We walked through the house had so much spots not painted and carpet, windows and hard floors was stained with paint and the whole ceiling in the kitchen/dining room/living room wasnt painted a few walls werent, the siding outside was damaged, was told they were gonna have a cleaning crew go clean multiple times and never did! Moved in Feb 24th and finally got my full yard of grass and trees April 12th while everyone around me had grass and we moved in about the same time, the new neighbors got their grass and trees before me so Lennar really let me down! The sales rep and the financial reps were helpful but it got spoiled by builder, cleans and landscape! Even had a lock on my garage door that slowed the moving process down ... More

The homes are beautiful with a lot of thoughtfulness in the design process. The homes I toured and then bought had all of the amenities I was looking for without having to customize as it was already there!!

LENNAR sales agent James was very helpful, walked me thorough the new home purchase process, help resolve all the issues and concerns raised. Overall review -10 out of 10.

I could not have chosen a better Lennar realtor- Aaron. He kept me sane through the entire experience. While the financing did work out in the end- the Lennar mortgage side of things did leave me wishing for better communication and a more seamless experience.

Overall the experience was quick and relatively simple . Some quality issue drywall spots need to be touched up. Moved into the home 8 weeks ago and I am still waiting on my driveway to be poured.

I had looked at several different homes and builders before purchasing my Lennar. The layout and the price was comparable to some of the others, but look closely at what you want and what the home offers. The selling process was maybe to quick and easy but it definitely worked for me. When you purchase a home make sure when completing the walk through before closing, make sure you know everything you want to about the house, what comes with it and what you have purchase after closing. There was no time for my realtor had time to review the home and make an offer. The sales person should be more interested in showing and explaining everything!! Mine lacked in doing that and so leave room for the extras that didn’t come with the home. If there would have been more time taken to explain this is what comes with the home and what doesn’t, very confusing. Also you have to buy your own refrigerator so why not purchase your own appliance package to make sure you get what you want. Or at least offer the option. After all is said and done I really love my home and would purchase another but with a much better sales person!! ... More

The overall experience of buying the house was fine, with the exception of a last minute document that allowed Lennar Mortgage to share all of our information with their affiliates. The house itself is a great layout. But if it's not required by code, then they weren't doing it. Meaning, no fence, no landscaping, no window well covers, etc. And all of the finishes are super cheap. Flooring doesn't hold up to dogs. Counters are extra thin to save money. They paint the door hinges to save $1.50 per door. They put as few lights in as possible. After building a few homes ourselves, we get that every dime counts but Lennar takes it to the extreme compared to other production home builders in the Denver area. I will give them props for having a good sized garage and great floor plan! Warranty process has been easy, and the customer service rep (Pat) has been crazy responsive and easy to work with. ... The team at Lennar has been great to work with. The are very responsive to all request and handle issues in a timely fashion.

Jordan at Northpointe was friendly from the start. We were first time buyers and he didn't seem annoyed or tired of our questions. He responded daily. He was quick at moving our home buying process along. We were initially going to close on a home from another very popular home builder, but we are so glad we didn't. They didn't have the customer service Lennar had. They overlooked us, made us feel unwanted and the process was extremely stressful! We are so thankful we found Lennar and decided to go with them. They deserved it!

It was good experience

I thought they did a great job in the beginning of the process very responsive until the week of closing. Once I closed - moving from another state - with no idea of who to contact for utilities HOA etc. So disorganized and frustrating. Once that was figured out, all is good. Love the place so far! I did go through Lennar Mortgage and they did a great job!

Beautiful home, nice location. Builder is very knowledgeable and responsive to any issues raised. Great experience.

I think there are some basic things that needed to be included in these homes that Lennar does not. I think glass shower doors and maybe ceiling fans should be the basics in homes in Texas. I also think the team that builds the homes could use a little more supervision I won’t get into that. Other than that the homes are nice which they build more in other spaces affordable homes because all cities in Dfw need affordable homes not just in the outskirts.

I had to close from out of state and the whole process was very smooth with no glitches!

Im happy with the price of the house but wish lennar gave the buyer options for their house. Having kids the flat white paint is terrible if you get a wet rag it takes the paint off. Also why not include a garage opener for the garage door. On top of that how much harder would it be to just paint the garage if you are painting the whole house just paint the garage too. Also if you are going to lay sod why not just make sure all of the lot has sod and not just leave half of the backyards with dirt. Or for me have 1/4 of the front yard with a pile of sand. Another thing why only paint the trim on the front of the house white and not do it the sides and the backyard. These houses are built with 1 goal and it shows build as many as possible and sell them fast with quality of work as secondary. Just drive down the street and you can see shingles already missing from houses that were just built this year. But drive in other neighborhoods in Portland and their shingles are just fine. Some other issues ive had with this house in the first month of me living here are week 1 AC went out over the weekend and I got told sorry there is nothing we can do until monday. So myself and my pregnant wife didn’t have ac that weekend. Last week we noticed our garage had a steady stream or water coming from the ceiling turns out the builder put a nail through the water line. They fixed the leak pretty quick but still waiting for the insulation and drywall to get replaced. Lennar in my opinion is the most affordable housing in the area, but keep in mind customer satisfaction does not mean much to them they just care about selling a house and getting the next one sold. ... Lennar is superb at building golf communities. The home choices are fine. However, the finishes are outdated, ugly, and exactly the same. It’s unfortunate you pay so much money and then end up sending it to the landfill. I know Lennar buys in bulk, however it doesn’t have to be so dated especially the tile walls and flooring. A suggestion would be to give the buyers a choice to pay the difference and make it their responsibility of having the material on site on time. And if not Lennar installs their materials. It could be a lot better. Figure it out.

I do not like the practice of having one lawyer represent all sides, including the mortgage bank. While it may seem to be convenient, I had no one to speak with during the process when I had questions.

We love the view at our front windows of the morning sunrise just above Harris Teeter. We also love the green lights and purple lights at night for the tower at the entrance of the shopping center and the assisted-living facility. The large windows create a city loft living space feel, which has been surprisingly a real plus. The sales staff and construction staff were very helpful and making the deal come together when it was supposed to.

Over all o would say a smooth experience but need to check on all financing details upfront to not have any surprises of government funding fee adding to your loan if on FHA and a great promising interests rates for sure

Poor quality overall. Very disappointed. Many defects and issues that require repair AFTER closing. Poor attention to quality control over vendors during the construction process and lack of oversight in remedying BEFORE closing so it leaves the homeowner having to chase to get warranty items repaired. The warranty rep (Doug) has been fantastic and responsive - BUT - we shouldn’t have to deal with all of these issues. More care is needed in making sure the home is delivered in better shape/quality BEFORE you sell to a prospective buyer. Not fair to the buyer to have to deal with all of these issues after close and after they already paid. ... More
