Arthur our real estate agent was very helpful and easy to work with. That is the only thing that went well. They rushed to close and get their money at the end of their fiscal year and the finishing work was of poor quality. I am still dealing with the punch list over 9 weeks later. I don't think you could have cheaper appliances. We have spent several hours fixing things ourselves because we were getting tired of waiting for someone to come and do it. This was supposed to be a new home which I would expect to be turn key with maybe a couple of small things but that wasn't the case. Cabinets, doors, trim molding, front door lock, mirror and several other things needed attention. Then trying to work with all the different workers that have to come and and repair the problems has been a problem, they think everyone just sits at home. My husband and I work so it has not been easy. I don't enjoy sending my time off waiting for so many different repairs to be done. Nice home for a good price.

I have been experiencing lots of issues with the doors at my house in addition to a drawer in the kitchen that won't close properly from the first time I opened it. This is my first time purchasing a new home. Maybe this is normal. I did contact customer services regarding these issues and they responded immediately. They put me in contact with my representative and an appointment was made by him to have someone come out to make repairs. I am hopeful that when that time comes around all repairs will be made to my satisfaction.

Moro aqui no Brasil, e comprei minha casa atraves da Lennar de forma totalmente on line, contei com um time de ponta para me atender a todas as duvidas e necessidades, desde a demonstração da casa, uma vez que eu estava longe, ate a concretização final de todo o processo, neste estagio sim fomos ate Orlando para assinatura do contrato. Day one I was promised Lennar would over communicate during the process however it was quite the opposite. It took me contacting every VP in Lennar to get responses from my salesperson and community rep. Once I finally got answers to questions, I would get the standard response of “I can’t answer that because so and so handles that.” When I arrived for my final walk through the cleaning team was still there so we worked around them. I will say the one person who did meet my expectations was the Lennar Mortgage team. If customer service is the name of the game in home buying, Lennar might need to reassess its values and training to ensure all members of their teams understand what it means to work for and represent the Lennar brand. ... Buying from Lennar was like being bullied into a deal. When we bought the house they shortcut a lot of things. The sub contractors were not caring at all about their craft. Lennar forced us to stick to the contract even though they were weeks behind on their work. The final walkthrough was scheduled after the closing date. They refused to budge on adjusting time frames and owning up to the work that needed to get done. By the time final walkthrough happened. They needed to touch up all the baseboards in the house and repaint/repair a lot of areas. Lennar also refused to follow specs. Not giving us closets and grass with sprinklers as promised. Throwing $5 bag of mulch down and calling it done. We have constant leaks and flooding in the garage because the house was built wrong. Customer service promise to resolve issues but schedule weeks out. I will look into legal actions but buyer beware!!! ... More

Mostly a good experience buying from Lennar, the buying process went fairly smooth and I think the house is a good value. The only negative was I bought house at end of February but didn't move in until end of April. The refrigerator was making a lot of noise, repair people came out and it was missing an entire door gasket, now I have no refrigerator until fixed.

Homebuying process was easy. I was not happy being int the middle of a cost cutting effort from Lennar. Originally told the house would come with (and was on all marketing materials including website) Wifi Mesh Network, Water Sensor, Ring Alarm, and other great items but it did not show up on the final transaction. I missed it on the documents I signed and it could not be honored. Not super thrilled spending over half a million dollars on a house and it does not include any ceiling lights in any room, the living room, and even the master bedroom! Need to run lamps everywhere. Getting the house is plagued with issues. The big one is HVAC which the heater didn't work upon moving in so they fixed, now it has heated up and the AC doesn't work which they just fixed today. Dishwasher drain line was not installed and just random quirks with door alignment, loose toilets, show knobs loose, towel rack fell off, floor board trim coming up, network/coax jacks on the wall not connected at all (just faceplate), network box shoved in and had to get re-installed/cut, etc. Tried starting dishwasher today and its erroring out, so dealing with that now. I'm hoping nothing else. Spenser has been good for support. Still wish I had a flawless Lennar experience. Sadly my parents had the same Lennar experience in a different state. My position is a Quality Operations Manager and while I think I have a particular eye, I don't think I was being picky on any of these flaws. Some incentives we were told we would get and did not. Lack of communication on the front end. The CM, warranty and closing team were great. Issues after closing were addressed in a timely manner.

Able to choose from several homes already built, but with differing features, so not all the same. Home purchase was very quick and easy. However, short-term mortgage application was full of forms, after forms, after forms to be filled out. Due to long-distance purchase, the on-line docu-sign process was a bit cumbersome and frustrating at times. Overall, purchase went very quick and extremely satisfied with our new home.

