We had a good experience and we will recommend to our families and friends

The whole experience was easy. I am really enjoying my new home and like the neighborhood.

Great property. Buying experience went well and had assistance all along the process. Everyone was very attentive to guiding us through the buying process. House does have some issues to address so proper/thourough inspection recommended. Good thing there is a 1 yr warranty coverage because still dealing with open tickets.

My experience started off very well I met Leandra and I needed plenty of help because Im not computer savvy as most people are. She was very knowledgable answering my questions and showed me alot of respect being 69 yrs old. I never imagined I could qualify for a loan that easy. Having the VA helped me with my loan was very comfortable. I dealt with alot of people from the start to the finish.and I am glad that it is almost all over. I would like to thank all the Lennar people that helped me to get my new home. Living at Sapphire Grove is great very peaceful and quiet.

everything is good besides mailbox and Solar system.

Overall our experience was great. Very easy process in getting into our home. Had a couple of issues just in material issues. Each time I've gone to the office and before I could get back home the superintendent was waiting for me and either corrected the issue on the spot or had repairs scheduled before he left.

Overall, the move-in process was definitely a bit challenging, but worth it in the end. We are happy with our beautiful home and feel tremendously blessed. The entire teams from : loan officer (Mike), underwriting (Amanda), Closing (Alma) and then final walk through (Brittany) was an amazing experience. Thank you from my family!

We are excited to find a design and location that fulfilled what we set out to find. Every one in Lennar our third party organized by Lennar we're very knowledgeable and responsive. We have only one serious concern, and that is the organization charged with running the HOA. We have found that the lack of any written landscape guidelines exceedingly annoying. We sent to the HOA office and we have written to the HOA contract email asking for help. Our concern has been compounded with the utter nonsense of charging for doing the review of any landscaping design within our owned walls, quite a scam given we could not locate anyone who could or would provide guidelines. ... Well organized purchasing process from beginning to end.

I was disappointed in the amount of time it took to close on closing day, which resulted in our getting the keys too late to move in. Overall, the home is, so far, better than expected. Service calls are answered in an average amount of time, with the exception of an EXCEPTIONAL member of the Customer Service team named Sonia.

Lennar worked in unison across their departments to provide smoother and hassle-free experience of home buying. Sales, construction, mortgage and insurance units sent constant communication through out the process. Overall good experience.

he buying experience with Lennar was about what you’d expect from a large corporate builder: professional on the surface, but you get the sense you’re just a number. Every negotiation felt like pulling teeth, and the promises made were larger than the follow-through. Some details were glossed over or even misleading — especially regarding HOA expectations. As an example of being treated like a number, I needed landscaping documents within 20 days of closing and couldn’t get ahold of my salesperson at all. I had to find a workaround on my own, and based on that, I would not recommend working with her. The build team, however, was a completely different experience. They did a thorough walkthrough with us, and our rep had already flagged many issues before we even arrived. Most were resolved before move-in, and the rest were handled quickly afterward. Special thanks to Patrick — he’s been a rockstar. He responds fast, communicates clearly, and even accepts text messages to help with issues. That said, there are a few disappointments in the construction and landscaping choices. The siding used is very thin, which seems to be an unfortunate trend with large builders cutting costs. Landscaping has also been spotty — several of our plants died quickly, and I’ve noticed similar issues around the neighborhood. There is a warranty covering one replacement, so I’ll reserve judgment until I see how that process goes. Overall: Once we were past the sales office, the experience improved dramatically. The build team and post-close support have been excellent, and despite the frustrations, we’re happy with our home and excited about the community. ... More

