This whole process has been the easiest experience of my life…which is very rare with home buying. From the first look and intro to the realtor (Sarah is an exceptional woman!), to the mortgage process, and everything there after my experience has been above board!! I received what I felt was an amazing deal and with zero haggling…they gave me the best offer upfront! During my new home orientation there was an issue with carpet noted. The timeframe in between closing didn’t allow for it to be fixed..,so, it wasn’t finished on move-in. Communication was above board the whole way though. I submitted the work order once I moved in and with zero fuss, they immediately responded and scheduled the company to come fix it at a time convenient to my schedule. She never communicated with me the buyer. I would have to be the one to call the office to get answers to my questions, even then she would have to find out the answers to my questions and get back to me. She never did call me back until I had to be the one to her call back. Unacceptable. Customer Service team was great!

If you buy a home here, be prepared to spend additional money outside of the purchase price for upgrades. We hired contractors to replace the standard rack pantry shelves with wooden shelving. Also hired a contractor to paint the entire inside to replace the flat paint job with satin paint. Also hired a contractor to replace the standard tub in the guest bath with a soaker tub. The homes are all spec homes so you can't customize anything. The upgrades we added weren't necessary, but we wanted our new home to sparkle. Finally, if you are financing, I advise against using Lennar mortgage. It was a very frustrating experience for us with poor communication, lack of response to questions and a week's delay in the closing. Find another trusted bank or mortgage lender. ... More

We did the walkthrough with the house dirty.(fatal) Paint work terrible, wood trim prep work poor quality. Warranty team is excellent.

Buying my new home with Lennar at Edge of Auburn, Garner has been a great experience overall. I had little difficulties with Lennar mortgage at initial stages, but they were very responsive when closing date was nearby

Nobody answers the calls or messages after their step completes. Their simple response is I dont know.

The home purchase with our loan officer was great. The closing process was very disappointing. We were denied our keys after closing because of a $49.00 last minute fee by the title company. Never do business with Lennar again and will not recommend to my other investors.

For us all the process was very smooth.

During the final walkthrough we pointed out things that had not been corrected in obvious spots. Such as large splotches of gray in the middle of the wall (obvious things). The lady who did our walkthrough said to just sign the final walkthrough docs or Lennar wouldn’t be able to make the corrections. We went to closing and we asked again about the discrepancies and were told after closing they would follow up. No one followed up. We tried reaching out and our calls went unanswered. We had to remove multiple orange tapes and granted we understand the hard to spot ones. But in the middle of the wall in one of our bedrooms with the same sploch of gray is ridiculous… Unfortunately cannot recommend Lennar go any of our friends due to the (sign this or we can’t take care of it). Very poor quality. They show you a model home, then drop the bomb on you, it don't come with this and that, bait and switch. Put cabinets in with NO knobs to open them with. Much much more.

The Lennar team lacked communication. Any time we had a question it seemed like no one made time to respond or help us out unless they needed something from us; like sign a document or process a payment. Everything felt rushed and they wouldn’t accommodate to simple request we had during the closing process. Very satisfied with the house I bought, just disappointed in some of the communication skills.

The review is supported, educated and energized in assisting with your home progress/steps. Overall I love my home until I have referred other clients. Thanks a million

Build quality seems to be done as cheaply as possible. All interior items are builder grade or low end. Only one outside faucet is also example of cost cutting measures. One disappointment was the poor installation of the sod for the homes yard. Soil prep was poorly done and I have to keep removing rocks under the sod, causing it to lay unevenly. Cannot evaluate all aspects of build quality at this early date. Will see how everything holds up over time Lennar employees were friendly and helpful during the purchasing process. Projected closing and inspection dates were all met.

Building with Lennar was the absolute worst experience. The home was 5 months late. No ability to change or pick out anything. I call it the Walmart of new homes. You get what you pay for

It’s great pleasure to work with Lennar. Time and trust for quality along with warranty, those are great skill of the Lennar team.

Disaster all the way through. I really believe Lennar failed in every aspect. And from now, the house is already falling apart. All baseboards have left the wall. Outside panels are peeling back. Incredible. The finance side of this I could write a novel on how bad it was. Absolutely unacceptable.

Lennar in general was great in assisting us from start to finish! There are just minor workmanship issues that needs to be address before our 60 days. But overall, service was it excellent!

-Buying process was painful and the price on the contract didn’t match the verbal price we were told. -Early on during a scheduled visit, I noticed the wrong bathtub and shower was installed. It took a month of nagging to get someone to confirm that the wrong shower was installed. This ended up causing a 3 month, last minute delay of our home being built. -the sheathing on my roof has about a 5 inch gap on it. I assumed a vented roof cap was going to be installed. That is not the case and I have a 5 inch gap just covered by shingles. Lennar claims it’s per manufacturer standards, but I’m pretty sure that’s against local code. -Lennar was very strict that my 3rd party inspection was “structural only” and needed to be 1 week prior to the initial walk through. Well my dishwasher wasn’t installed yet so it didn’t get tested. The day I move in, I open my door to a flooded floor. It’s been 6 weeks since I have moved in and the repairs are still not done. The fact that the dishwasher wasn’t tested after installation is ridiculous. -My backyard is filled with soccer ball size rocks and easily 50 cigarette butts, I have been promised a final grade for about 6 weeks now. -my front yard was covered in construction debris and cigarette butts. This is simply unprofessional and unacceptable. Ultimately I cleaned this up myself. -the tac strip is poking out of the carpet nearly everywhere, my kids have hurt themselves on this multiple times. -the concrete on my back patio has a crack in it, I noted it on my initial inspection but nothing has been done about it - My drive way has a massive red chalk stain, power washing was unsuccessful, and it appears Lennar has given up on fixing it -the landscaping in the front is a joke. No landscape paper under the half inch of mulch that was placed. My drip system for the front is on the same valve/zone as the main rotary heads. -to be fair, it seems that Lennar has good intentions, It is just apparent that they don’t have control of their subs and are clearly disorganized. -The warranty team has been decent to work with, but the disconnect between warranty and construction team is apparent. -Ultimately working with Lennar has been a nightmare and I currently would not recommend them as a builder. The concrete out the outside is already cracked. Lennar is not willing to fix it. Yet with time it will settle and crack with the foundation of the house. A month in the home the stucco has settle more and it’s more than a quarter outside the house. Horrible job who did the stucco and crack. My cabinets under my island is messed up. They can’t guarantee it get fix better or it can be worst. They should have done it right. New home and they say to not expect it to be perfect conditions and to settle for what it is. My gas dryer didn’t work. The fencing is crappy