Anytime I work with Monica Faircloth, it is a very seamless experience. She takes care of my concerns like her own.Kudos to Lennar for having such awesome employees who keep their customers first

As a person who has purchased a newly constructed home previously plus a custom house, I found Lennar head and shoulders above the competition and I'm picky. - Workmanship carpentry, electrical, finishing, and, plumbing good to great - Client services good to great and proactively helpful - Warranty service proactive and supportive - Code compliance exceeded requirements - Energy efficiency exceeded requirements - Products medium to high end and higher than expected for price - Contract makes it seem more difficult than necessary, but they might be uptight because some people have unrealistic expectations - Punchlist client service extra nice, but the punchlist process only area not great. Unsure if crew just too busy, so few items procrastinated until last minute, but to me, it felt like they tested if I'd let it go, so ultimately delayed closing a day. In contrast the floor/tile provider/installer, Macadam floors, were seriously disappointing 1 star- meager selection and overpriced upgrades without credit for products in purchase price and delayed 2.5 month their order for upgraded tile until tile unavailable so had to reselect less perfect color and installation of carpet provided a poor carpet seam plus, in my opinion, some outdated color selections. ... Our home purchase experience with Lennar was good overall. We had a bit of tug of war during the initial negotiations however once that was sorted out we definitely got a great value for the price paid. Our salesperson Taria and construction manager Cheyenne were very communicative and responsive to all of our questions, requests and concerns. Even after closing their warranty team has been very hands on. Our only concern at this time is that there are several homes within the neighborhood that were sold to foreign investors and being rented immediately for low income housing. This decision was made in poor choice as it creates the risk of decreasing the overall neighborhood value. People don’t work hard to purchase a home over half a million dollars to end up living amongst thugs and lowlives. Sell only to people interested in actually living in the neighborhood and want to see it thrive. ... More

We encountered poor communication all the way around during the closing process. The closing coordinator scheduled a “walk-through”, and scheduled it for the wrong time/date. We arrived as told to, and there was no-one there. The follow up was absolutely horrid. The home was NOT ready to close. We encountered plumbing issues, walls were unfinished, blue tape was everywhere, broken tiles, master shower was not finished (no shower doors), the kitchen counter is still uneven, broken window screen, lanai door would not close/lock. I could go on and on with the issues. For a solid week after closing, we had construction workers still coming in and out of our home. Things are still outstanding. Terrible closing experience. The experience has been an experience you do not want as a homeowner. It started with discouraging you from having a Realtor and getting a Lawyer. Get your home inspected as there are many flaws and some areas not completed to standards. You must take your time during the initial inspection of your home to include the outside landscaping area. I had dead trees and when request of replacement was done Lennar stated that landscaping is not included. Ensure your irrigation system works!!! Tiles in the home chipped and cracked not replaceable by the warranty, do not understand this!!! Check your electrical outlets. Last minute planted grass in the back of house was in horrible condition!!! Crown mouldings inconsistent with incomplete pieces in some areas in the house. Caulking not completed in bathroom areas!!! No peep hole on door!!! Ring doorbell didn’t work and I had to replace it on my own!!! Check that Ring light is spinning for set up. Check cabinets as some are misaligned and screws not completely screwed in, you can see gaps in the kitchen cabinets doors. Bricks pavers were loosed and cracked outside!!! Cracked tiles on roof!!! There are too many things to list as we have been discovering them after moving in!!! Just take your time when inspecting the home!!! ... More

Everyone I talked to or worked with from purchase to current was positive.

The model home and things in it are much different than the final products or things added to the different homesites. Finish is terrible, materials are cheaper than cheap. It feels like we need to renovate even though it's a new house.... the smallest toilets and appliances.

From a construction standpoint, the house was pretty well built. I’ve been here for roughly 3 months now and I’ve had barely any issues. As far as the sales standpoint, my real estate agent was able to work closely with Paul and get the deal done in a timely manner The only drawback I had was with the Mortgage department within Lennar. They were unethical aspects that occurred during my Purchase because there was a huge rush to get my home closed by February 28th. This was due to the concept that Lennar end of year allocation was due on the same day. With that being said, I felt like my mortgage officer made more of a push to get the house sold Weiss to caring about my needs or helping me through the process. Moving forward, I would not mind purchasing a home from Lennar based off of the house and the foundation in which it was built as some time and care was put into. It’s a construction. However, I would never use Lennar’s mortgage, regardless of how much money is being offered at closing ever again. ... More

Materials quality is not that great

First did not fine Arthur trust worthy. Chris the superintendent of the Veranda condos wasn’t to interested in overseeing the initial construction and stated a few times that things would be corrected during the 1 st. Year by filling out repair work orders. I have been in the construction industry and management during my career and have never seen such poor quality . I would sure like to speak with someone as I could offer valued services to Lennar.

Overall experience was not bad but of course things arise. Satisfied at this time. I appreciate the Lennar team trying their best to help when it is needed. Hopefully it will continue.

The Sales team was great. The construction side of things not so great. Zero attention to detail. If I ever purchase a new home I will definitely be sure to pay more attention to the little things.
