, builder was great. Lender experience was average at best.,

I love my my house, however I will never buy another Lennar homes again due to the worst buying experience I had with Cole at Tavola West in New Cany TX. Don't recommend anyone to buy Lennar homes.

The buying experience was extremely stressful. There’s no guidance and communication. There’s a ton of urgency asking for this or that but, when I asked questions it took days to get an answer. The sales people just assume you know the process but, when you’re a first time buyer it’s very stressful.

These homes are not tailored to buyers, just to sell, if you expect that they will make even small changes to layout, color or anything for you, to the home, then you would need to go through a different builder, because they don't do that here, my experience is not a good one, so I will not recommend to others.