I got to experience the building of the house. There are issues I experienced during my build. First issue would be the siding being installed as though they were shingles and not staggered like it should have been. Second would be the flooring being installed the same way! There was a stair step pattern. Flooring should've been sporadically staggered. Neither the siding nor the flooring was corrected. Third issue would've been kitchen countertop installed properly, but then a few days later was cracked. Andy resolved that issue and had the countertop replaced. Fourth issue would've been kitchen cabinet gouged while being installed. Andy also resolved that problem as well. Replacing the cabinet entirely. Fifth issue was watching the trim guy beat trim so hard over doorway cracking it and leaving it. Then painters come behind him and try to cover it up with filler and painting over it. And Andy also resolved that by having the entire trim over the door replaced. Sixth issue would be someone gouged the flooring in the bathroom. Issue was corrected. The seventh issue would have been pipe going to the furnace that was in line of walking directly into as you going through the doorway. Issue was resolved pipe was turned away. I also walked through several other homes being built, and the issue was in those homes as well. The worst part of the experience would have been the painters. I'm not sure which is worse the trim guy or the painters. There are runs all throughout the trim in the house. Overall, if it had not been for Andy and Brent these contractors just do whatever they want and leave it. 90% if not more are non-speaking English. I downsized from Dave Sego quality built custom home to Lennar. This was very painful to watch throughout. I would say these are nice starter homes for young couples. But if you are wanting quality, I would say do your homework first. We only met the construction manager after we closed, and did a brief walk around, I believe that he did address the issues our individual inspector noted during the build process. Dominique Peck, Sales Consultant, was excellent. She was always very responsive to our many questions. Jackie Dearmond, Concierge, was quite responsive to our questions and in providing necessary information needed all the way to our closing date.

Loan officer was great and made things simple, however, person collecting required items often couldn’t find items or asked for them 3-4X. Final walkthroughs were half done, the workers were overbooked so they had others step in who had no clue what was going on. Was told the home would be cleaned up by the time we picked up our keys and it was still dirty in every single room and outside. Trash, left over construction parts, dirt, paint, etc. when we complained we were told since we had the keys there was nothing they could do. nearly 2 months later still no grass and our fence is left incomplete due to this. ... This is our first home and overall our experience was fine. If it wasn’t for an agent in another Lennar community, I would’ve never bought this home because the Devin the realtor was not very helpful and personable. She was very unprofessional and spoke badly of the Lennar agent who actually helped us. The homes are over priced and don’t match the comps in the area and if you don’t know or negotiate you will be over paying. There are people in our neighborhood who purchased same home for less. Other builders are more transparent. They make you feel like your getting a massive discount but in reality your paying for what your getting. The home build is pretty descent though. The move in date estimate was pretty spot on. We have not had much issues except a few minor issues so far. The one good thing I can say is that they do hook you up with a person who you can reach out to for any issues and you have another 90 days to fix any other issues so that’s a plus. They also do another 1 year inspection which is good too. They do make sure you know they are not a maintenance company although I wish they would actually listen to what you have to say before making those statements. Overall we love our home and do home that we don’t have any issues down the road as we plan to be here for a long time. ... More

Excellent quality homes very comfortable prices.

Some things they are great a few other things they need to work on like the day we closed escrow the person that did the walk through NEVER called us back even after we Text him twice but other people like Ryan in the sales office is the BEST.

Overall, it was a great experience. It got a little upsettingly when I was dealing with the loan process, but in the end everything worked out fine. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the home looked amazing. I was please with the price of the home and the interest rate was second to none. I definitely recommend anyone who wants to purchase a new build to check out Lennar.

This was our third Lennar home purchased in the Carolinas. Never had a problem with them before and overall we are satisfied with our purchase. That being said, there does seem to be a downturn in the quality of work. Hoping this turns out to be the right move.

We love the house, getting used to the extra bills….water bill is double of our old water bill, taxes homeowners, melrose etc. The one thing that was disappointing is all the overlay of concrete that had to be chipped away before we concrete the north side walkway. All Lennar did was throw dirt over it. We love it here so far, the people here are very nice

Not sure how may of you have experienced the cost of living in crease in NJ but I have worked 2 jobs consecutively the last 4 years and can not afford a home in New Jersey! I am constantly being outbid and priced out of the housing market. I have spent the last 3 years looking and finally said: I guess I have to move out of state. I found the new construction home back in March, flew down in April and fell in love! Told my realtor. THIS IS MY HOUSE! He continued to speak and I just stared and repeated.... THIS IS MY HOUSE!
